the game is good but the size of the page
Super fun, managed to get 89 stacked!
The block-placing system is entirely broken, making the game difficult to play. If this was changed, the game could have been much better. But the idea is still very much fun. Trying to get a good balance and reaching the highest score is very fun to play out. Nice game!
Thank you @alan001 @thatanonoword @0darkandnerdy for the feedbacks! I'm looking forward to improving the game after the jam, all the comments will be taken in consideration

The block placing system is a bit disturbing. But the game is overall fun to play.
@diccuric-sigeon That's a pretty high score ngl, i can't get myself past 110
I liked how you managed to Assist the Balance... It lacks some Music, and Sound FX. and also some polish, but the Idea is there and the game is Functional and quite fun
Cool.
I'd say the game kinda lends itself to spamming a bit which takes away from the skill of the game.
This is definitely my jam - I love stuff like this. For such a simple concept it's really fun. One suggestion: consider a mechanic that limits how often you can drop a block. Maybe once every second or two? I can get a pretty high score by just spamming left-mouse clicks. Just my $.02. Nice work!
Well done! A fun game with a nice idea! Managed to get 199 as my high score.
A suggestion would be to prohibit placement of blocks that overlap on others, or place a small timer between block placements. I managed to get quite a high score by basically spam-placing overlapping blocks around the platforms center of mass.
Good idea for a game! This could be fun as a phone app. My current high score is 75. A good way to improve the game might be to make there be a delay before you can place another object. This could help get around the strategy of just clicking as humanly fast as possible to get a high score without really strategically thinking about where to place your next block.
104! did not expect how catchy this could be!
Straightforward interpretation of the theme. This concept should definitely be expanded to make the game more broadly exciting beyond a single see-saw. Also, it has been mentioned before, but you can "cheat" by simply spawning objects above the pivot and clicking rapidly. Some thoughts for improvements: 1. Limit the location where blocks can be added. 2. Fix the 1-frame glitch which shows new blocks in the wrong place (they spawn for one frame above the pivot no matter where I click) 3. Give the player a goal per "level". Something like "Balance 10 shapes for 5 seconds without the seesaw falling." 4. Add challenge by giving weirdly shaped balancing toys and weirdly shaped objects to drop on those balancing toys.
Thank you @orangutanrider @chainsawmcd @totteriludum @ericfreeman @mejzlosh @the-neon-shark for the feedback!
Others have pointed out the spamming. A small timer/delay between placing objects was a good suggestion, I'd give that a try.
BUT before I realized that exploit, this was really fun. I love that, compared to other physics/tower/balancing games I've seen in this jam, this one actually gives you time to make deliberate decisions. Another plus is the presentation - super simple, sure, but satisfying. The different colours and sizes of the shapes make it quite visually interesting when there's a big pile of stuff. And it's just inherently entertaining to watch big piles of physics objects interacting.
So, really simple, but really cool!
The concept of this game is simple, but it is executed decently. The physics work well, and it is always satisfying watching all the physics object roll and fly off the balance board even though that means I'm about to inevitably lose.
I did find I could just spam blocks from the center of the board and they would distribute out pretty evenly in terms of weight (I was able to get a score of 109 this way). The block placing system always isn't working correctly, I think? It displays a silhouette for the next block to be placed, but it often seems to decide to place something else entirely (I was going to place a tiny triangle somewhere, but then the game spawned a big box, and it shifted the weight of the seesaw entirely). Other than that, I had a lot of fun with this.
@pdotjpg Thank you for the feedback!
@proxy-games Yeah i noticed that bug i don't know if i can update the game i made for the jam so i'm just gonna fix that bug in the updated version you can find in the other link; Thanks for playing the game!
Different levels, where balancing conditions change, would be good for this game.
This is good. As far as I could tell, the physics works great. Also, this might have the most instability of any game I've tried. I tested and reviewed the game in this video: https://youtu.be/s4yliNM61Xw
@meansquarederror Thank you very much for playing the game! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
pretty simple but fun game... I managed to get up to 107 blocks at the same time spamming click, so it may be a good idea to limit how often you can place blocks to make it more challenging :)
Fun little game :) As others have mentioned, the easiest way to get a high score is to simply spam (AutoHotkey anyone? ;) ) But if you play more calmly it's actually really enjoyable! I also enjoyed the graphics -- they are simple, but it's very clear what's happening, and I like the bloom effect!
@bruno-molteni @thewustache Thank you for the feedback! I actually already fixed the spamming problem, it's in an update coming soon ( not out yet ) on the other link you can find above the original one.
You should make this a mobile game! It's fun and addictive. Thanks for making it
My highest score is 106. Very fun I like how fast I can make shapes in a panic
@afells Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it
@cannashblue Thanks for playing my game! I will definitely make it a mobile game once i finish adding the gamemodes
This game is surprisingly addictive considering how simple the concept is. The ability to quickly put down lots of shapes in a desperate attempt to maintain the balance is what kept me interested and made it feel satisfying. I was quite proud of my score too so I attached it below.
Good job :)

@jaybaus Thank you for playing the game! I'm glad you enjoyed it
Congratulations on your highscore!
Fun Game
Thank you for the game! It is interesting, but a little bit short. The best and easiest way to game and win - just leave all objects in the center as fast as you can. Is this a bag or a feature? :-)Capture.JPG
@nikiroz Thank you for playing the game! I tried to prevent the "iPlaceEverythingInTheCenterStrategy" by adding random sized shapes but that didn't really seem to work :/
In the updated version ( which you can find in the link above btw ) there will be difficulties, gamemodes and core mechanics changes, such as the much requested placing timer and the "placing zone", to make the game a bit more challenging and much longer
For all the beta players out there i'll add the options to disable the features that may make the game too hard
I really like the idea! However, I got a better score by clicking super fast rather than being meticulous.
Very simple, but cool game! Maybe it will be good to add relaxing sound... When all construction is falling :D
Screenshot 2021-10-19 134240.jpg I have the high score now!!!!
Very fun! I could see this being a great idle game on the play store! I never thought this game would be this addictive!
Nicely done!
Thank you @taboo-chris @zeilanda @ideaspersecond for playing the game!
