I love this Alchemist-like games. Really cute graphic!
@keseril Thanks! Do you know if we're only able to rate games after the time is over?
@fupi, sorry, but I don't. This is my first ever LD and just second try to make something from scratch (smth more than tutorials).
Gameplay and graphics are solid, if you just keep clikcing the stars you can spawn infinite amounts, atleast in the Web version, didnt get to merge the black holes as the tab i was playing in stopped running in the end haha.
going to give it another go later!
Graphics were nice; Made me think of old miniclip games. Good job!
Great idea and concept 5/5 , Love the art and everything, I kinda created a universe game as well but "Simulation" more like, would appreciate if you can take a look !
Had some fun with it! Bought a black hole and then didn't actually destroy everything, so gave up after that. Not much to critique other than sometimes things not merging because there's an additional item touching, but I'm not sure how you'd fix that.
@kekkodude Clicking the stars in the game or in the shop? Can you tell me the steps you took?
@thoof Did you buy two black holes and merge them? That's how you win. Also I tried to fix the problem of items being in the way during development but it didn't work for some reason. I'll try to give it another try later.
Long waiting for new piece. But concept is good.
@fupi Sure, launched it in chrome, i was pretty far into the game, had bunched up stars of each kind with their corresponding planet in the corners so there where frequent element spawns and belief gain. it was running smoothly. i was trying to merge two stars to get a orange star, i think it skipped a frame and i managed to get a click in-between i think... and then 2 orane stars spawned ontop eachother.
when i spawned the orange sun it hanged for a seacon, i kept on clicking and it kept hanging for aslong as i clicked, when i stopped, that many stars had been spawned... i got curious, the same thing happened whit the other star up-grades!
i tried to replicate it now with no luck, but it took some time to get there haha
@kekkodude That's weird! I'll try to see if I can replicate it.
fortunately there is the quest system to know the available combinations ... Congratulation to you for this very nice project and the assets are very cool
Really cool game you've made, i miss the variety & ended up with tenths of pink stars, but nevertheless a very cool idea and a great game. Nice ending though.
Really cool concept done well. I could see this being a fun game on mobile, perhaps worth developing further. Bravo!
Man, i wish there was a way to create black hole without buying them. Great work on the game!
@blobo I was originally going to add that, if you mixed two pink stars together you'd create a black hole, but that felt like the game ended too quickly. :| But I agree that the prices on the shop are really nonsensical.
Would have loved a recipe book, wonder how far along I got?
Dang I wish you could recycle things... but hey, I don't know why, but it has kept me engaged for so long. You picked the perfect music for this, I love it! (And black holes take forever to get)
Also, I don't know if it's a game design, but you can stack infinite planets on each other and just use one star to reap the benefits. Seems kind of cheap, but I'm doing it... LOL
Rip, I wasted my blackhole
@skyeward There is one in the game page in case you need it. I actually forgot to add that into the game. :(
@jordanvang Yeah that thing with the planets was actually not supposed to be like that, it kind of makes stars useless after you got them all. If I ever continue this game I'll add collision to the planets so you can't stack them. The background music is by Jason Shaw, from freepd.com. He has some amazing relaxing music for the public domain, they help me get in the mood for anything, and they fit like a glove for my games! I used some of his songs in my GMTK submission as well.
Really interesting figuring out the possible combinations.
I really love the idea behind your game, the music and da were simple (in the good sense)but efficient, the principal default is the "forced waiting" to the players which want to experiment the alchemist of your game.
@gamesup-1st-year-promo Thanks! My idea was not to keep the player waiting, but since the game doesn't have that many elements I had to create gameplay somehow. I didn't want to just copy Doodle God.
Music is very good, graphics are super charming and works for your game just right... concept is really cool, but gameplay felt like it's just w8ing simulator, even when the shop was introduced i felt this way
The best part with the game was to try to figure out what combinations you could do (without looking them up), something that I have not seen in other clicker games, well done!
It reminds me of "Alchemist"-like games. Nice concept, fun little game! :)
