The art is really surreal and jarring, and the animations do not flow..
I fed the baby, but is there an end implemented? how do I know when I won?
Id recommend removing the unneeded fruits entirely to make it more clear what fruits are currently needed.

Also obscuring the player view on when about to lose makes it harder to play, maybe a different indicator would have worked better.

The music is nice and fits the game, and I like the concept of planting trees to feed a hungry god.

This game is weird ... which might not be a bad thing :)
It creates an interesting mood.
Maybe it needs more feedback for player.
And it also needs a reason for feeding that baby.

That was really MY kind of weird! I was really hooked until I finally got to the end. Really simple and well crafted. The music kind of gets on your nerves after a while, but I get what you were going for.
As someone else already told you, blocking the players view was not a very cool idea. Maybe just darkening the screen in a less drastic manner would have been more efficient (maybe even the same thing but with lower opacity?) or some other kind of indicator.
Basically loved it. Keep up the good work!

Interesting game! I included it in my compilation video series of Ludum Dare 36, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/iJTT4Yba0N8

Fantastic graphics, music, mood and quirkiness. It was really hard after a while, the stone face seems to require a lot of it servant. I think I got to about 25 seconds left on the timer, and I would really have liked to see what happened in the end... but so hard. I wouldn't change anything but maybe make it a little bit easier to win, if it was the intent that the player should be able to win. I'm all for games that can't be won, so don't get me wrong. Also if one could have the clock burn through the darkness as one looses so one actually gets to know how good or bad one did so that one got a sense of progress from time to time (or not). But then again, maybe it is actually better as it is too. After playing this I feel a bit sad that we did such a normal game this time, when several times we've made stuff looking like this one. Which is to say: very very good stuff, I liked it a lot!

What an excellent little game! I loved the mood the peaceful music provided to such an otherwise frantic experience, it really added to the surreal atmosphere! It took me quite a while, but I eventually figured out the pattern to beat it. (Did you run out of time for the ending, though?) Simple, challenging, and interesting, this has to be one of my favourite games this jam!
