I've been following you since LD39 and your games are always INCREDIBLY detailed! And well xD didn't expect any less xD insanely detailed game as always. I've no idea how you manage this. I also really love your art style. Nice audio as well xD game is really cool! Well made and very in depth and detailed!

I defeated the cactus! The scorpions got me, it took me too long to get my burger ready. In the fighting I had a bit of a problem to aim at enemies because of the info overlays. The caravan can go off road, is that on purpose?

Cool concept, you really have to do the cooking quickly before enemies get to you and you have to balance quality of your burgers and how much time do you spend on preparing them. After first attempts the best strategy for me was to get away from enemies with my one move per turn and meanwhile just prep decent burgers and deploy them at once. But man, this is freaking hard, prepping takes a lot of time (animations showing how to cut something etc could be sped up IMO) and if you look away from your deployed soldiers too long, well they are going to bite the dust. The game is really fun and well designed but could use some balancing. I like how there is a lot of different mechanics for preparing different ingredients and there is quite a lot of different enemies. Graphics are very pretty, the 3d rendering is impressive. To be honest if the game didn't have such steep learning curve or there would be different difficulty levels (probably just making turns longer) it would be much more approachable / easier to get into. But still very impressive game and you definitely nailed the theme.
Excellent as always dude! Keep it up!
This was a pretty frustrating experience. There was no clear indicator to me how much longer I'd have to tenderize, and the tooltips would come and then go away without me really knowing what was going on. I still have no idea what is happening with the tomato. I deployed burgers, but they didn't seem to do anything. The music was good for the feel of the area, but very distracting/overpowering when trying to internalize what I needed to do.

Wow, this is an awesome idea! Cooking as fast as I can to deploy my burger warriors, something I never thought I'd experience in a game. The details in this game made me really happy, like how the sound of the burger cooking got quiet when you moved to the battle screen and loud again when you went back to cooking. The controls for moving between screens felt a little sluggish, especially for a game that's about being frantic. This is my favorite game so far, though. Very awesome.
Just out of curiosity, how did you render your graphics? It looks kind of like a faux-3D technique I learned a while ago involving layers of 2D sprites, but I can't be sure. Whatever it is it turned out really nice.
A little more work on explaining the game and improving the controls will help. It was frustrating to continually click on the burger and nothing happens. Still I like the idea and willl probably try it again. nice job.

Nice idea, there's a great mood there . Reminded me a lot of Gunman Taco Truck. There's a lot going on there, Kudos for managing it all in such little time.

Very cool, but also frustrating. It is an amazingly beautiful game, but I feel like I'm missing out because I don't know how to play it. A short video of you playing through the scorpion fight would do wonders.
You're a very good designer and pack games with a ton of impressive features! A few quirks with the UI and the timers still showing during tutorial, but to be expected in a LD (they weren't broke, just was a bit confusing to a new player! the ui thing - i mean that it seems like you can click on an action when the dialog menu is up, but the click just dismisses it, so then you end up having to click again). I didn't have enough time to truly experiment in the kitchen, but really enjoyed the different mechanics you added - really blended that cooking game theme to it. I've seen some "cooking" games where you just click once and you have food and that was it - this really felt like you took the mechanics of both genres and blended them :D Good work!

Pretty good amount of polished, and a very interesting game to play, although you may want to work more on explanation. All in all, this is an excellent entry, which I'm surprised does not have much ratings.
Wow, this is impressive. Excellent idea, fun gameplay and just overall great. Although I would suggest for the menu and buttons and stuff to transition instantaneously since it feels kinda slow sometimes that you have to wait for the transition to be finished before you can do anything. Also, carrot, patty, cucumber and tomato all take to long to prepare for of such little value. I won most of my games by spam raw sauce burgers and mutt burgers-with only sauce and salt on it. I'm sure that if you had more time though, you'd be able adjust everything to be just right.
Nice game, mixing cooking and turn base RPG. Check out my let's play!
