I liked the small touches like the beeping when you go in reverse and the smoke particle effects! The gameplay might not have much depth but i enjoyed my time playing. Good effort

NAILED IT with the engine sound.

And at first I didn't like the way the steering doesn't snap quickly back to center when I release a turn direction key. But after playing a bit, I feel like this was actually a really good choice after all. It made it really feel like I was operating a piece of heavy equipment. I found myself planning my turns more and really working with AND against the machine itself.

I got a really cool feel of operating this huge heavy lumbering piece of equipment, and that was really what this game was all about. Small touches like the smoke and the beeping reverse also helped to sell it. As did the 3D model with the turning treads.

And of course that SOUND.

Great job. Probably could have capitalized a bit more on the core by having jobs that acknowledged success and auto-advanced, as opposed to the more DIY menu-driven system, but that just gave it more of the simulator feel.

Really nice work on crafting that big-machine experience.

Really good work. I love the style you went for and I think the objective of the game is very good. There's a lot to expand on I feel, but great work!

Loved the artstyle and sound effects. Gameplay is also fun but controls feel a bit weird (steering does not reset when I release arrow keys) but I think it is the part of the challenge. Other than that, very solid entry, good job!

Sorry if I am too harsh, but I think this game Idea could have been implemented better. I do like the graphics, they look good in a low poly way, which I enjoy. But the sounds - they were so annoying. The least you should do is add some background music, and make the engine sound a lot fainter. And I also have a personal beef with games that don't work on their movement system, because it end up ruining the whole experience (and also because I used to write such games): if you don't want to make your controls snappy for the sake of the truck, at least make the unresponsive cooldown to be half of what it is now. Jam games are hard to write, i know, but for the future go for something more polished.

This is very simple, or at least the gameplay is. I get that the challenge (and joy) is supposed to be the driving, and you made sure that this is in and of itself a task with a little bit of challenge and wonkyness that you nevertheless quickly get the hang of. So that's fine!

That, the graphics and the sound work together to make it feel like yes, it's a big truck you're controlling from a distance (could've gone with a bit of screen rumble, but well, you can't do everything). This is also nice.

Yet ... There isn't really anything beyond that though. I drive a car about two times per week these days, and it's sort of comparable to that, when it comes to the 'fun' of the matter.

Simple but fun game, the sound is a bit repetitive. Love the bip bip sound when you go back.

Certainly the game could do with a bit more polish but I think there is very good elements already. As it is the game doesn't feel very challenging other than for the steering. I do like the sounds and the graphics are simple but do their job.

I can see how this could be quite a fun and interesting game if this was a harvester you were controlling in some Command & Conquer game where you had to avoid enemies while trying to bring enough resources for your own team to win :D

Good job!

As someone who also made a harvester-driving game, it was fun to try another!

I am so envious of your engine sound - I ran out of time so my harvester runs on "stealth mode" 😂

One thing I'd update to improve driving feel is making it a little tighter on the turns and less slippery, found myself skidding into stuff quite a bit, also maybe some sort of "go fast" button to spend ore for a speed boost would be cool.

Anyway, nice one, good luck hitting 20 ratings!

Simple fun game - the only thing is am not sure how to loose the game and what to do after i got 100.

Very cool game! Would have been a bit nicer with music, and a pop-up window with a button taking the player to the next level would be nice. Awesome job!

The audio sound effects are on point and the smoke effect is pretty cool. Gameplay wise a pretty simple game, but controlling the harvester feels pretty good! There was only an issue that when you steer in a direction for a longer time the wheel get "locked" in this position and keep steering (BTW I almost missed that there are 3 levels!)

such nice particle smoke, and i love the backup sound! The steering needs to be a bit more controllable. Maybe don't un-steer when i let go? Also the game was about speed, but i did not __Feel__ like i was going fast, so it made me a bit frustrated... Overall a great entry though, worked well and i love the lo-poly look!
