I really like how you handled the theme. Very unique. The game did crash a few times for me, I think when killing a fire guy, but it wasn't a big deal. Good job!
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD44 → Mahouflask

I got a crash, but it was a neat idea! SEemed like the damage ratios could be adjusted and maybe some different sounds for attacks, or some variations! Nice work!
yooo
@ghostgoatsgames @generalbeans Thanks for playing, webgl crash has been fixed
goood game, very cool music
I didn't really get if the damages changed depending of the element but the game was pretty cool, the music pump you through the game !
Cool music and cute characters! Good Job ~
It's a really cool game.....if it's your first LD. Please ignore the followning comment if you don't want to see critism.
It seems the graphics and music got highly focused. They are cool, obvirously, but not in a comfortable way. The sound effect is cool, but it does little on helping the player to distinguish different damge effect. The characters are cool, but they are always the same, while their level changed. A simple change in scale or color can help to point out the difference between different levels. The sacrifice mechanism - which is cool - become totally useless because of the urgent gameplay and the hard-to-click upgrade buttons. I cannot handle leveling up and killing elements in the same time. Maybe a waiting phase can be added?
A really good try to make your own music though.
Very lovely graphic, I like it! The three element's combat system is fun, and the level-up system is cool but hard to use by control keyboard without a friend's helping HAHA, jiayou!
@atwooooooood @zitao-ye thank for you playing~you can also upgrade elements with the U/I/O button on the keyboard~XD
I liked it a lot! I think the speed at which enemies come hurts the strategy of the game a bit; when the enemies are coming so quickly it's hard to plan out upgrades strategically or handle all the information on screen. Maybe if the difficulty ramped up slower you'd give players a chance to get used to using the upgrades instead of having them overwhelmed from the beginning.
I had a bit of fun with this one.
Might I suggest using the contents of the flask to indicate health?
The enemies may arrive a little too quickly. The soundtrack does not vary but the game is really nice to play Very fun;)
The gameplay is simple and fun. The graphics is pretty good, and I liked the music, but perhaps the music was a bit too intense for the gameplay. Overall a fine LD game.
Initially I didn't see the letters to cast the spells but I figured it out. I assume that specific spells were better against the weak element, but I am not sure. I liked the artwork and it played well enough.
I love the music in this! It's soooo pretty. Maybe a little loud but ah well. It's hard to read the cost of the magic. It was fun to discover that each spell only works on certain enemies. Nicely done!\
Edit: Especially love the game over music. The sound effects are kind of intense but are nice feedback in the game.
Really fun game! I like the fast paced gameplay and upgrade mechanics a lot, although it was almost a bit too fast paced for me, considering you have to choose the correct attack for each enemy type. The artstyle is very nice! Really enjoyed playing this, good job! PS: About audio: It seems like you used audio from another source (the urls suggest this), this is not really made clear and you haven't opted out of audio, so I'm a bit confused, could you clarify this?
Funny game, maybe could be a bit bigger the field so you can use better the space. Great job, mate.
