Simple but quite moving, I ended up doing nothing for most of my life because the events happened so fast and feeling sad about it but maybe that was the purpose of the game. Either way I enjoyed it, nice entry :)

I really like the concept of this game, and some of the prompts are extremely funny! I can see the care that went into each one! However, for my taste, the prompts are simply too many and too fast, and I can barely read one, before two more expire. I would suggest making the pace of this game just a bit slower! Overall, though, amazing concept. Reminds me a great deal of Before Your Eyes.
okay, i watched this on bohohuhwohuh's stream and had to give it a go myself. it's really lovely, and i feel like i'm close to tears, haha! the music and entire aesthetic of the game comes together really nicely to give a vague bittersweet nostalgic feeling. this is brilliant. very well done — one of my favorite entries i've seen so far!
Thank you all for the feedback. The speed at which stuff flies by is definitely the point of the game, but I think I could slow it down just a bit to still capture that experience, but make it more accessible.
@ty hahaha that's how I felt through a lot of the production, I had to take a long walk and just think about life for a bit at one point
Straight to my heart. Lovely game
More of an experience than a game. Interesting use of the theme.
very beautiful. at times frustrating, but that sort of drives home the theme, right? playing it back at the end was a great touch. i found myself really caring and frustrated by my inability that's like, the whole thing. 5 stars on mood and innovation and theme, easily.
This is not just a game, but a great experience. It's short, so short it captures the essence of juggling so many things in such a short period. Lovely and touching game that nailed it's aesthetic and theme with the bittersweet music and gameplay that overwhelms me just like many things in life.
I didn't just enjoy it, but I was moved by it. I loved this experience
The art is simple but works well, and the overall melancholy mood is well realized. I suppose the opportunities missed so quickly are the point of the game, but that may be too much, as I didn't even have time to read most of it, which makes it lose some of its relevance.
So many missed opportunity - I feel attacked :D
A nice game, good reflective piece. I know you had your hands tied because of the theme, but I found the decisions far toon fast. It meant I couldn't really read most of them. I think maybe that's intentional because you want people to feel like there's so much to do but you can't do it all. Just was a little frustrating when I'm trying to read stuff and another one pops up on top of it. So I ended up pressing choices without reading them.
Always nice to have a game that you can reflect on.
I don't think a Ludum Dare entry has ever given me chills before.
Absolutely moving. The music and overall aesthetic were completely on point and lead to this really melancholy and almost nostalgic mood. The prompts came by fast and sometimes I'd have to select an option without fully reading the prompt or do nothing, but it was very clear that that was the point and it was executed beautifully, it really drove home the feeling that life comes by extremely fast and you won't have the time to do everything you want to. It was a really great touch to have everything you've done play back at the end, it honestly caused me to reflect not just on the choices made in the game, but my actual life.
You don't have a game here my friend, you have art.
5's across the board.
That was so beautiful. :sob: :sob: :sob: :sob:
Absolutely stunning. I wish I could play it with things a wee bit slower so I could read what I was missing.
The only critique that I really have is it took me way too long to realize that I had to just ignore a lot of the popups because once the timer was done you couldn't pick *anything*. I think either having all the options disappear at the end, or having the cards popup without options for a few seconds before providing options so that we get the chance to pivot our eyes could create a more relaxing experience.
But part of life is letting go of what you can't hold. And this pushed on that so, so well.
I'm truly stunned. Thank you.
I came here to play, not to feel ;-;
It's a beautiful experience and an amazing piece of art, thank you for making it
Such a solemn experience, the melancholy was palatable. And good use of the theme, creating urgency measured in seconds, but in a timescale representing an entire lifetime.
Great work!

This was a beautiful experience. The music selection and simplistic art (even the font) helped set the mood. Like others mentioned, I didn't have time to read the prompts, but somehow it felt like that was intentional. Playing this experience again was surreal. I knew some of the prompts already so it felt like I got a redo at life. Great work! You deserve all the good reviews you've gotten.
beautiful experience!
Beautiful experience, thanks for doing this, found myself not doing anything face with the overwhelming amount of options I had. Overall amazing entry
Straight forward mechanics making up a surprisingly moving submission. Very well done!
Honestly, I'm really touched by all the outpouring of love this game has received.
I wanted to make a game that meant something to me, and spoke about my owns struggles with the burden of choice in a world with infinite options and finite time.
I'm really glad that other people resonate and sympathise with this experience as well, reminds me that I am not alone in this world.
It's quite a moving experience ! I love the concept, it creates a lot of emotion without telling an especially sad story, it's really well made ! However I found it really hard to keep up the pace, I sometimes didn't even have the time to read the description of events. I also think it lacked a bit of feedback to show your choice has been taken into account, currently the "do nothing" timer keeps going down even when an option has been selected. It's not really a big deal, but it does not help getting in the mood the game tries to convey.
I played this for you on [stream](https://www.twitch.tv/timbeaudet) and I think I gave good feedback there, if so give a heart, and if not, don't!!
The mood created during the game is the best I have seen so far. The concept is great, and having to make decisions quickly made it so fun to go through.
That was really fast paced and fun great job writing so much in just the few days!
Astounding. I found myself skimming most of them, as I didn't have time to read them all and I STILL missed opportunities... Just like in life, eh? But I think that's ok. Life's about the experiences we have, not the ones we missed.
Gorgeous heartbreaking idea I made decisions without thinkin, some good, some bad. Was it a life well lived? hard to tell.
That was beautiful, and what a way to bring your point across. It's a really, really good idea!
However, I think it was a bit too hard to read the text. I know it's part of the charm of the game, but as English is not my native language, by the time the do nothing animation finished, I had only read the title of the note or one of the choices. I ended up reading the answers rather than the prompts because I didn't have time to click on anything otherwise. The fact that the prompts show up fast and sometimes even on others is fantastic (really!), but it was still a bit too fast for me. (I expected missing a lot of stuff, but definitely not almost everything because I was too slow to read T_T).
Amazing game nonetheless!
I really loved the mood and the message, that there are so many opportunities in life that are missed if you do nothing or don't spot them in time. A beautiful experience. Well done!
Loved the experience. Gives a really good feel of how fleeting your life actually is. So many choices, so many paths and just one taken. Beatiful music as well.
This was really nice and touchy. I like how strong is the implicit idea transmitted with the fast going cards.
The credits dedications must be one of my favorites so far too :slight_smile:
Very well done, and thanks for this entry.
Love the concept and the mood of the game! The only bad thing, is that I think the theme hurt your game, I'm pretty sure it would be better with a 15 second timer, I can read fast, but a lot people don't.
Overall, it's a pretty beautiful game. Simple and nice. Congratulations!
@chocolat-Endive Technically, it's a 17.5 second timer 👀 but don't tell anyone
@cosmonautical I won't!
I love the experience. The music is fantastic and fits the melancholy theme very well. Like others have said, it is kind of hard to read quickly, but I get that is part of the point. Great job!
