I cannot access itch.io link either.
I think you forgot to publish your itch game, it's towards the bottom of the edit game page. Tag me once you fix it and I'll give it a try!!
I get this when I follow your link: Screenshot 2023-05-01 111138.png
I forgot to click on the publish button on itch.io. The link should work now @haydads, @cheesepencil, @linus-lindberg, @pauvictor! Thanks for your messages
For me your game loads! Played a few rounds and while it feels a bit glitchy (I was accidentally pushed into the air much more often that I'd like to ;) ) it overall works! Congrats on finishing in time!
Generally a nice idea, but fighting is a bit clumsy. Hard to hit the robbers and I didnt make it past the third level and gave up. Good job anyways, polish the fighting and it could be a nice game.
haha i love it yours is the first game so far i played that you have to beat other people to death with clubs
The feedback when the character gets hit is so adorable! The gameplay is engaging and fun.
It would be nice not to fall to my death if I go over the edge. It is in quite rough state but nice submission.
I enjoyed playing your game. Well done!
Nice game you got here bro!!! It was bit tough but I liked it!
also play my game!
I found targeting the enemies difficult. Some feedback on successful hits would have helped. I played the web version. Still made it to level 3 with most of the gold.
Cool game. I find it hard to hit enemies, and having to start again at level 1 didn't help. Which is a bummer since it gets really interesting after level 2. Good job
Nice job for your first jam with Godot! I need to try learning that engine one of these days... Anyway, the game is fairly simple, but functions well. I like the idea of trying to defend the moving carts. Almost feels like a reverse tower defense game where you're the one moving along a fixed track and the enemies are the ones trying to stop you.
The game is sorely missing feedback though. It's hard to tell when an enemies hits something, or when you hit an enemy. It doesn't help that you have to restart from the beginning when you die. Sounds effects feel sorely absent too (that's part of the reason the game lacks feedback). The music is cool though.
Not bad! It's very ambitious to do combat like this for a jam game but it does work. I accidentally killed my own cart though which was not great. Something about brightly colored primitives is always very endearing to me. Good work!
I probably should have read the description better, it took me way too many tries to learn that I wasn't supposed to be knocking over the cart to get the gold in it. Would have been nice to have friendly fire disabled for that, too. Also seconding that it's hard to tell when you're hitting enemies or how many times you need to hit them. I got to the first big level (level 3? 4?) before I stopped. For a 3d game in 48 hours, this is decent work, and has potential, but there's a lot of improvements that could be made!
I played the first level, but then it did not seem to continue after that. Still, it's something, and it's interesting. Nice work.
Well done, I loved the death animations!
