I love this game, the twist is great! Good job!
Incredible concept and well executed !
Good game!
love the effects! also YOOOOOOO we did the same twist LMAO
this is sick! we both had the same idea of moving the screen! i love that yours changes the name of the application to show the HUD and level name, as well as little remarks, sometimes it's a bit annoying not being able to see around so it'd be nice if the window was a *little* bigger but generally it's really solid!
Genius! I'm impressed the first moment seeing the window frame is moving! I was wondering why is it so small and not movable lol! Smooooth!
Enjoyed playing this!
Such a unique play on the theme, when i first started playing i didn't know what to expect but the read the title of the window and was like "Oh yeah cool" then once i fell down the hole is when i quite literally exclaimed "Yooooo". bravo
Nice game
Such a cute game and a very nice use of the windows !
cuute! love ur take on the theme
Great game! Limited view window is awesome. Make tricky to navigate through levels. Salty hints in window title is hilarious xD But enemy projectile is hard to see, and there is no other indication of enemy attack except sound.
OK, so this game might need a display resolution but, it is still an innovative approach that the game program's window itself moves. That generates creative theme implementation. Awesome!
it was gooood
hahah, love the dying sound effect ! also interesting idea with the window movement
I don't know how you did that, but it plays off of the theme so well. Simply amazing creativity.
woahhh this is a cool project! very cool usage of the theme :) only critique is that the enemy bullets are really hard to see
Really cool concept! Gameplay is fun and the level design is interesting with the limited window space. I did get stuck on the boss, I couldn't tell if it just had a ton of health or if my hits weren't doing anything, so I let it hit me and it restarted the game
Very cool idea, it's nice how you play with the window and the comments on the window title were funny. I found a couple of bug though: after a couple of death (more like 10 probably) the window started getting bigger at respawn and it wouldn't move, making it impossible to proceed. Also I'm not sure if it was wanted but the first time I went through the first door I ended up in the second level, while the second time I ended up in a bossfight. I don't know if that was randomized but the window glitched a bit when loading the second level, so maybe it skipped the bossfight by mistake. Anyway very nice game!
I saw from your post that you need someone to butcher your game, so here goes....
Nah actually your game is . For me, I just felt like the game was very difficult. Maybe I suck idk, but it would be interesting to have some more introductory levels at the start or something, that would be my main feedback. Oh and adding those extra player feedback or particles or visual feedback can help improve the feel as well if you'd like to improve on it. Aside from that, the usage of the windows and even changing window names is very clever. The jumping and movement I think feels pretty spot on. Great work!
I thought it was a problem with the screen only opening a part. I even downloaded the other version, but it was only when I jumped to start that I discovered the joke. It's very incredible and I don't know how it did it, but in practice, although it fits the theme very well, it makes it impossible to play properly, because I don't know what's underneath and I'm going to die or get lucky. It seems to be pure luck. It's interesting but I don't know if I could play this in practice for a long time. But appropriate to the theme.
Awesome game! Cool mechanic!
The twist is very effective! Quite a hard game, yet it's possible to progress by being very patient ^^
Maybe making the opponents' projectiles more visible could help a lot (like big red circle but with same small collider, instead of tiny dots with the color of the sky).
