Certainly looks interesting, sound could have made it a but better. And it was a lot of reading before you could start and a lot to remember.

robowarrior1982 2018-04-23 07:42

Interesting, it's a little lack of speed, with that and finished graphics could be really more fun!

benpeterson 2018-04-23 07:56

This is insanely complicated but I love eating the cats

gemberkoekje 2018-04-23 09:29

This was kinda confusing, you probably picked up a bit TOO many ideas and mashed them together. The cat eating was so funny though, even though I worried about the cats safety /o\

memel06 2018-04-23 09:59

Nice try, it surely lacks some graphics or tuning due to jam time, but is, in fact, a funny and stable product.

Thanks for your work :>

I like how it has every game mechanic

javasaurus 2018-04-23 10:29

Interesting concept, allthough there is a lot of reading going on (multiple times) before understanding what the goal of the game is, good job though ! :)

spthiel 2018-04-23 10:47

Good concept, the clicker part is not present enough in my opinion though Also I feel like the recource gathering is way to slow. And at last the zombies often get stuck since they are taller than one block and they should attack you if you attack them + call for backup since the way it's done atm you just have to stand a bit away from them and you can't die

vidsneeze 2018-04-23 10:59

Good game. kinda hard to keep my animals from wrecking the place, the beginning instructions are a little too much before playing. I skipped them and just opened them when i needed help. With the shooting i'm not sure if there was a timer for when i could shoot next.

So, the wall of text and concepts at the beginning have reminded me of that time in Undertale where Papyrus explains his extremely complicated puzzle to you. I wasn't able to find the optimal strategy here - gathering resources is too slow, I can't actually have any cats working, because they are out of their cages all the time. Also, as mentioned above, the game could really use some sound. Still, a great entry!

temmy 2018-04-23 16:16

Cats everywhere.

mintarcade 2018-04-23 17:32

Nice game, I was planning to play it for 5 min and then, 30 minutes later ... :cat: and :dog:

morphine 2018-04-23 22:10

I am actually really surprised at the amount of mechanics you managed to squeeze into this within 48 hours! Wow, well done.

kunonooni 2018-04-23 22:13

I will echo what most have already said. I too closed the instructions and only opened when I need to find out something.

Firing the gun is too slow and a visual indication of when I can fire next would have been night.

Resource gathering is really slow, I would have lowered the amount you got and had it be part of the clicker side of the game like energy is. Say every 10 clicks, chops down a tree or breaks the stone or the wall.

The lack of sound and music makes the game feel a little empty and doesn't immerse the player into your game. I'm assuming the lack of time is why there is no sounds or music.

The graphics are subjective and by that I mean either the player will love/like them or they wont. Personally I didn't find anything wrong with them.

All in all you have a good idea here and it just needs to be fleshed out a little more and polished up a bit. Good job in completing your game!

thanks everyone for feedback, really appreciate it)

Nice work man!

tomdeal 2018-04-25 09:34

Nice game! There is more depth to it than it seems at the beginning. Also I like the robot/vehicle. But one thing that really drives me crazy is the animation speed when it picks up something. That needs to be faster, it kills a lot of the drive. I kept changing to the cage view while the animation played to have something to do in the meantime :-) Otherwise a fun game.

sh1rogane 2018-04-25 17:25

Good work on the game. Many mechanics, maybe one to much :P Overall it felt good but it was a tad too slow for my taste. Loved the "eating" animation

theamazingb 2018-04-26 02:35

Like a lot of people, i feel like t was too complicated

alleskapaul 2018-04-26 11:21

It took me a while before I really understood what to do, the tutorial text could have be a lot shorter. I think it was better if you added an interactive tutorial that explains the game steps by step instead of all the info at the start. The AI was a bit funky if you stay away far enough you can easily kill them without them ever trying to attack you, perhaps let them attack you once they get shot. Overall it was a pretty complete game (apart from the music) with a lot of gameplay, well done.

drskort 2018-04-26 14:38

Really nice game ! Great idea and nice gameplay but sometimes it was too hard for me ;c still great idea ;)

lereveur 2018-04-26 21:07

This game is not the state of the art, but I must confess that I played it way more longer than I had expected. And ending with all walls down, 71 cats, 70 dogs, 275k+ energy, and 1k+ discs, I feel like I somehow "win" the game. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: Good job!

lerg 2018-04-26 21:58

Another clicker! Can you add a video or better mac/html5 version?

beamkirby 2018-05-07 23:25

This is the kind of game where you really only get back what you put into it; it's basically just a grinding game. It starts out really slow, but if you manage your resources well, you can gather over 100 cats (and a few dogs) and basically wipe out the entire field just by mashing the mouse button all over the place. Tbh, I spent like an hour on this game. There is certainly a lot to polish, assets aside, but I could see this potentially turning into something more. There's some buggy collisions and the zombies have poor pathfinding, and I find it hard to tell what area in front of the player an animal must be to be "put into the cage" *cough*eaten*cough*; maybe instead of having a collision area, you could create a claw object that the robot sends forth a short distance, and when an animal collides with it, they get grabbed.
