Great entry! The core mechanic fits the topic and throwing Goblins around is a lot of fun! Sadly sometimes I had the bug that a trap killed a goblin I grabbed and the knigth was not able to move for several seconds. Netherless well done squire!

The idea and implementation are all very good. Excellent job on your first jam entry.

Took me a while to realize throw direction was based on where I clicked. The control scheme in general was a somewhat strange mix of keyboard and mouse... Something as simple as a mouse cursor may have improved clarity a bit.

The graphics and audio are incredibly charming!

Once the goblins kick into high gear, it feels fairly monotonous. The cannonball is probably trying to force some kind of strategy, but I found it mostly just cheap.

Overall fun little entry. Some mechanical tweaks around goblin spawns could really make this a fun little game!

Fun for about two minutes, then it's all the same. I wish that I could have walked and jumped with the goblins in my hand. Good first entry, I liked the music!

There is a huge lack of feedbacks and you should accentuate every action in the game. In your entry you only pickup goblin and throw them, so you should've give everything for that, audio, camera shaking, vfx, bigger smoke explosion, and then the game would be super fun to play!

All the enemies come from only 4 spawn points, add some more and change the speeds to give more random spawn, here it feels like you are working on the chain haha

Overall the game is pretty, cool and fitting music, nice 3D art, and cool idea

I like the idea, with a bit more robust controls and randomization for the goblins it would be great. Good effort for a first try!

love the music and sounds! the moves from left to right are a bit slow, and the stun a bit too long :) nicely done

Music and sound was good, the models were great for a jam. The sound lagged a lot though, might need some optimization/preloading for web. Some of the UI buttons wouldn't respond to me at all, and it wasn't really clear what was causing my character to stop moving a few times. I suggest tweaking this a little after the judging is done, it has potential.

I'd like to thank all of you who rated and commented on our game. Thank you for your time! We're learning a lot with this feedback and we hope to make something much better in the future!

The game is good especially when it comes to graphics and music, the only drawback is related to mechanics. It is that the flying goblins synchronize with those walking, which makes it very easy to feel the moment and to throw one in the other, which results in the fact that until we are hit by a bomb, the goblins have no chance.

Launcher goblins?! I need that man! So gooodd!lol!

raffe 2019-05-02 16:41

Hey! What an epic game :D Graphics and music are very very cool in their own style and the games basic mechanics seem to work well. There seems to be some ways to do some weird stuff but I didn't find anything particurally outstanding. Besides that it was really easy to just spam and spam m1 and kill the goblins :D But still you made a really good game, you should be proud!

Great entry, could do with some tweaks on controls and enemy spawns as described by other reviews.

Gave me some nostalgic feelings, reminded me of old 90s/early 2000s pc games (maybe the audio had something to do with that)

With a bit of work I could see this becoming an addictive physics-based mobile game :)

Bonus mood points for the king threatening me at the start!

A lot of fun! Speed potion feels to strong, and barrels feel a bit useless since you can throw enemies instead.

Here is my playtest:

The actions are a little repetitive, and all you have to do is give yourself a ton of speed and you're pretty much unstoppable; I will say, though, that the smoke particles and sound effects were pulled off really well, and made the game very satisfying to play. All around, good work!

Fun little game. Good job on your first jam! :video_game:

This game is so funny! I like the graphics! For me the speed of the personnage is a little bit slow. Great game, good job!

that's fun, well done
