It’s very loud, I can't turn down or turn off the music. This is disturbing. The player went off the screen, and I couldn’t see where they are. I like the idea with the limited number of jumps. But I don’t understand. It would be good to have some power-ups to increase the number of jumps.

@oznarox Mainly was made just so I could play and rate other people's games, was working all weekend. Thanks for your time.

Some issues with camera but the music slaps and the running/wall jumping animations are slick.

unfinished632 2023-10-03 16:56

The camera doesn't work properly which makes me wonder if you even playtested this but the music and the animations are nice

2023-10-03 16:56

Great job on adding music! That's something I often forget about in my game jams.

leo-lin 2023-10-03 16:57

Hm, some camera issues, and I can't jump/attack anymore after playing this for one minute.

prutty 2023-10-03 17:00

This is a great concept, but yeah, it's nothing much more. It has a lot of potential, the animations look great, and the music is a banger, and with a little more work it could've been a fun game. I'll see ya next Ludum, if you are not working ;)

babaorhum 2023-10-03 18:46

I can see the potential of the game, I find it very funny that you have the possibility to throw your weapon and it comes back like a boomerang!

langotriel 2023-10-12 23:46

One of the most literal and fun interpretations of the theme! I managed to jump onto all 3 platforms and kill all monsters so I am counting that as a win ;)

dk5000p 2023-10-15 13:50

@langotriel Thanks for playing again. I hope I actually made a good game one of these times.

lastuck 2023-10-20 11:49

The base gameplay is nice! I really like the feeling of the animations and the music, and the jump limitation is a good idea for the theme! The camera doesn't follow the player correctly tho and I guess you didn't have enough time to make levels, but still good job for submitting it, I'm pretty sure you can make something cool in the future!

dk5000p 2023-10-20 11:53

@lastuck Thank you for playing. Yeah not sure why cinemachine ended up giving me an issue this time, usually it works without much issue, not sure if it was a recent update that changed options.

dk5000p 2023-10-20 18:42

@babaorhum Thanks for playing. I did like the concept I was going for, time is just always difficult.

dk5000p 2023-10-20 18:42

@prutty Thanks for taking time to play.

lincolnsalles 2023-10-20 22:28

As they said, the camera is locked to the left, it doesn't center on the player when moving forward. The sound is loud but it looks like rock, rock is cool. Like you said, it was like a test, right?

dk5000p 2023-10-21 04:09

@lincolnsalles I just like submitting in order to rate other people's games. Thanks for playing. Yeah, just have not had as much time as I would like.

lincolnsalles 2023-10-21 17:52

@dk5000p Yes, I understand, I know what it's like because I couldn't even put the sound in, and I actually only did 10% of what I intended, so I only had a piece of some piece of something. Actually evaluating other games was so cool, right? It seems like I had as much fun as making a game. I realized that ludum dare is very much about community involvement, it is not an individual experience but a collective one.

laserpanzerwal 2023-10-21 17:55

It doesn't really seem to be working. I got a knight that can jump the (obviously) limited number of times, sometimes a zombie passes by that I can stab in a multitude of ways that dont matter as they die on the first hit and dont seem to be doing any damage to me. There are platforms that I can jump on but have no use and if I try to walk to the right the camera doesnt follow and I eventually wander off screen. I have no idea what to do in this game. It also only "works" on this page, the other link to itch.io throws an error.
