I like this, but there are a couple problems. The planes and clouds can crash into each other and create a pileup that never resolves. I also can't seem to stun witches; right-clicking on them does nothing.

The game is nice but however quickly become a mess of witches planes and everything, as the person above me I didn't manage to stun witches
Also, the link to the itch version works well but the one on the ldjam page gives an error
I give a baby delivery games with storks 5 stars. But this one deserved it! great cruel baby fun!
thank you for the game
nice game GG! i find it really easy to understand (but the baby sound xD not the best audio experience i must confess! )
I really enjoyed the graphics, but for some reason, the music only played in one ear. Definitely an interesting mechanic! It might have been more convenient to select an object and then indicate the direction, but this way is even more fun. It took some time to get used to it. Great job!
Thank you all for your comments :)
Yeah, i know the baby sounds are awfull ahah, sorry :p
I've made a patched version so it's more playable : https://thomaslebel.itch.io/cigogne-baby-delivery-service-bug-fixed
Not sure why but it seemed like I wasn't able to stun the witches.
Really great idea and fun implementation. Enjoyed the sounds and drawing directions for the birds. :)
Very silly game. I like the mechanic of redirecting flight patterns, and all of the different types of obstacles. Great job!
A unique idea and a reasonably novel gameplay, but it quickly devolves into an unmanageable mess of witches and planes indeed. Still cheers!
The main gameplay mechanic is interesting, but I think you should have cut back on the number of hazards and kept it simple. The game is interesting and engaging early on as you learn how to use the redirecting mechanic, but before the player has a chance to experiment with it, they get swarmed by enemies.
Another issue is that I found it difficult to see the color of the baby, mainly because of how small and obstructed they are by the stork, but also because all storks have a green backpack, which was misleading when quickly trying to sort everything out.
This is an impressive amount of work for the compo, and I like the overall concept, but the lack of polish made it difficult to enjoy the game, and I think you could have gotten away with only having a single hazard (maybe the witch)
The game is good! For enjoy = great job!))
Fun game! Delivered about a hundred orders :)
Before the patch it was very difficult, after - became even a little easier than I wanted =) There were already very few witches, I didn’t notice the planes and clouds either (or they disappeared by the later stages of the game, while in the unpatched in the center of the location there was a catastrophe in the form of a lump of clouds and planes).
Thanks for trying the game :)
@skleembof Yeah, I spent way to much time on art and i'm quite slow at it, so i had to rush everything at the end, forgetting to add an end game :/
I had planned to add 3 colors for the backpack, in line with the diapers but well :/ (as well as 3 more hazards, a tutorial, leaderbord, levels....I was so naive ahah)
It's hard to fight the urge to add "just this one more feature" ahah.
Quite a fun game. I can clearly see why you made a patched version of the game. I like the music and the simple mouse controls. At first, it was hard to make control. And still, it is hard with the distractions. In my opinion, the sprites are too small. Wish it was bigger, but I enjoy playing the game. Very quick reflex needed and fast thinking. Good job submitting for compo.
This game is a lot of fun :D There are quite a few surprises, with the clouds, the witch, the plane ... I enjoyed both the mechanics, and the art style ! Well done.
Cool game, interesting controls also.
Cool game you have here bro!!! Loved the art style!!! Sometimes it gets chaotic, but no problem when you get used to it!
Great submission!
Fun 😂
Interesting concept and music and sound are enjoyable! But gameplay is a bit messy I got a bunch of planes and clouds stuck on my screen and I don't know what to do widat. Also there were empty birds. Not sure if it's intended or not Безымянный.png
This is really clever! I don't know how you got the storks to follow mouse gestures but this is amazing! The sound is appropriate too and I like the witch/baby sound effects too! You're bang on with the theme of the jam too. Nice work!
Thank you all for your comments :D
@thegamer Yeah, i know, the storks and babies are hard to see and all pixelated, i made the sprite quite big and then scaled them down, didn't work really well ahah
@bullex I made the mistake to put everything on the same collision layer, that's why clouds, witches and aircrafts gets stucks against each other ^^' Those bugs are fixed in the patched version :)
@weirdbitgames You can look at the source code ! But to make it simple: - you create a path (array of Vector2) from the shape drawn with your mouse - then create rectangle collision shape between each points of the path - when a stork collide with the path, you give it to her, starting from the point after the closest point (to avoid the stork going backward at first) - finally, make the stork move along this new path :)
**LineDrawer.gd** is used to draw the lines and **Airstream.gd** is used to handle the airstream afterward ;)
@thomaslebel Ooo wow, that sounds fancy hehe!
Ah, how do you do, fellow ~~kids~~ top-down stork game?
I really like your crisp and polished visuals, and the wind path mechanic is wonderfully quirky and unique! I wish you could interact with the clouds via them, that would just make sense! The gameplay descends into chaos quite soon, but I like how that contrasts the initial playful theme (I was very much going for the same subversion with my submission). A very cool entry overall.
Great idea! Fun and challenging. I like the witch's laugh. Nice clear idea & it all came together. Nice job.
The graphics in this game possess a delightful and whimsical art style that adds a touch of magic to the gameplay experience
Haha that was fun! I love that there were so many things going on. Really interesting gameplay with the line drawing
The line drawing concept is super cool! I'm curious what it would feel like with longer lines that stuck around longer and you'd have to prevent things from getting tangled up. Might not work haha but it'd be interesting to explore the line drawing in all kinds of ways. Very cool!
