Cool concept but has issues with the enemy not pathfinding properly and the walk being delayed.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD54 → The Darkest Of Maze

Pretty good atmosphere for a horror game. Enjoyed the playthrough on medium, but also only saw the monster once but guess I could play on a higher difficulty then. Liked the glitchy sounds.
Nice atmosphere! I had a very tense moment where I was missing 3 orbs and the monster/glitchy wall was right behind me. I managed to escape and win in the end :)
I beat Flash mode on normal and it was pretty tense! I think a little quicker cooldown on the flash would be reasonable and still spooky. Nice game!
Great mood and tension in this one! The film grain, limited flashlight distance, and sound effects do a nice job of selling the claustrophobic and eerie sensation. It took me a minute to get used to the player momentum, but after a while it was fun "drifting" around corners to grab the next orb without losing speed. Well done!
The flashlight mode was great! Nice atmosphere and especially nice sound effects!
Scary game, I liked the sounds. The controls were a little weird
Great atmosphere and tension building! The player momentum was unexpected, but fun after getting used to it.
The 'E' was truly terrifying! E E E E E E E E :O
Nice atmosphere
First I want to congratulate you for making a game by yourself. It really is something admirable. Secondly, the limited space is really claustrophobic. You used the theme well. I have a hard time liking first person games. Maybe it's because I have motion sickness and get dizzy, but I remember playing Pacman 3D, which is more or less that game. And I say that not being able to run is desperate. Both to escape the monster and to find the balls. Maybe you can put a stamina and running mechanic in a future version.
I liked the really small space. The red thing initially scared me a little, but then I realized that it always walked in a specific direction and wasn't chasing me, I even started walking behind it to avoid dying... sad.jpg
A good game made me feel nostalgic for the old ps2 games
Overall a solid game, would have liked accessibility features over like additional game modes, for example turning off head bobbing and changing the footstep volume.
Definitely good mood, felt very spooky. I would have liked some indicator where orbs were.
