Fantastic - best game I've seen so far. I think you nailed almost every aspect. This felt very put together for a 48-hour submission, and the addition of the different achievements was a nice touch.
Very poslished Game with the only flaw being the visablelity of the Mouse :)

Everything was so well put together, great job! Having such unique spells really opens up different playstyles (wind magic for the win :wind_blowing_face:) and oh my god I'm so bad at the game haha.
Also, it's impressive that this game looks so complete. That feeling of "Oh, this has potential but the time just wasn't there to make it" is completely absent. Nice work!
damn it is hard. can't hold 3 balls for a single second. This is the fun and addictive type game. polished and feel completed, enjoyed it
The golden egg here is the different spell options-- what a neat idea. After unlocking Wind I was eager to try the other two. Earth was a laugh, it was like playing a different game! Fire sending the ball flying exactly what I was hoping for.
I didn't run into any issues, though with Wind it was kind of hard to lose. Solid entry :)

Hands down the most fun game yet! If you didn't tell me this was an LD entry, I would think it is a full game. I would LOVE to play this on my phone. Physics are absolutely amazing and responsive, I like the different spells, such a cool idea. I honestly expected the whole game was just about clicking that one spell, and even THAT would be fun!
And the fact this was all made for COMPO is just mindblowing. Amazing stuff.
Not a negative thing per se, but maybe something you can consider changing. The "wind" spell is a bit overpowered, as you can basically keep the ball in one position for as long as you can, I also tried to cheese it with the side screen, so the ball was generating points for no effort. Also, to make it a little bit more challenging, I think it would be better, if there was some kind of line where you can cast your spells, instead of being able to cast anywhere. Because this way you can keep the ball as high as you want and it may never fall lower.
Feels like a flash game I used to play as a kid(in a good way). Super polished entry and the varying spells with achievements effectively keeps people playing. I love that you make the player complete a task to start. My only gripe is that wind was by far the best and forced kind of campy gameplay as opposed to the funny ones like fireball.
Nice work. The core mechanisms are clear and simple, and all the extra surprises bring delight.
@iluvatar thank you so much! A mobile release is definitely in the cards once I get over my post jam laziness :smile:. You're totally right that wind is a bit too easy compared to the others - first thing on the to do list is to rework it so it's a bit easier to miss and more punishing if you do so. I love the idea of restricting the region you can cast in, and I think it'll help a tonne for when the games running in a phone's tall aspect ratio. Thanks for playing!

Great little game! The highest I got was 170 with the rock, was on a roll until a pigeon ruined it all! The only constructive criticism I have is I wanted more from the explosion :smile: Great job!
the graphics are really beautiful. this can be a real fun mobile game.
Fun game. I like the upgrades, the wind one I found to be the easiest to play with, got to over 200 then my finger got sore haha.
I really enjoyed playing! While its a simple idea you were able to do a lot with it and you executed it very well. The variety of spells and the things that come on to screen were a good way to shake up the gameplay. I also like the quality of life features liked being able to see where the ball is even if its off the top of the screen. The sound effects were also a nice addition! Some particles might have been nice when hitting the ball, but that's totally a personal suggestion because the game on the whole was extremely well polished! Overall, I had a lot of fun playing!
Loved it! The game I played the most so far!! I didn't unlock all achievements but unlocked the explosions which are quite difficult to control. The art is amazing but the music a little repetitive.
What an amazing little game! I lost like an hour of my life playing it. It's so well made. The physics are smooth and the controls are super responsive. The only feed back I have is that the sound effects were a little loud compared to the music. Well done!
Loved this! Gave me such anxiety trying to juggle three balls hahaha. The wind spell was the easiest one. This game just works, there is nothing wrong with it at all. Cool how you managed to include achievements as well. Very well done.
The first and last spell are quite frustrating but the game is fun nonetheless. It looks great too and fits the theme perfectly, good job!

Great game! I'd agree with others that wind is a little OP. You can just kind of trap the ball in the top corner of the screen and keep it up there forever away from all the obstacles. I like the variety of abilities and the system to unlock them, as well as the achievements to encourage different types of play. Overall I'm really impressed with how complete this game is for a compo game! You could totally release this as a mobile game as it is and it would be more of a complete game then some I've seen. Amazing work!!!

I just found very difficult to control the ball with magic when it is almost down (I wasn't able to save it once). Although I did very bad, I still played more to try to improve the score.
Really liked that the different spells allowed for different play-styles. Fire was hilariously strong.
Reeeally love this game!! Such a fun and simple gameplay and I just love all the variety in spells, achievements, challenges and multipliers! The art and music is just delightful, plus you've got a great UI and a tutorial! I feel like you achieved so much for a compo game! Definitely an all-5 stars for me. Very well done!
Great job with this game! Feels very complete, especially for 48 hours. Unfortunately, it's just too hard for me. I spent a long time getting 50 coins so I could get the first upgrade, but even with that, I couldn't keep the ball in the air for more than a couple bounces. I tried it on an iPad and that was a lot better, but it kept on crashing after a few balls. So I think this game isn't for me, but other than the difficulty, loved everything else about it.
Really, really nice! Very polished and fun to play. Feels like a finished game! Air is OP :) Got to like 300 something with that and eventually decided to drop the ball so I could try the other spells :D Great job with this entry!
