Ok, I'm a sucker for FNAF like games, but then you also pulled a SAW thing with the actual narration, so I was immediately into it. The art is great and the characters are super cute, even when they're killing me (the faces in the door are actually scary though).
I like the concept a lot though I found it quite difficult to actually win. Like, guarding myself with doors was fine but in terms of the actual puzzles I really felt like I was just clicking random things (I got a flashlight or something at one point? but I had no clue how to use it). This could just be a skill issue though, everything was put together super solidly so I'm sure the solutions are good if I could find them.
omg that pig freaking me out
Thanks, I had a heart attack because of the pig hahahahaha)))))
Awesome little fnaf inspired game! The art is fantastic and the general concept is pretty captivating. Would love seeing something like this but expanded.
I'm so bad at horror games that I had to quit after two heart attacks. Horrible. Gotta keep those doors closed
oh gowd! scared the shit out of me!
Really great art! I think I kept accidentally cancelling the audio on the phone call though? Clicking on it made it stop, so it took a few attempts before I ended up hearing the message.
I wanted SO BADLY to figure this game out (or even part of it). I tried like, 6 different times over the last week to make some progress of any kind, but I'm absolutely stumped! It's puzzly as hell, which kept me coming back, while the terrors within push me away. Maybe after some time I'll try again. It would be cool to see how you approach this kind of game outside of a jam with some extra playtesting to help fine-tune the puzzles! Incredible artwork and nice audio skills. This definitely belongs in the Aplovvare collection. Well done!
Man, I really didn't like this cheap scare, I didn't even create an atmosphere, it's like one of those videos where a horrible face appears with a shrill sound, that's like an appeal. I'm playing in the early hours of the morning and I already had a scare like that 20 years ago that traumatized me to this day in certain ways, so I didn't think it was funny. I think this is really appealing game design. I have trauma with these faces that explode with this shrill scream. What a bad experience. And I like horror games and everything, but that sounded bad
I managed to escape but without opening the safe - just by guessing the rest of the word puzzle. I really liked the flat art style and the designs of the characters were really cool. I did accidentally skip the intro call by clicking something.
I like the design of the rooms and the audio in the beginning a lot. The puzzles look intriguing as well but after two jumpscares I quit because I could for the life of me not figure out how to fend the animatronics off and would have needed more time to figure out the puzzles lol. I'm not sure if the gameplay is just more obvious for people familiar with FNAF, but I think a little tutorial in the beginning would be very helpful!
haha this was very fun. puzzles were well designed, art is super clean as usual. very nice :) oh wait yeah after reading the comments i realized i also didnt open the safe, i just inferred the rest of the word puzzle. may have to investigate further.
Edit: ok tried it again and got through all the puzzles as intended. couple of things i noticed: - there's no sprite for just the screwdriver head, so opening the toolbox and getting the screwdriver doesnt let you open the vent unless you also happen to click the pot - you can get the scissors again by clicking on the box after using them - the safe had me a bit confused because i tried starting by going right, since that's the direction you turn dials on combination locks. but i did get it eventually, and to be fair the numbers go in the right direction anyway. (i just now realized what the colors are meant to mean, while writing out a bad suggestion) - sometimes i get stuck in a weird state where the screen stays blank but i can still get killed. every 5th or so try i just have to sit and wait until it decides to let me play.
otherwise, the rest of the puzzles were also good!
