Ahahahah! the voice acting is perfection!!! Also top notch writing! I literally laughed out loud when the mc turned himself into an orange rectangle! Funniest stuff I have ever seen!
I had fun playing the game, would have loved to seen the more later cut scenes but I guess I just need to git gud!
@danashrulez hehe, yeah I probably made the last level a bit too difficult. There is no RNG, though, so you can just learn the patterns by heart.
Cool openscene animation and the humor, enjoy playing it.

I feel you, it IS super hard to make good arts. But I think that was the most beautiful way of avoiding it that I've ever seen. Loved the game, pretty funny. I'd make the audio stop if someone runs through the dialog, because now the audio just stacks on top of each other. But cool submission, liked it!
@guy-girmonsky Yeah, as you can probably image I was pretty annoyed with the audio stacking while developing the game, so I definitely considered doing something about it but laziness got the best of me.
This certainly isn't a game for geriatrics, it's rather hard but nothing unmanageable. Making fun of yourself was funny and meta. The voice acting was perfect.

That was really fun! Some really funny parts too! There were a lot of nice touches that made it feel good to play (the way you could advance through dialogue faster, the lights highlighting where the bullets are spawning from, etc.). One suggestion is that I think the player should have faster stopping speed. This was especially noticeable when trying to drop to a lower floor. It wasn't 'hard', but it could have been easier to make things feel smoother, if that makes sense! Nice job!
Very fun game! I really like your 2D graphics and dialogues are funny too. I would increase the difficulty of the game and create as fun endings to the game as its dialogues.
Very fun, well-produced, well-interpreted dialogues. Graphics on the cut scenes are very nice. Audio is super good. Not my favorite kind of gameplay, but I had fun as much as it lasted. Controls felt generally snappy, but there was one point, when staying on the top platforms, when I wanted to jump only one level down (to land near the edge of a mid-level platform), I often ended up right to the bottom level. Finally, strange to say, but it's one most geriatric games I ever played! Nice game, for making it!

Ok so the game looks horrible and doesn't bring new ideas to the table BUT the cutscenes look great, the audio and dialogues are awesome and it's fun for those players that like a challenge. Bonus points for dissing safari, explaining the controls in a dialogue and implementing checkpoints, nice job!
Unfortunately my animations are indeed very geriatric as well, so I totally relate to just making shapes lmao. I noticed that the bullets didn't rotate to face the direction they were going, and the slippery but sensitive movement caused some frustration, but those are really just polish things. I had a lot of fun and the three-level gameplay honestly reminded me of the Muffet fight from Undertale. On my second playthrough I think I found a god-tier strat of standing on the top platform and jumping over all the bullets. It doesn't work for the lasers but absolutely cheeses the first two levels. Also I realized if you go too fast for the dialogue all of the voice lines play together and it sounds very chaotic XD.
You made me laugh with every dialogue line. Congrats, this is the funniest game I played this LD :D
@tubadude99 YOOO! Great job! Thanks for playing! I definitely did have some Undertale boss fights in mind when I made this game. I also noticed after playing the levels that there are quite a few ways to cheese them. My favorite was always the bottom right corner.
I think that this is may be really hard IRL. With so much diseases appeared in recent years, after COVID-19. I think medics should do better or at least do their best to help other people. Maybe that is why i've decided to become a nurse and right now i'm writting https://www.nursingpaper.com/our-services/nursing-case-study/ in order to become a real prfoessionals and try to help other people in their treatment
