I'm a writer and this will perfectly get me over my writer's block. :P The only thing I wish was that there was a difficulty setting, cause some of those prompts were too hefty to write in 10 seconds. But I guess it did make it funny in the end.
TIP: The Web is just too tall, so I never noticed the timer bar at the bottom. Maybe move it to the top so it's easier to know how much time you have?

Thank you! This game is based on an exercise I did in my creative writing class, except that one was less funny (and on paper). I'm planning to make a post-compo version that is less "ridiculous" and maybe actually helpful, as well as making a windows/mac build of it.
Nice one Gabe! I love it. It has shown me how much of a writing genius I am.
I have written an episode of The Big Band Theory.

I love the idea by the way, I'd love to see it expanded upon (or given a "Tweet Story" button).

So confusing :) When I finally wrote something and heard a voice, that was a bit shocking. I don't really understand what you've made, but I won't forget it at least :)
It was definitely funny. Not much to it beyond that, but it was a fun little thing to play.
Hahaha this was a pretty interesting concept, and definitely a unique game. Good job! All I wrote for a romantic episode of friends was "Ross and Rachel"
I'm not really understanding this i guess - what 2 genres did you combine?
I was grinning the entire time. Brilliant idea! Only thing I wish there was, would be a game show soundtrack going in the background. The kind that are played during time-restrained answers. That would make the 10 seconds even better!

@Rocktavious I think the idea is that the prompts combine two separate genres that are frequently contrasting (like "Thriller episode of Friends").
Hey, this is neat. :) One of the more unique takes on LD41's theme.

Very stressful to write something in 10 seconds!
Haha, really fun game!

Funny little game. Anime story about the pope -> Popes 2nd Hentai Adventure. xD

I enjoyed this more than I should have
This is kind of like a miniature version of Ludum Dare, where one has to create something under intense time pressure. Unfortunately I found that 10 seconds is barely enough time to type a meaningful sentence, let alone a script. Sometimes I just draw a blank and give up, other times I'm able to come up with an interesting image. I agree with the folks above who suggest more time or more difficulty levels. Still it was fun and it gave my imagination a good workout.
I like the idea a lot, it's a fun tool for creative excercise, I just feel the 10 seconds is by far not enough. I would love to use it on a daily basis to train my mind, but more options would be welcome.
Cool idea, probably useful to the more creative folks than me all i got was a few replays of me typing swearwords and hearing the guy say them back for giggles :cat: Nice entry!
This was great, I really wish it would have showed the story together with the prompt at the end so I could screen shot some funny responses in context

Thanks for creating this game! I laughed for a long time writing shenanigans! LOL!
I liked the concept, but the time needs to be increased to about a minute? Or maybe have different modes. This is less about writing a script but more about writing a title or a short description. Nevertheless, glad to see you working on it further!
Interesting concept. It's like an inversion of perspective, making the game a kind of LD. Good job here!
