I played in html5 but the screen is limited to a section with sidebars. Crops a part of the screen. I played it anyway so I didn't have to download it. Space is really limited. It's all very simple, but playable.
Very retro LoZ arcade vibes.
Core mechanic is solid, I like it. I would have liked to see some levels with a mix of the enemy types? Not sure if there weren't any or if I just RNGed into not seeing them. I also think that from a balance perspective, the crystal enemies are disproportionately more costly to deal with. They're not more difficult but it takes a lot more time to clear all their orbs than to defeat the other enemies.
There might be some wonki-ness with the sword hitbox? I couldn't exactly tell but some stuff looked like it should have hit but then didn't.
I thought the enemy designs were nice and clearly differentiated, and the health scaling (which was kind of unclear to me at first) did a good job of making enemies more difficult to deal with. Also I liked the music, was chill.
This game was a lot of fun. Enjoyed the retro art style and the challenge of trying to clear the board while keeping my timer alive
Nice assets and music! I also like that enemies have different patterns. Quite repetitive however
a great entry, well done, really enjoyed it
A highly enjoyable game! You've achieved a delightful blend of the original Zelda and Gauntlet, crafting an immensely fun experience! While I might miss a few special effects or additional obstacles to add a bit more depth to the game, it does not detract from it being a fantastic play. Congratulations!
Really fun, it's a good idea to show the enemy health with colors because you know instantly which ones to target at first and whether you have to avoid them. Gameplay is a little rigid in my opinion, but still nice job.
I liked the different enemies and them having names. I have previously played some games where succeeding gives you extra playtime, such as some rally games for example, and this was a fitting mechanic in this game. I appreciated the different levels and enemy movement styles, although they were a little simple, it added some variation. A cool little game!
Honestly a decent game that manages to hook you up for a while. I'm not a fan of restart on death, but here randomness is done right so it feel fresh on every replay. Second level I died a few times but then got better and managed to solve it twice in a row. I just wasn't ready for the 3rd level though, never beaten the game.
Fun game. Liked the selection of enemies and their difficulty increasing each level.. The jumping ones were my favorites. Some more levels would be nice, maybe with a combination of enemies(I only completed 3 levels).
