It looks like the web version is broken (on Edge). I tried moving around but I keep getting stuck on invisible walls.

Cool concept, but can't move half of the time
@kasmilus @kjip thank you for playing, or at least trying :) Unfortunately yeah, there seems to be random issues with the web export. That's what you get for using an dev version of the engine :) You can still play on the native Linux and Windows builds, hopefully those work better. Cheers
Tried to play, but there is no macOS version and web version errors in Safari and freezes up Chrome :(
Very cool take on the theme! I was able to play the Windows export version perfectly. I wish there was some background music, but the game is very fine as it is. Cute graphics, fun mechanics and challenging puzzles! By the way, you need to play more games for your game to be visible. I think it deserves a way better rating!
Hey @fusyon. Thanks a lot for dropping by and playing :) Happy to know that it worked well for you on Windows, haven't had time to get it tested there before submitting it. Cheers !
I dont notice in your instructions about invisible walls. I encountered them in every level. Nice looking good.
Cool idea. I am guessing the invisible walls are part of the puzzle? I think the major thing this game is missing is explanation of the mechanics or some sort of tutorial. Otherwise I think it is a neat idea and a good start to a game
Invisible walls? It look like a bug. But I like this game
Everyone is talking about invisible walls, which I encountered too. I'm not sure if thats intentional, because they are not mentioned anywhere no is there any context where they would make sense. Movement was weird for me too, as in the second level the Bot suddenly started moving randomly. Could just be an issue with the web build though, but you may want to look into that. The game looks nice though, the concept, as I understand it, fits the theme well and if you look into the mentioned issues I'd be happy to give it another try.
@milano23 @mango-malarkey @irinam @laserpanzerwal Thank you all for the feedback. I think the web version might not convey it correctly. But basically, If you look at the Screenshot on the top of this page, that's how the game should look like. It should be Ok in the other non-web exports. If by "invisible wall", you mean you cannot go in the red(ish) tiles, then that is not a bug, it's intended. Basically you can only walk green elevated tiles.
Nice concept for a puzzle game that fits the theme. Great compo entry. One thing I didn't like is that holding the W key would move the robot forward multiple steps. It doesn't really matter here since there wasn't point scoring for how efficient you are with moves but if you do end up taking this further, it's something to keep in mind.
Fun concept. I had trouble with WebGL build like others. But windows version seems to be working great. Good job on the entry!
Very nice puzzler  I spend a bit of time figuring out the attract as I had read it as attack... But as soon as I sucked object towards me, I got it. Nice graphics, nice sound effects, wonderful puzzles, movement wasn't optimal, I don't have a better suggestion but it was the only thing I had problems with. All round great job
PS - Couldn't play the web version as got the invisible walls?
It looks interesting =)
It was playable in webgl as well, just a bit harder. Loved the intro tune, is LMMS easy to use?
@oller125 @wolderado @incd021 @torte478 @pe7e Thanks to all for playing :) Glad its not just broken for everyone..
@pe7e, yeah LMMS is pretty easy to use, yet quite powerful. I use it pretty much for every jam to hack together some audio & sound effects from scratch.
Nice puzzle design! You really did a great job introducing different types of situations and gradually increasing the difficulty! I had a lot of fun figuring out the last few levels where you had to plan multiple steps ahead and drag things from across red sections.
PS - Had the same issue as others with the web build where the "good" tiles didn't show up so ended up using the Windows version
A simple and fun little puzzle game. The visuals is pretty good, and sound effects is okay. The controls takes some time to get use to, but it works okay when you first get use to. Overall a fun little jam game.
Nice puzzle, I've finished all levels) I liked the idea of attract objects through walls (orange areas).
I think the game is bugged. I was running into invisible walls. After looking at your screenshot on your page I have noticed I am missing walkable-tiles. Screenshot 2023-10-06 231834.png
As others said, the web version doesn't work but overall cute game with nice graphics and level design
Invisible walls on web version for me, also. You should consider removing the web build altogether if it's unplayable. I won't rate it because I can't play it, but other people might.
Cute game. I like the art style. I understood that I could pull objects towards me but I was not sure how to get past the invisible walls. I thought maybe I pull the objects towards me so they pass through the invisible walls but on the third level I was not able to find a solution that would get me past all the walls.
Other people are complaining about the web version missing the walkable tiles, but it seemed to render fine for me at least.
I liked the models and sounds. I would have expected "sci-fi" type button panels and crates, but I think having everything just be basic furniture is better: it's like the pod is the little robot's studio apartment. I think the controls are a bit weird, though, and found myself getting turned around a lot of the time. Maybe something better would be traditional arrow-key movement and then shift+arrow for the attract action?
@javid-ladhani @monsieurduck @cheesepencil Thank you for dropping by. Can you tell me what browser & OS you're using ? I have not been able to reproduce the issue on my setup. @cheesepencil, that would be a good idea, but I didn't make a MacOS export, so web version is the only available choice for Mac users unfortunately.
@candlesan @henk thank you very much for playing. @henk , yes, the initial idea resembles a lot what you're describing, but then time caught up, and I wasn't able to make it look like a setting in space :)
I too had "invisible walls", but as mentioned by others, after looking at your screenshot it became clear that it was just bugged. Fun concept and I liked the simple yet nice graphics :-)
Super nice concept and it nicely fits the theme. The puzzles are not great but are still interesting. Still I felt I finished some of them without doing the intended solution... Good work anyway!
I did a first test on the web version there were invisible walls. (I use windows 10 and my search engine: chrome)
I then tested the zip version, so cool ! Bravo for the job accomplished ! Nice puzzle game :)
Incredible game for a compo! The truth is, initially, the invisible walls seem like a bug, but once you realize they aren't, you truly enjoy the game a lot! Perhaps it would be interesting to include a mini-tutorial, a sign, or some indication to prevent frustration on the player's part due to the invisible walls. Apart from that, I can only congratulate you on this compo, well done!
Welp I was so confused by that invisible wall things at first ! i should have read the description ahah. Everything was solved by switching to the windows version
The gameplay is really simple, easy too understand yet challenging. I liked it !
I was a little bit confused by the controls at first, separating rotation and movement was weird for me. Maybe I wouldn't be as much confused by keeping WQSD for movement an QE for rotation ? It's a minor issue since even with the current scheme the control are really easy to understand.
Maybe adding a little bit more feedback when a object is pulled would have been awesome.
A good entry, especially for a compo. Great job !
Web build didn't worked for me and I'm on Mac. Thankfully, you built it in Godot so I could download the sources and run it in the editor and it worked :)
You have some nice and smart puzzles there! It was a bit similar as my game but mechanics was different and enjoyable! And you also had time for several levels with increasing difficulty, very cool!
Fun "reverse-sokoban" mechanic. 😊 I really liked the level design, nice gradual increase in difficulty, had to try the last level multiple times before beating it. It took a little bit of time to get used to the controls, I think it could feel nicer without the dedicated rotation keys (e.g. when you press a direction key, the robot rotates there, then starts moving). I enjoyed the low poly art style and the intro music was nice. Also I appreciate the Linux build. Well done! 💜
nice puzzles and interpretation of the theme!
Naturally I did not read the description and was very confused how to do the levels with invisible walls... so I mapped them down on paper and managed to solve the first three. Then came back and... anyways, very nice entry I especially like the little whistle the robot makes  :robot:
The little whistle is very cute, the puzzles are nicely designed. I think there should be a lot more polish! Feedback when solving the level and maybe squish and stretch when moving or pulling would make the game so much more engaging!
I like the models, they look adorable! I ran into the bug too, so I just played it locally. I think the difficulty is scaling pretty nicely and sounds are pretty good too. Turning with ASD sometimes felt weird, but it makes sense. Otherwise, well done!
I really like the twist on the classic pusher theme. Also, extra impressed at the level design conveying the fact you can pull "across" the gaps on level 4 I think. Great stuff. Only crit I have is the controls got a bit frustrating after a few levels. Lovely entry though
Good balance of difficulty on the puzzles, not too easy, not too hard. Had to think for some of the later levels and it was quite satisfying to solve. A fun twist on sokoban.
The models go really well together and the sound effects fit with the game, although the moving sound was a bit too loud for my personal preference.
I had good fun with this short little game. None of the puzzles were too hard, there was a good ramp in complexity and the (windows version of the) game ran perfectly. Just missing a little music.
Great puzzler, good difficulty increase throughout the game and fits excellent to the theme, clean graphics. All made a very polished impression.
Music throughout the game would have been great, the music at begin was very good. How did you make / generated it?
Overall a very good entry!
Thank you all for dropping by and playing ! Hope you enjoyed it :) @gilborn, all music and sound effect was made using LMMS, the Alpha/nightly version. Even the whistling ^^ There are quite a few presets available in it, so I just took some, and turned a few knobs until I liked it.
I tried this out now also and played through several levels before reading the comments here. I thought the invisible walls were intentional, and felt like it wasn't very user-friendly but definitely made the game more challenging... It's great that they weren't an intentional thing. :-D
I liked the graphics and the gameplay in general, although I think (at least in the web version) I got double moves with one button press etc. So perhaps some small things still needing a bit ironing out, but I don't know if that's also a web build problem. Anyway, a nice and clever take on the theme!
It didn't make much sense to me in the gameplay, although the visuals and sound are good, it wasn't that clear because sometimes I can't move forward even if there's nothing in front of me, I'm kind of going by luck without understanding what was happening.
