It was my first year, so I hadn't thought to check my comments after Ludum ended! XD I've had a few requests, so I'll be doing a Windows build today! :)

I wasn't sure how to upload source code, so I uploaded my Unity project file. :)
while there's a bunch of sounds and music in there (as placeholders), all the music and art included in the game was made by me. :)

I love the music! Pretty cute game overall. :) I couldn't seem to Dash tho.
I'm a writer and this will perfectly get me over my writer's block. :P The only thing I wish was that there was a difficulty setting, cause some of those prompts were too hefty to write in 10 seconds. But I guess it did make it funny in the end.
TIP: The Web is just too tall, so I never noticed the timer bar at the bottom. Maybe move it to the top so it's easier to know how much time you have?
Whenever I left click, I don't have any ingredients or instructions to cook with. I went over to the special ingredients, the fridge, and the table, but it said the same thing. Where can I pick up ingredients?
I don't know if it's just the Mac build, but it's kinda laggy. Even hitting the notes pretty darn close didn't work. :/ Had to hit about 2-3 off-beats early. Pretty though!

Um.... First of all, I guess I don't get the "Single Date". WASD and arrow keys didn't work, but that's good though, because nothing ever hit the middle of the screen? So..... That was kinda boring.
I liked the idea behind the gameplay of the normal mode, but I don't know if it was more than one level, because it was incredibly hard to line it up with the yellow line, and then I didn't have time to move out of the way of the arrows when he tried to kill me (and he succeeded all 5 times I tried). So I kinda gave up.
Good music though.
Ooooh. That makes a lot more sense. I thought it was futile. XD

Looks gorgeous. I might play sometime when I have my controller, because the keyboard controls look a bit too complicated for me.

I'm halfway done with the Inability to Swim, Quests to complete to gain levels, Talking to townsfolk, and Stronger enemies! But I hope you enjoy it for now!

@memel06 Thank you! I used a free asset off the Unity Asset store by Fancy Lizard Studio. XD But I would love to make my own music for the game! That's exactly what I'm going for!! :D I'm really looking forward to adding more content and perfecting gameplay!
@darkanice I'm hoping to add some more concepts by the end of the jam in 9 hours! :) I started this game technically a day late, so it's not too exciting yet, I know :p
Thanks, and I'll let you know when the full version is up @gavin-camlin! -The player dies if he tries to defeat a baddie that has a higher level than him. I just added that to the game. ^-^
-The small towns will soon have more characters in it, and if you return to the city, the girl will talk with you about random stuff and suggest missions and items to find! Working on that now!
-Leveling up currently only changes your Level (top right) and your Title (top left). You grow from the Baker's Son, to Adventurer, to Knight, to Hero.
-I also just added progressive leveling up, so it's harder to gain levels. :) In about 5 hours, I should have the last Ludum build up, hopefully with two or three items/missions!

@fernando-labarta @darylsteak, thanks for playing! There's a lot of room for growth, but I have a LOT more planned to be added to it in the next week or so, including several quests and more characters. Now that I have the base code down for how that works, it'll be a lot easier to add more!
@gavin-camlin thanks for revisiting the game and giving more feedback! I will definitely add more effects to character damage (it has a sound, but it turned out way quieter than it should be). Interesting on Combat. I guess I kept it as simple as possible for now. I'll put some thought into it and see what I can do! I'll @ you if the itchio upload gets updated.

@redhatto I agree, a unified pixel count looks better. But when dealing with a single-screen open world, I definitely needed space on the map. It'll make more sense when I add the country borders, why the castle needs to be so small, but the character needs to be big enough to see. :)

Pretty cute!!
The blipblaps were pretty endearing with a funky heffalump look. XD The turn-based was fun and entertaining. Audio was ok.
TIPS: I couldn't tell anyone had scored. Maybe a better sound or a single animation to feel a bit more victory? I'd like to be able to hold my position at the opponent's net instead of having to shoot or pull back.

Got to 39 mice. :3 I do love cat games. <3 I liked the background (very easy to see mice on) and I liked the health counter
TIPS: Could you add, in the instructions, that escaping mice makes you lose a life? I didn't get that until the second time I played. It could use some sound :)

So, firstly: It's a little small, windowed on a mac. But I worked with it. :) It was pretty fun, really creative, and the audio dings were helpful! the UI was pretty great too. Simple, but conveyed enough info for me.
The funny part, is I got stuck here, waiting for that helicopter enemy to come to my side of the screen, so I could sneak past him, but I couldn't get him to. So I didn't make it past that part. :P But it was still very fun and I'd play it again sometime!Screen Shot 2018-04-22 at 10.49.19 PM.png

Played through level 12. Adorable and hilarious! From level 6-9, I only got one monster each level. Then level 10 got harder. Is there a lose-condition?

Good concept, but the screen resolution isn't quite right for Mac. You should probably also write the controls/gameplay on your itchio page. :)

After I reached the end of the tutorial, though, the screen went white and I could jump, but nothing ever faded back in? (I played the mac build link, online without downloading it.)

It works! Definitely great music, and cute characters, world, and concept. It was really hard to remember which key was which color, and by the time I looked at the lineup at the bottom, I forgot about the monster trying to kill me, and the rhythm. XD But it was fun though.

Took me a moment, but that was rather fun. Cute idea, and it's awesome to see someone making a board game in Ludum. :)
First of all, as a Soduku lover, this game is FLIPPING AMAZING and so much fun!! The health level is good, a little forgiving. The theme is a very fun mix of Soduku and Shoot Em Up. And it's incredibly challenging, even for one who can do sudoku in pen. XD
TIPS: -It definitely needs music or at least sound. -I went to the main menu to restart, started a new game, and suddenly I couldn't move? So I force quit and went back in.
Great job though! I'll keep this on my computer to play during work. XD hehe. I mean, *after* work.
I had most of the same problems as @vyolfers. When the game started, the music got loude. Every time I turned around to mix a drink, my mouse clicked outside the window, making it hard to look around in the game-screen. The mouse speed was also incredibly fast. A few kinks, But still, a good game.
Not quite sure how to get it from github. Thinking of doing a Mac build? It looks like fun!

Finally got to play on Mac! Haha. You're right. That was crazy hard. I think it's a little fast, and didn't really have any instruction to it, but when I got the hang of it, it felt like my real work week. XD
