Really enjoyed this little game, it was a bit tough for me though since I tried to hit enemies but I couldn't really figure out what my weapons hit box was. Good job!
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD54 → Void Hunter

Really enjoyed this little game, it was a bit tough for me though since I tried to hit enemies but I couldn't really figure out what my weapons hit box was. Good job!
Love the chaotic music. Game reminded me of game The Binding of Isaac. Really nice progression system. Solid entry! I couldn't play embeded version on LD page, but the one on itchio works flawlessly.
Loved the drawings of the enemies. So cute! Fun progression with better equipment. Tutorial could have been better. Took me some time to figure out stuff. Okay though :)
Pretty ambitious for a team of two. (We are also a two person team) You did a great job. I did't really get very far, but what I played felt solid, just a little too difficult for me. If only I had found a better weapon... preferably a ranged weapon... ANYway, I look forward to seeing more jam games from you in the future :)
the attack was way too slow. i walked into a room of like 5 monsters i hit one, then died cause i couldnt attack fast enough. with some tweaks to attack speed and balance this could be fun.
The DNB music WAS GOOD man. This was chaotic af. I wished I cool fight properly but yeah hitting with the stick is really hard :/
The attacking was very slow and did not feel like I was doing anything to the mobs. Love the look though.
Sorry, I can't beat an enemy :( And thus I could not enjoy all the rest of your game. The hitbox of the weapon is a mistery for me
Killing anything with just a stick was definitely a challenge! but getting more items made a big difference. I couldn't tell when to pick up items once my inventory was full. Turns out a full set of gear wasn't good enough for the final level. nice job, I enjoyed the style for the art.
Combat is a bit floaty and I personally believe the song should be longer to loop being this intense.
But these problems aren't that bad to deal with and I liked the, which and actually had me playing a few rounds.
Still, a clearer hitbox in the attack would do wonders.
Could not tell if I was attacking or not and died immediately.
@shiiro-10psi hey very sorry for that the weapon should swing when you're attacking, didn't it do that? because we want to take the game further some time in the future and if this bug exist we really wanna know about it.
Insanely chaotic music lol. It took me a long time to figure out how to enter the planets lol. I almost gave up. The graphics are simple, but the game is complex for just 3 days, good job. I didn't see where the game would fit into the theme, on the contrary, it is the exact location of the theme, a vast expanse of space. Still, I found it fun. The attack is a little confusing, but crazy fun, perhaps more due to the crazy atmosphere of the song.
@lincolnsalles well the space is collapsing in on itself and you have quite a small inventory so that should cover the theme, and thank you for your feedback we really worked day and night to make this game happen, we are a team of two so not a lot of people and worked like 18 hours a day so thank you for noticing the hard work feels really good:)))
Great entry! Loved the graphics and equipment system. Music was too chaotic for my taste and combat could be improved but impressive how much you got done!
Rogue like in 72 hours! I will never have time.
Nice game, liked the grind and searching for loots. The music may be a bit too intense. Some hit/got hit audio feedback would be nice. The attack animation and hitboxes sometimes felt weird, sometimes a hit knockbacks the enemy, but deals no damage, sometimes it kills them.
Grapics and Audio make this feel like a complete game, well done! The fighting seems to be just me franatically clicking the mouse, or did I made something wrong?
Graphics feel very polished and they bring the original Binding of Isaac to mind. Very neat!
The combat is ok but could benefit from slightly better visuals and feedback. Now it is quite hard to get a sense of your range and when you are hitting the enemies. Also, getting hit is hardly noticeable and I often just suddenly died without realising it. The player health bar is quite hard to read since it is not apparent which color is a fill and also it rotates with the player sprite - making it quite confusing to read.
But overall, the basic game loop is there and it is fun! The art is definitely the standout of this game - it is very well done!
The art style is so good kinda reminds me BlackthroneProd, one of my best teacher while learning unity...the gameplay is good and nicely adapted with the theme..had fun good work
Very neat art-style and overall aesthetic, I'd would love to hear some impact sounds on hitting enemies and additional sounds overall, the music was good although a bit too loud in my opinion at start. Pacing was really good and got right into the action of it.
Lovely project!
Cool game, but the combat felt a little inconsistent with many of my attacks not registering even though the animation hitting. Overall pretty fun game
Took me a long time to figure out that my attacks didn't miss, the health bars of enemies just didn't update. Very fun game! I played about 5 rounds but I just wasn't able to clear the center planet, all enemies on the map swarming to you might be a bit overkill for the last section. Either that or I took a mental debuff from the chaotic music xD Also a great fit for the theme, great job!
Firstly I don't understand why I can't attack. But game is very beautiful and fun.
It took a while to understand the objective, but I like the concept. Currently, the gameplay feels too repetitive when trying to reach the center. Some additional feedback in the attack animation with sound, screen shake would improve the experience.
The graphics are cute, and I like how cozy you made the menu look with tutorial with pictures and funny text. I think the atmosphere of the game is really fun and I was honestly excited to play it. Unfortunately, I can't seem to hit enemies :( I press left click and my weapon moves but nothing connects. Maybe it would be nice to make a simpler level at first, as a practical tutorial of sorts, where there is like 1 or 2 enemies that are slower so it is easier to figure fighting out without dying in a timely fashion?:)
@kanity heey yes we have just uploded a post-jam version its not much different but the enemy healthbars work now because that's why a lot of people thought they can't hit enemies. The enemy healthbar wasn't updating but the hit was registered. If you have time we would be glad if you gave another try to the updated version. Thanks for the feedback:))
SO ADORABLE! fighting aliens with a wooden stick HAHAHA. The art is minimalist but coherent with everything together. It's unbelievable how much work has put into this, monsters, level design, items. Good job!
Nice work, I had some problems with the attack system. The updated version is great but unfortunatelly I can't score it. Well done
Reply if the updated version was made within the 3 days😊
Nice work, hard to believe it was made in such a little time.
Cool graphic, but so hard i couldn't play, sorry
So cool, the game look really advance, and he is really fun to play
Great to see a game on the big crunch, which i feel is a great interpretation of the theme! I felt it was a bit too hard for me! But congrats anyhow!
Good game! very charming art, the gameplay and music was a bit annoying but it seemed fun.
Loot, enemies and timer. This is what it takes to make the heart beat faster. Great job.
This game is legit!
Pretty fun. I had no idea what happened in the end where the screen turned to red but before that i enjoyed it
I really liked the story that you put behind this game! It is always nice to get some immersion into the world and the game. Gameplay wise it was fun, but I had trouble choosing a level with the correct difficulty. The easier levels were nice to start with, but they became rather easy after collecting a couple of upgrades. Then I tried a harder level and got absolutely destroyed XD Maybe I am just not very good at these kinds of games.
Anyway, I think there is a lot to explore if you decide to continue developing this game. Like different enemies depending on the planet you choose and the difficulty. Or maybe different maps. Very solid submission! Well done :D

not sure what's happening, or if I'm doing something wrong, but the game keeps freezing on this screen when I open the inventory. if it's a bug and you know about it or if you know what I'm doing wrong @ me if you have a solution  I'll refrain from voting in the mean while since that does not seem fair
Cool game, I like how much you did with the roguelike parts in such a small amount of time. I had fun playing, nice work!
The game looks pretty good, but I haven't been able to figure out how to attack: I've pressed the left button, on the stage, on the character, on an enemy... I also had a hard time understanding how to get out of the inventory, but I managed it hahahaha. I think that with a good polish in user experience it could be good, but I haven't been able to play it :(
I had a fairly hard time playing this game. The web version was kinda borked for me, it wouldn't detect attack button presses. Not sure if I played the original or updated desktop version, but running through WINE (on linux) it had some weird quirks such as detecting my attack click on release instead of on press, which would have been more intuitive. And the enemy health bars didn't seem to change at all. It seemed like it was possible to heal with items like the banana, but I couldn't figure out how to use it so I never managed to get past the first planet. Also my intuition was to start in the center, until I realized the edge was the easier planets.
@simex you just have to click out haha and the game continues:)))
Despite the simple mechanics, this game is thoughtful and addictive!
Interesting game.
