Noice, impressive to have developed several different gameplays! Congratulations to you ! :) The handling of the ship is a little complicated, I really like the concept of reusing laid bricks Well done ! Good job! :D

destroying and building new land seems like fun

Your graphics were pretty cool, the ship handling is a little hard to control, it might be easier to control with wasd or the arrow keys, but using the blocks as fuel is neat!

You should fix bug with destroying platform on which you stand but concept cool and after fixing it will be better

Cool game! I'm impressed with how many systems you got into the game and how well they worked together. It was fun to explore the map and I thought the ships looked cool, especially the one with the skull

I liked the mechanic of stepping out of the ship to break block when the path was blocked. Smart use of the theme!d

The boss was a cool and worthy finale to the game!

So engaging! I had a great time playing it. Cool graphics and sound.

Unfortunately there were these black boxes covering the screen for me

super well made game it was good that you added the control on the screen cause I probably would have forgot in the early stages it made it so I was able to start playing and progress quickly The boss at the end was fun, I liked how I got used to playing and felt prepared to take on the boss aka I wasn't thrown off or struggled cause I had gotten used to the mechanics good scope I don't have much to critique nice game :)

Collecting blocks and redeploying them to move around, or reusing them as fuel/shields/ammunition, are very clever ideas! Although it seems difficult to "run out of space" when there are so many blocks available, haha.

It really does feel almost like two games in one. The ship handling felt a bit awkward to me, but I understand the decision to use the direction of the last acceleration to aim laser beams in order to avoid the hassle of an aim cursor. Collecting the artifacts and fighting the boss made this feel like a complete experience, which is awesome. The team did a great job!

I played 'Running Low, In Space' and really enjoyed the gameplay! The concept of managing your resources as you build and navigate is a really good challenge. The idea of collecting blocks to turn into fuel, ammo and shields is clever and requires the player to think strategically about their actions. The graphics are colorful and pleasing, and ship control gives a sense of authenticity to the movement in space. One suggestion would be to perhaps simplify or enhance the user interface a bit more to make certain elements more intuitive. Overall, it was an engaging gaming experience. Congratulations to the team!

@daniel-grinshpon Yea sorry about that, the mini map is kinda barely working so you may need to play in chrome and on the right level of zoom for it work on your device.

(The graphics glitching out might also be a Windows=good vs other platforms=bad kind of bug. Godot 4 has turned out to be quite a mixed bag of boons and curses haha)

Fun game with a tied bond of the theme limited space!

moebius 2023-10-07 12:58

Nice game, but as some other commenters already mentioned controlling the ship was really hard. Also it took me a while before I was even able to get it to fly. But I like the sound effects and the music. All in all a solid entry

After figuring out how the movements worked, I found the gam eto be pretty easy to play. The amount of blocks to reload/refill isn't a concern at all, given how many blocks are on the map and the fact that the player can hold 99 of them at a time. Great game!

I broke some blocks and built a path to my ship. On the way, some enemy ships shot at me but I retreated because I didn't know how to kill them. Arriving at my ship, I managed to move after some effort and got stuck on the side rail without being able to get out. The gameplay is a little confusing, although it's a lot made for a jam, there are some gameplay problems that spoiled the fun a little.
