The graphics are stunning, the music is on point. I would probably have chosen less nerdy words but ones with more relation to the art style and depicted period of the game.

this artwork is amazing! love this theme interpretation!!
im a bit confused on who's speaking when, though i know i myself (my character) pick options, i dont get which character exactly i am, am i the deliverer or the soul also the moment when picking thoughts is a bit confusing too, but one can get a hang of it
I think this is the longest/deepest narrative game I've seen in a game jam (although I don't usually go for visual novels, so maybe that doesn't mean much). The story was compelling and the audio accompaniment is good. Took a while to figure out what exactly was going on with the word selection minigame, but that's fine. I was able to reach the end eventually. Overall, a pretty solid entry!
this was beautiful!! when i figured out how the text bubbles worked it was very cool.
this music is making me cry Lovely choices and mood, rated you 5 cuz there is no 6
Stunning art!
The dialog display makes the maingame like watching subtitled classic anime movies.
And the antique book-like border decoration & ui animations really reminds me of Shinbo Akiyuki.
Didn't think I would be tearing up from a LD game yet here we are. First off the art and music beautiful. Second, the dialogue between characters is great, I love how it deals with the subject matter but keeps it light hearted. Also, the interpretation of the theme is great. Everything feeds into this melancholy vibe that is just wonderful. I hope to see this game go places, wonderful game!
Ok, I have to get this out of the way before the actual review. This game is a little laggy in my browser. Doubt there's much you can do about that, but I thought it was worth noting.
Wow. Wowowowowowowowowowowowowowow. That was not only a perfect game, it was a perfect __jam__ game. The music was great! The art was great! The story was profound and thoughtful. The take on the theme was innovative! But most of all, all of these things suit the game jam format really well! I'd be interested to hear about your development experience, but this game seems like it's 10% setting up systems, and 90% making content with the ever living crap polished out of it.
Congratulations. I think you're a winner!
Straight off the bat, you can tell this game is going to be good. From the graphics, to the pacing, to the audio, everything just feels right. The dialogue is really good and the game and all the aspects of the game just fit together really well. The game just felt so peaceful and polished. Like watching a movie. Seriously great work.
My only concern is I kept getting this error message: Screenshot_234.png
The game worked fine despite the error message. Maybe it was just my browser. Great work regardless.
Amazing graphics and audio design, interesting storyline, fantastic work! As i am not a native english speaker it was quite hard to choose right words during "bubble minigame"
Nice game there! Loved the mood set by the grafics and the sound. The first lines of the dialogue seemed out of the time, but I realized it is one of the points why I liked this game. Great job!
Wow! That was unexpectedly beautifull!
Graphics and animations are stunning, audio is perfectly atmosheric and all the sfx were on time. And don't get me started on the narrative, I mean, who doesn't like a nice heminguweyan iceberg. Loved the balance between dialogs and gameplay. Catching words had a nice difficulty curve even for a non-english-native-person-with-vocabulary-difficulties like myself.
Although wished that you could restart from gameplaying bit after failure for a jam version, 'cause there are a lot of games to rate and big setbacks can get quite frustrating.
Nonetheless, just a perfect entry!
Amazing art and subtle animations.
I was a bit confused at first with the contrast between the dialogue and the artstyle.
The art was amazing. Awesome story as well i quite enjoyed it! I might have to sit down an play all of it one day!
Wow, very interesting interpretation of the theme! Nice music, amazing art and well written dialogues. The atmosphere is very chill / melancholic / sad. I think you nailed everything! Nice job!
I'm SO in love with this game! You already had me by having my favourite flower in the title, but the actual game is even better than what I could've hoped for. You made this goth's day :bat:
I don't really have much to criticise. The only thing that bugged me a bit was the default sound for the text scrolling, I found it a little sharp and too digital. Lowering the volume helped a little, but it still stood out against the warm acoustic music.
Other than that, though, this is absolutely amazing. I'd be thrilled if you decided to expand on this for a larger-scale game! :black_heart:
So moody, wow! The bubbles gameplay was not the best but the rest is great.
This game is stunning!! I love how you guys interpreted the theme, I love the ambience, writing, music, everything. I coudn't take my eyes off the character art!! It looks amazing, nice job!
Excellent, if you told me this game was done in 72 hours I probably wouldn't believe you, loved the aestethic and the mood overall, graphics are gorgeous and music on point. nothing bad to say about it except that gameplay can get very repetitive when you get to the third soul and it took me some time before I realised what I had to do with the popups. Short, sweet and very pretty!
The story was fascinating, the visuals are beautiful, and the music is great. I don't often play visual novels, but I really enjoyed this one.
I loved this game. The visuals were stunning, I loved the last story and its "twist", and the last character was gorgeous!
Absolutely incredible. Astounding that something so polished and well-written came together in just three days. This is easily the best thing I've seen out of this jam so far, standing head and shoulders above everything else.
Absolutely amazing. Especially loved the music. Didn't really understand what happened at the end but I enjoyed the experience regardless.
This is such an amazing and touching game. The story is very powerful. The art is gorgeous. The characters have... character and are memorable and engaging. The dialogue options actually change what is being told, which is very impressive.
It's very hard to find anything to criticize, but if I had to, it was a little confusing to understand what to do with bubbles at first. As I understood they tell a part of a character's story. Some bubbles can be derived from the dialogue, some are not. A little too random to my liking, but it's more of a personal preference, than a game's issue.
Also, it reminded me of an anime called "Death Parade", which is one of my favorites. I don't know if it was an inspiration or not, but I find it amazing either way.
Such a great entry!
This game is just beautiful: the stories, the music, the art. The word bubbles are laggy, but I still want to bask in the whole experience regardless.
Beautiful game! Everything works so well together! The art, the story, the music! Very powerful!
I'm genuinely blown away. It immediately felt like I was a part of the story thanks to the compelling audio/visuals/writing all coming together. All of the characters felt real to me. In between I was slightly confused whether the character in front of you is the other party or yourself, but it becomes obvious as the game goes on. The gameplay was really pleasant as well and thanks to the minigame not punishing failure too harshly I started failing on purpose to explore all of the dialogue options. The only moment of frustration was getting stuck on the third soul, but it did make it more rewarding to beat. And finally, I loved that you're lulled into a rhythm only for the game to hit you with something new in the best "oh dang i hadn't even THOUGHT about that but it makes sense" way.
Beautiful game, i liked the gameplay too, even if i had a hard time with it because english isn't my native language ^^
The vibes for this game are insane. The aesthetic is killer; I want a new desktop wallpaper with this!
Wow!! A really gorgeous game-- love the artstyle with the subtle swaying motion of the carriage, the stylized character designs, the subtle character animation/movements, all the effects like the particles and watercolor-like overlays, the background music which was really fitting too. The writing is very well done and I really felt like I could empathize with the characters in the limited time. I struggled with the 3rd soul for sure, especially with the first choice selection minigame, but I feel like that was a part of the experience for that character's story. I also started experiencing the "warning: write error message popup in the middle of the 3rd soul's story, though it would disappear after a while. All in all, really wonderful game!
Beautiful Graphics and music! I enjoy the stories all through the game. It is a wonderful game!
The atmosphere of this game is amazing! I really love the graphics and the gameplay which really serves the story. I am used to playing visual novels and I can stay that I loved this one.
Moody, soothingly involving, nice idea with calming thoughts. Maybe, could sound a bit less depressive. I'd recommend turning off the dialogue (typing) sfx, for it ruins the mood fast.
this feels so polished and the music and art is gorg! And the little animations are such a nice touch. I love that the spider lily at the bottom is the settings toggle. Kind of reminded me of the sections in Spiritfarer where you say goodbye on the boat on a surface level but here I felt like I got to know my passengers way deeper despite just being a jam game. That last person.. I've never played a souls-like visual novel but now I can say I have. Really cool idea. What happens next in the story, I need to know???
This game is so beautiful, both the art and the writing! It started off strong and only got better throughout. Everything felt really polished as well!
Oh this was wonderful!! The first two souls had me in tears so fast. The tone shift to soul 3 was jarring in just the right way. Super cool take on the prompt, gorgeous art, just beautiful all together.
What an amazing entry, I was not ready to be hit in the feels. I love the progression and the dialog was really well written. Amazing art style as well, great job to the artist, the character designs are absolutely superb! Very strong entry to this jam, congratz on this beautiful game :)
What a great experience, everything comes together in this game! The setup with the first two souls and the shift to the third one was perfect. Good use of interactive elements within the story without them feeling forced, I especially liked the second-to-last one with finding the one word. Great art and audio as well!
