Relaxing game with great art. Nice work.
I am te winner! I like the sprites/animations of the squids! The ambient water sounds felt right too! The jump mechanic felt a bit hard to control, but this reminded me a lot of old calculator games mechanic wise.
Great entry. I like the aesthetics a lot: very simple but also beautiful.
It was not very clear from the beginning what should I do, so I just thought it is a medititative game, but then I accidentally won :) Probably should've read the description first!
Overall, I think the game would benefit with the good tutorial, but I understand that the timing is super harsh on compo, so great job overall!
Really neat little entry, the graphics and animation are really cute and you've managed to use geometric shapes but still make it feel organic. Nice job :)
I like the style -- the wall colors changing over time is a nice addition. Also like how they seemed to glow. Are the levels procedurally generated? Great work!

Nice! This was impressive. Probably a bit too easy - I didn't run into more than one jellyfish - but I like the graphics and the gameplay. I really liked the changing colors as you descend, and the moving seaweed was a nice touch.
I think this is pretty well polished for the compo! Not sure if it was intentional or not, but I was able to jump while falling allowing me to slow down and avoid things easily. I think this could be removed to make the game a bit more challenging. Really loved the ambient music and the graphics!
I really liked how the environment colors changed with the depth. The graphics are simple and geometric but look nice and retain consistency of style.
It was a bit disappointing that there was nothing unique/surprising at the bottom. After all, the jellyfish hunter ventured to discover what is hidden in the depths - and it turned out to be just a "game over" screen 😉

cool game, very fun. a bit too easy if you ask me, but that darn ghost jellyfish hunter dude, he was as heavy as heavy as 10 bathyscaphes.

Nicely done!! it's super fun, are the worlds handcrafted or procedurally generated?? The only thing that bothered me was that I didn't realize the small squids were pickable, since I hit one of the big ones and it damaged me, that part wasn't completely clear. Other than that great game!! You did an amazing job!!
PS: I assume you already know but you've typo in the win screen (Te instead of The)
@webox It's a generator. This is because small jellyfish dose not have so strong poison as small. And you can kill big one from down. Do'h TE mistake!
I like the simple graphics and the fact that you use gamemaker studio 😄 (still a great engine imo). I liked that with a simple howling sound you were able to make the game eerie - great job there. I did however notice that the browser version of the game started to lag a lot the further down I went, but that's the only concern I have.
Charming animations and graphics! I like the gameplay and controls as well, the game is simple but satisfying. I hope you keep adding more stuff to the game as I'd love to revisit in a more challenging, longer form. Well done 🏆

A simple game, but quite pleasant. The mood is the strongest suit. It was kind of relaxing just falling down... deeper and deeper 😄
Very fun little game! slight glitch, after using the "enter for restart" there's no land and I just fall forever.
