This game was really fun, nice job. It was cool going through multiple runs to try and figure out possible commandments, and I really enjoyed actually appeasing one of them. Really good job!

It's a great idea but for my first two or three runs I absolutely got no idea on what to do.
I understood the idea, is different from what I have seen, but I played some times and still didnt get how to play it. Sometimes I won the round, but no idea how I did that xD
I guess it worth to add a tutorial like: if you do X you improve Y, if you do Z you lose
I played the game a few times but I'm still not sure what the gods want from me. They seem pretty happy though so they give me a decent harvest, maybe I'm just blessed? Some music would have been awesome!
Walking between the wheat and the hill without jumping seems to do that job, I am not sure why but those gods are mysterious.
Nice idea! Passed it on my first try. ^^
The god on the right is a real mardarse hahaha took me a while to get him to even be meh ahah, seems like his is the harder to please god. I like the idea of this but feel it could be given more controls, more actions etc and it would become more interesting as a game later on in its development if you choose to do more on it. Graphics wise the player looks fairly good, and the gods as emoji's is quite clever but the ground looked a bit glithy when I played it. Sound wise the ohhhhhahh of the gods is good, but it would be good to get different sounds based on different emotions from the gods. Overall I like the idea. Maybe you could give the player hints at good actions and made it somehow 'coded'? Like you see a quarter of the movements they approve of but not all.
Left God was consistently pleased with me. Right God and I never really saw eye to eye. I appreciate the cryptic vibes from the project, it's really cool. I think there definitely needs to be some level of feedback distributed. If you do a task a certain number of times, good or bad, it unlocks and tells you if a God likes or dislikes the action. Just food for thought.
The idea behind the game is really intriguing, but as some others have said it was really difficult to figure out what you are supposed to do. The first round I won by pure luck as I had no idea what I was doing, maybe it would help this game if the possible commandments where somehow communicated to the player beforehand. That way the player might be able to make a more educated guess towards why the gods might be angry or happy. I feel like now you can lose a game without being able to prevent it if you guess wrong 3 times in a row.
I really liked the sound design though!
I loved this game! It was very fun to try and figure out what the emojis wanted me to do. I replayed it hoping to find new commandments, and to my surprise, there were new ones! It has a lot of replayability. The game is simple and easy to control. I was a bit confused at the start when the emojis were angry at me, but I figured it out quickly. If you were to continue this and make it a full game, I would recommend a larger playing area, more commandments, and actions the player can do. This has quite a lot of potential, well done!
The idea is interesting, I think it needs a clearer indication of what acts appease the gods though, or how close you are to the sequence, a bit like mastermind where it's "correct act, wrong order" or something. Or maybe there is no correct sequence and it's all a placebo effect and this is a clever psychological experiment. It had charm though, well done :)
One of the more creative entries I've seen this LD! It's pretty fun but difficult to try to figure out what the gods want. The use of emojis to express their emotions is also pretty amusing.
Took me some time to understand it, but it was really fun! I wish the game was more forgiving on you making mistakes, doesn't give a lot of room for trying things out. Still managed to complete it, good job!
Interesting game and concept, but I also had a bit of difficulty trying to understand exactly what to do.
Nice idea. I like the cricket sound during the night.
The Gods work in mysterious ways... I had fun trying to figure out what they wanted me to do!
Love your game! It took me a while understanding what was going on, but after 1 time loosing I understood what was going on. Very creative take on the theme, my compliments to you! The controls could have been a more refined, but for this game that is not important. Also, those googly eyes of those judging gods are pretty funny
Neat little idea, the eyes and the sound when the gods are thinking are somehow perfect, nice one
this was great, the idea made me chuckle but the eyes following me made me actually laugh out loud. The sound effects of being judged were perfect! great job!
Fun little game and I like that you have to figure it out and it's not immediately obvious at all.
My first run I has no clue what was happening but when I died I realised what kind of stuff the gods wanted. After that I had tons of fun trying to figure out each gods willing. Overall it's a really fun game.
loved the game concept and how the eyes follows the player like cctv
