Nice idea. It would be cool if the camera follows the player, especially when the player start shape is not on the screen when the level starts.

Fun game! Some notes from playing on OSX: Right away the game opens a file system dialog and makes you choose a folder - I'm guessing for the save game? It was pretty confusing, I would suggest deferring that if possible. Also the Control+Arrow keys are bound to OSX shortcuts, so I had to unbind them in my system settings in order to get them to work in the game.
I liked the puzzles, and the progression. Great job!

Enjoyed. You can add some background music. (My game is also a grid puzzler and I also have no music but it really helps to the vibe.)

Nice idea. As tmodeal have already said, having the camera to follow the player would make this even better.

Hi. The idea is in line with the theme. As you mention it the overall feel is "first gamish", but for a first entry, the game is complete and it is quite promising. Keep up the good work :)

This was a fun little game! I loved the use of sound effects in the game, and the UI was very nice looking! It was cool that you added save functionality as well!
I think that there should have been an explanation at the beginning of the game for why the player is choosing a file directory (I didn't realize it was for save files until I looked at the source code), or even better, don't have the player specify a save directory until they try to save their game. Also, it would be nice if the game auto-scrolled as the player moved throughout the level.
Good job on your first Ludum Dare :D!

Thanks for all the feedback everyone. I'm currently making an improved version where your suggestions will be included. I'll upload this improved version after the judging has ended.

Cool game.

The puzzles are simple and there's too few, but it can already be interesting sometimes.

Some details that you should correct for next time :
The filedialog box in the beginning is confusing, and it opens every time. You could have openned the dialog box only when you want to save or load, and have the default path be where the file is (more handy I think).

Also, I didn't find a return button (kind of annoying if you accentually opened the tutorial, or clicked on "load file" when you don't have a save).

Maybe a camera that follows the player could have been cool ?

But the game was interesting !

And I don't think the tutorial should be mandatory, you can understand most of the game by playing.

Good luck for your next ludum dares !

Also had problems at first with the select folder dialog and then the keys already being bound in OSX. However, once it was working, I enjoyed the game. It effectively becomes a simple maze game but where some of the paths are covered and others not depending on where you go - I feel like this simple has lots of room for expansion! Overall, nice work!

Nice Ideia, great Job!

It's a decent puzzle game. I had some problems with the windows size and some parts of the gameplay area were not visible to me, therefore I couldn't progress past Level 4. Anyway, thanks for the entry!

Neat puzzler, but it feels pretty empty with only six levels and no music. If the camera followed the player, or even if you were allowed to resize the window I think I could have enjoyed it a lot more. Also, I wouldn't worry about saving and loading games for Ludum Dare, the games tend to be so small it doesn't even matter. Nice first entry!

Nice and simple concept

Very nice. Would have been nice if the screen moved automatically. Finished all 6 levels.

Cool idea. Was a bit too simple for having a save system though :) But doing is learning!
Also that starting file dialogue confused me.
I didn't like the player or camera controls.
I liked the puzzle aspect of having to think before action!
