Nice idea. Good mechanism. It's a good example to explain the theme in the perspective of mech. I really love the atmosphere the game exhibit. It's sad but stubborn. However, the mechanism is emphasized too much but I would like to see more detailed story telling in the game(Am I asking too much?). Good job ~

@luther-1 Thank you for your long comment. I'm so happy that this game can give you fun and, maybe, some inspiration. Also thank you to point out the issues in control and the mechanism. Well, I have to say that, this time, I only focus the on the story telling and ignore most of the bugs in contorl/mechanism (because of the lack of time). I'm using the unity standard first-person control plugin. It sucks. LOL~ hope you have fun in this jam~

It's a really cool game.....if it's your first LD. Please ignore the followning comment if you don't want to see critism.

It seems the graphics and music got highly focused. They are cool, obvirously, but not in a comfortable way. The sound effect is cool, but it does little on helping the player to distinguish different damge effect. The characters are cool, but they are always the same, while their level changed. A simple change in scale or color can help to point out the difference between different levels. The sacrifice mechanism - which is cool - become totally useless because of the urgent gameplay and the hard-to-click upgrade buttons. I cannot handle leveling up and killing elements in the same time. Maybe a waiting phase can be added?

A really good try to make your own music though.

Can somebody just tell me what's in the end? I can ... not ... finish ... the ... game. It's too hard for me.

Nice color choice. I really appriciate the red color. And I can see the level design of the last level(maybe?) has some story telling. I can feel the attachment from the character. Well, the control is designed to be hard to explain the difficulty of the character's life. And it really matches the theme.

I'm thinking about the connection between the gameplay and selling blood. It a little bit ambiguous. the gameplay tells me that you should finish the task(sell your blood) in time. But the reference novel is about you have to sell your blood. The connection is a little bit weak. And I doubt if the gameplay really helps to tell the story (especially for the non-hard-core player like me)

pro : the art, I like the pure white little house, also the control is simple. There are some interesting small narratives in the game, like the little man will hit the wall. The new man will come with a question mark.

con : I fail to understand the mechanism in the beginning. (It would be better if simple tips presented.) Also some low-res images ruin the atmosphere. I don't know if the angry emoji is a bug or not. Overall, the theme is vague - if it is the game suppose to have. There are a lot of stuffs in my brain. But please help me to dig it out~

Really cool spaceship simulation game!!! I like the background sound and the environment setting. I really like the fighting! But it seems the number of bullets is limited. So that I feel the best stratgy is to steal the energy and run. It's confused that firing the missile can give you bullets. Also, I like the 10 seconds heal in the base. But it is a little bit boring when you waiting in the base. Could I make bullets or upgrade my weapon when I stay in the base?

I really like the give up or keep going chooice. It seems like the TV show game(in a good way I mean), and makes me feel exciting. Also the core gameplay is well done. I enjoy seeing the bullets flying across the screen. And don't worry about the UI. The minimalism works fine.
