This was strangely charming. I initially found the player movement disturbing, but after a short while, I started giving him a sort of doofy sort of personality. I can't help but get a Stardew valley vibe from it. The music is what really sold it. Good work!
@jcsirron thanks for the nice review. I had neither the experience nor the time to animate the character properly. Which is by no means an excuse for his awkward gait. I'm glad you decided on a doofy personality. It's the advise I gave family and friends: just imagine he's going for a position at the ministry of silly walks C:.
This game is very relaxed and peaceful, and even the fighting seemed very relaxing. Both the music and graphics makes me feel very happy. The only complain I have is that it super difficult to see how much health I have left, when I am in the fighting mode. Overall a very great LD game. Well done.
