Bro the cutscenes are insane! Nicely done.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD50 → Definitely not Titanic

Bro the cutscenes are insane! Nicely done.
Cool easter egg if you exit out of the map 3 times!
Those cutscenes were amazing! Gave me a little laugh and was pretty enjoyable!
Insane cutscenes!! The music's nice too.
Very nice game! Love the humor touch at the end
The cutscenes were great, overall this was a nice experience with some gameplay between the shots.
Good job!
Better than Titanic itself! :D
Nice use of the theme, good job guys ^^
I like it. But I really want music in the background during the gameplay
Great work on the cutscenes. Loved the theme and the level design, just missed the gameplay music. Very good job overall :D
Very satisfying. Great cutscenes.
Nice intro scene haha!
I was very confused with the room switching, I though it was automatically changing but on the second try I realized that somehow I was triggering them by going into some area. Maybe make that clearer.
Also it didn't feel like I could do much to the game, so it felt just just running around and waiting to die... Maybe you could have added a hope that it could be different, or multiple timers with breaks in between? Just some thoughts.
Graphics: very nice blocky style when you are inside the ship! In the cutscene it was a bit weird that blocks had multiple sizes. Maybe the iceberg could have less fine grained cubes because that + aliasing was disturbing on the background.
Oh and great audio.
Nice submission and good job!
Really cool game concept, I really enjoyed playing it! The cutscenes were great to, good job you all!
A clever take on the theme, combining it with such a well-known tragedy.
It felt like there were insufficient barrels right from the start. Like there should be a point where you feel like you're in control before things ramp up, but I just never found enough barrels to patch things up. Some kind of directional indicator (visual, panned sound, etc) of a barrel spawning would also have been welcome, I just kept circling through the locations hoping to find barrels.
The intro was pretty cool, as was gameover sequence, but the timing on them was a bit slow paced.
All in all pretty cool, just those things I mentioned stood out to me.
Let's just say I gave a high score on humor ;)
The voxel style is really nice and aids in the comedic cutscenes. I wish the music carried through to the gameplay. The spawnrates and timer bonus are very finely tuned so that you are always scrambling for more barrels but not enough to stop the timer from counting down.
Really like the opening cutscenes and framing. Like the idea of grabbing planks to repair the ship. Moving between floors is a little jarring since you just teleport but all in all great job. <3
Lovely entry!
I really liked the simplicity of the graphics, and the cutscenes too. Adorable. The voxel style was just amusing to me, loved it! I did like the ratio of barrels vs hole as the game went on, as I feel like the game might've become stale if it went on for much longer, this felt like the perfect duration of a single round! Could imagine adding increasingly harder mechanics and/or a score system or something! Thanks for submitting!
Nice work having the cutscenes and stuff! Super ambitious for a game jam. Fits the theme pretty well.
@remicraft the main scene has music it was tunrned off for some reason. Now its' on thanks for your comments :)
What can I say, cut scenes great music and art, I had a blast playing.
Really enjoyed this haha great entry
As everyone else is saying, the cutscenes are breathtaking. You really transported me into another world with that opening. I want to be able to just wander these massive icebergs and explore inside them -- so much potential with this world you've built! Gameplay was fun and smooth. Music exciting. Great Jam entry!
This is a nice concept for tying a real life event to the theme. The amount of love and attention given to this-with the high quality cutscenes, and the well-done voxel style. The music during gameplay works well at giving a tense, upbeat feeling. The gameplay is simple but well done, and the end cutscene with the main character just leaping off a piece of wood is comical. Nice entry!
very funny and clever. The movement can feel a bit slippery sometimes though especially when using "w" and "d"
The game's nice music really helps with the intence mood. And the violin in the end cutscene reminds me of the band playing while sinking in the movie.
One advice. It would be better if the transition between rooms of the ship have visual cue.
I loved the cutscenes and the music. At first I was a little lost, but I quickly got the idea. Great game
Delayed it for 5 minutes 33 seconds! I really liked the game, a great mix of fun and chaos. At first I fully didn't understand what to do and then I realized that I only had inventory space for 3 wood - this created a nice balance in the beginning! I enjoyed how chaotic it got towards the end and you learnt the map quickly! Audio was really nice as well :D
@korfi , you have the best score we seen or heard so far! Congrats and thanks for playing our game!
I really enjoyed the experience, the animations were very good and the graphics were amazing. The game definitely fit the theme and the sense of panic was definitely created through the use of the music and the particle effects and the difficulty increase in terms of more holes spawning over time. The hammer feature was a great addition to the gameplay, but there needed to be a way of removing the chance element to make it feel more fair. Apart from that, this was an extremely well made game with lots of polish and I really enjoyed playing!
an intense run for the inevitable! nice game thanks for sharing it. if you ever plan on update this game you can add a ui to indicate where there are barrels and holes. with out that indication i felt a little lost.
Great music/art, I found a funny out of bounds glitch, on the upper deck you can squeeze between the railing and get up to the top portion, jump into the water, and just leave. Second try got 2:09.
Fun game, I admire you managed to create cutscenes in the very short time the Jam gave to us. I think it would be cool to have a little more objects that give you the wood besides the barrels, for example boxes, tables, chairs, etc. Well done!
@raptor851 We are aware of the little place not being close with the collider, we decided to leave it there as Easter egg to see if people would actually try to go there and find it ahahaha
Pretty fun, I have to point out that graphics are nice and despite my potato PC I managed to play quite nicely - though it was probably due to a fact that the game is just walking around. I'd like to point out that in a game like this a leaderboard would be nice - just to see how well we did in comparison to others. Also you don't have to say constantly "deny the inevitable":P And probably last, but it was already said: its hard to spot that You have to collect barrels to fix holes. Some more indication like sound would be nice. Cutscenes **smack** perfect
I like the concept and that there is no action button, it makes the game feel fast and the catchy music helps too. Graphically I think it could be improved, especially the models, the lighting and the particle effects. The theme implementation is on point and the cutscenes set the tone really well, nice job!
@hatmajaster Thanks for pointing that out, we will make sure to had things in the next game jam!
@jackaljk first time doing graphics... I will make sure to look more videos online. Thanks for playing our game!
Yeah, the music is very fitting, and I heard IT (hope I'm not mistaking:)!:) Funny game, I liked that it has intro and outro, nicely drawn character and a combo of doom and humour! Thank you)
@olguinne We handmade the music, @charles-viau can answer your questions about it! Thanks for playing our game.
I had a pretty difficult time finding the barrels, but I had fun and it was really good use of the theme. Good job!
Easy to understand and easy to play. Fun little game that is definitely on-point with the theme. The music selections and cut scenes were excellent -- A great addition to the experience!
Some potential adjustments: 1. Make it easier to understand where the staircases are. I found the transitions between the regions jarring / somewhat surprising even when I knew they were coming. 2. The hammer is a nice addition to the game, but I never encountered it :/ Would be nice to have that sort of upgrade be guaranteed at least once to expose the mechanic to players.
Great work!
Nice game! Had some trouble moving in the ship as I could not figure out the stairs at first. The game really fits the theme! I also appreciate the music!
I must say, the music is too ambitious for a three-days game. In terms of gameplay, I kind of disliked the transitions between floors - I feel like they could've been nicer. Also, I must've picked up hammer on accident, because I though I somehow glitched the game and had unlimited amount of wood lol.
Other than that, nice little game, presents itself amazingly. Nice job!
@sammot The game was made to be hard, we made it so there was more holes spawning than barrels while advancing in the game. Thanks for playing!
@the-neon-shark You are right. We should of probably added more chances for the player to find an hammer. Thanks for playing!
@alks Yes, we will make it those little details more obivous in our next games. Thank you for your feedback!
@krzyhau Transition was really the last thing we did, should of put more time into it. We are taking notes on your feedback. Thanks for playing!
Still can't believe I got 4 hammers in one run. Well done; but I would have liked to see some UI hinting at what was going happening on other floors; maybe an indicator of how many Barrels / holes on each floor
Thats a great idea. Unfortunately, we were short on time. I will keep that in mind. Thanks for playing!
This was a real joy to stream and many of the viewers loved the audio easter egg. Thank you for brining it by! highlight: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1451440143?t=01h40m17s
Good game, very cinematic and interesting idea. But unfortunatly too short.
*...inevitable? You're really thinking that drowning is... inevitable? Maybe for a mere mortal like you. Just think about it. The fact you're standing on something you call "a ship" is just a manifestation of your perceptual capabilities. It's just a concept you create in your mind - the world is just an illusion. You're simply unable to shape it around your will. I also was once like this - desperately trying to fix the mess I've landed into. But I've risen above it. Rejected the inevitable. Delayed it forever. My heart is no longer with this ship, this falsified perception of reality. Continue these lasts seconds of your journey without me.*

That was fun! unfortunately I got screwed over by RNG. Good game overall
@krzyhau I never laughed this hard in my life I think. Is this the power of a god?
@krzyhau OMG, this is the best comment i've red in any game I made so far XD, thnaks for enlightning me on the way of living:)
Hello! I played your submission on my [HaaYaargh](https://www.twitch.tv/haayaargh) stream the other day.
Cut-scene at the beginning and ending masterfully set the mood for the rest of the game. Gameplay is simple but engaging. I would give the level a pass on staircase visibility because at the beginning it was difficult to guess where is the exit, I tried many times to run over the stair-looking part of the ship on the top deck. Given more time I would also allow the player to explore rooms, or place more obstacles on the floors so they don't look as empty.
I've been lucky enough to find the hammer, but unlucky enough for the hammer to spawn on a floor that didn't have any holes in it, so it ran out before I could get on another floor. Need to pray to RNGesus more  Delaying lasts seconds kept me on my toes, I could get as low as 1 second, but lucky streaks of barrels and holes awarded me 15 more, and then it started ticking back. Thrilling.
The audio was 10 out of 5, which made running back and forth hella enjoyable.
Overall great & fun job :ship: :hole: :hammer_pick:
PS; now looking at the game, cut-scenes and audio I think it actually might have been a Titanic
My Titanic will not go on or above 1:56 minutes LOL. It so smooth, I'm surprised how smooth it felt with all those vertex around and the mechanic was simple enough not to get in the way but to keep it fun. My recommendations are a higher spawn of barrels or maybe combo them. Also highlight the colider of the stairs, nonetheless very fun indeed!
@haayaargh Thanks for playing, we enjoy your feedback. We should of made the stairecases more evident!
@binaryprinciple Poor ship... We did make it so the barrels spawn less and less compare to the holes as the time gets higher (we know our game is difficult lol). We also should of highlighted the stairs. Thanks for playing and your feedback!
Fantastic work. The framerate was a bit shite in my browser, which made the cutscenes feel terrible to watch although I was very impressed by them otherwise, but didn't affect gameplay too much. Controls were fast, if a bit floaty feeling (probably because of the frame drops). Collision with the stairs didn't really make sense to me. Had a hard time understanding which floor I was on, especially since I kept switching floors by accident due to the weird collisions for the stairs. But I really loved the music - especially the little (spoiler maybe since someone i think called it 'it'?) 'near, far, whereEVER you are' sting in it. Absolutely fantastic - and the crewmate being named Jack, too.
I tried to find the 'exit out of map 3 times' easter egg after reading comments, couldn't though :( did find the collider bug and had fun swim-running in the gray abyss for 30 seconds though!
@papabirb Get better idk, the easter egg is insane. I don't see any bugs on my part, only great features. I love swimming! Glad they integrated it in the game :)
@papabirb Thanks for playing our game! We probably should of put a collider on the celling so the player cannot escape, we decided not to at the end LOL. I haven't heard any problems with the framerate yet...
@mikolino Lol, main problem was I couldn't figure out what exit map 3 times meant. Quit game? Out of bounds? Those are both very 1-way things.
@mathglo Yeah, I think the frame rate might be a me thing since it happened on some other games after this one, might need to reboot my PC or something.
@papabirb, @mikolino is messing with you :)
@charles-viau oh lol! Didn't even realize it was the original commenter who said the exit out of map 3 times thing, good to know! Thought I was missing out on something cool lol.
Funny game. The music fits well, especially the ending. Just how does a ship spring a leak on the upper decks?
Very cool game! Took me awhile to figure out how to get to the other decks. The music was perfect...did I hear a bit of "My Heart Will Go On"'s melody during the game? I keep the ship alive for 3:03!
@claytonrumley you definitely didn't hear “My Heart Will Go On” melody's during the game ;). Remember, it's definitely not Titanic ;).
Nice game! Good music! I _was_ disappointed that my original gambit of "leap over the side and swim for it" just resulted in falling endlessly through a gray void though :-D
@saintchristopher777 Like jack, jumping into the blue abyss would only delay your inevitable death ;) thanks for playing!
the music is amazing and the charactercontrol smooth as silk. at first i tought the stairs were more like roofing until i walked up onto them to get to the leak behind it faster, and i found myself a level up in the ship with way more leaks haha! enjoyed this a lot.
Impressive cutscenes and the voxely look is pretty neat. It did feel a bit aimless but I did manage to delay the inevitable for 3 minutes, thanks to that one hammer I found. Now I saw someone got 4 hammers and I feel a bit jealous, no way I can compete with that! I never found any barrels on the top floor so I ended up neglecting it, not sure if that was a mistake. Overall the chaos and the chaotic music along with it was entertaining so I had a good time
@flying-dog-fish, it would of been to easy to just put the holes on the bottom dek, we decided to put them on all the deks! Thanks for playing!
@magus77 Thanks for playing and your feedback!
@bernhard Barrels spawn randomly (same thing for the hammer LOL). They can spawn on any dek. Thanks for playing !
[Thanks for submitting your game to stream!](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1457959497?t=02h00m56s)
The personality in this one is chef's kiss, I love it! So fortunate that Titanic has finally entered the public domain for this game to exist.
@coleslaughter Thanks for playing our game! Just remember tho, it is NOT the titanic...
this made me sink into my chair
Nice one! Jaaaack! come back.. lol, nice art and music, cool job!
