I like idea of walking with your soul, death sound is a little loud but overall game is fun to play.

The game fails to load for me.

Unable to parse Build/escaper.framework.js.br! This can happen if build compression was enabled but web server hosting the content was misconfigured to not serve the file with HTTP Response Header "Content-Encoding: br" present. Check browser Console and Devtools Network tab to debug.

Was the build with incorrect settings? Does it work for others?

WebGL version doesn't work: webgl_error.png

To fix this you need to turn off compression in Player Settings: webgl_compression.png

Really cool idea, my only complaint would be that its a bit frustrating picking up the wrong key accidentally (which happened to me a lot) and having to restart the level over and over until I manage to not pick it up accidentally.

I really enjoy your concept here. Its a cool idea. I think it needs a lot of work in places though.

Things I liked about your entry: - Very solid idea for gameplay - The soul thing is a cool mechanic - Cute bouncy character with gelatinous feel/sound to him - Movement feels pretty good

Things I think need some work: - Picking up the wrong key is a death sentence, with no way to drop it - Collision is busted on the edges of platforms. You will just get stuck sometimes with no way to get out - The tutorial is really confusing and the rocket is alive in the tutorial with sounds and particles still, with only the sprite disabled - There is no visual indication on walls that you can pass through as the Soul and walls that you cannot. Having a different sprite or color would go a long way in indicating to the player that it is passable - Some of the jumps are borderline impossible to make - There is no music, and no art other than the rocket and the character. The exit is just a red box, platforms are just gray rectangles. Just a little something more to match the character and the rocket would be great - Visual artifacts on all of the key sprites

Overall, I think its the foundation for something really good and interesting, but I believe there are quite a few kinks that need to be ironed out.

Btw...I don't think its very nice to just leave a comment on someone else's game saying "not good". I saw you did that on another person's page (https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/50/ice-olation).

"soul" seems to be a good concept.The platformer part is fast. The door is the same color with ground, which is confusing. "wrong key" part seems too harsh, I guess some positive items like ...time stoper or something would be better.

I always love games that offer to opportunity for the player to separate their soul from their body! A truly great mechanic :)

Cool graphic elements, like the trail. It was hard to know what I was supposed to do, and I eventually got stuck in soul mode carrying the right key around but with nothing happening. I think an easier tutorial level with more instructions would help. The soul mode is a neat idea.

You can't add a tutorial to the official compo version after the contest is over - that's new material, not a bug fix.

Great job making the game jam entry! I see you used the Tarodev's platformer controler! Great use of it! Fun, little game, it was just a bit too difficult for me and I got stuck on third level already.

I have recognized the tardov controller lol and you are making your own character though. Good Job on the "Soul" idea, I think this is potential to make your soul could pass through door and fetch keys for you, and you can really do something more with more delicated level design with that! Nice job!

Fun concept! I think it would be better if you didn't have to hold down m1 just click once to go into nad out of soul mode. Also i felt like the keys hitboxes were a little bit too large.

I had fun playing the game. Great entry!

Nice job, this game has some cool ideas! I couldn't get past the 3rd (I think) level - seemed like the jump was largely impossible.

Nice concept. The controls feels off, and I would love to be able to jump with W key as an alternative to spacebar. Besides that, good job!
