Simple, but great! The game is short, but the idea of life exchange is interesting  Just one thing - for me the characters are a bit slow, but maybe it's just my feeling.
Anyway, good job, keep on creating

Interesting idea, I like the character change mechanic, leaves room for a lot of fun ideas on top of that. Unfortunately I couldn't make it past the second level. Also I feel like the running speed is way too low.
Pretty cool puzzle game! Feels a bit slow with the movement, and sometimes I could jump infinitely ? :-D Anyways, interesting idea with the whole two-character thing. Take a moment for your brain to process.
it lacks a little finishing on the visual, but the change of character is super cool, all works nice game

@noobexception, @diesdas , @soerenbachnielsen, @tasakasama Thanks for the nice feedback.
I just decided to continue on the game and the first thing I did was to increase the character speed. Man, why didn't I do this before. It's much better.

I really enjoyed the game! Nice music! also like the floaty jump and the puzzles! :D
This would make a great mobile game... loved the concept and the puzzles.
This is a clever idea, but the platforming is a little slow, music is pretty good.

The game felt a bit slow, but I liked the concept!

Fun little platformer. I like the idea of exchanging resources like this. The theme could have been a bit stronger. Music was nice but got a bit repetetive quickly, especially with the 8-bit like sounds you used. Good job overall.

I enjoy this game; the graphics are nicely done, with fun music. Try increasing the speed of the player, and maybe some instructions / tutorial.
This is a really interesting concept; I love two characters games. I have some suggestions:
- Maybe make it so one character is controlled with WASD, the other with the arrow keys, so you can control them both at the same time.
- The lose sound scared my soul out of me. Lower that down haha
- The coin's life bar is at the center of my screen instead of the right side. You probably did the bars with the "Unity Canvas", so probably you just forgot to set the coin's bar pivot to the top left side in the rect transform. Should be an easy fix.
- There is some walljump glitchness in the game. Perhaps consider creating a "Physics Material 2D" in Unity and setting its friction and bounciness to 0 and then attaching that onto the 2 characters in the Unity inspector; that might fix your problem.
Pretty sweet game overall, keep developing it, I'd love to play a full version of it with more features
The concept is cool, but the game is a little boring. The movement should be quicker!

Thanks @nico-the-pro for your great feedback!
I really like the idea of controlling both characters with different keys, I will implement and try it out.
For the material with no friction: Initialy I had it like that, but the problem then was that if you switch characters while one moves, you could slide off a platform without noticing. I didn't like that and removed it.
In my new version which I am working at the game, I changed the platforms to have the sides slippery. It's better now.

The concept is nice, I tell you. I only felt the game being a little to slow, like other people said, and the music was too short.
Also, the game over screen was a jumpscare for me hahaha.
The concept is really nice. As @faiorb said, it feels a bit slow. Also the life bar of the coin and the hearts decrease toghether, is this correct? I feel like they should go down as you use the correct object.

Thanks @faiorb for the testing and feedback.
@vinegarlove: The simultanious decrease of the health is how I implemented it, but your idea sounds interesting as well. Thanks a lot for ypir input.
Janky, janky controls, you might want to check what you're doing in your update function because the characters were stuttering along every frame and it felt as though I was dragging them through gravel rather than having smooth platforming and responsive jumps. With very little to offer in terms of music and sound, it's clear that most of the effort went into the puzzle design, which wasn't bad. An interesting take on the theme, and not awful for something made in a weekend (and you finished it which is awesome considering so many people didn't - and the theme this year was pretty tough too!). I hope you continue to practice your game dev skills and come back for future game jams, you've clearly got the right stuff to become a good developer with time and hardwork.
A solid entry.
**Positive things: **
- great entry for only one person
**Negative things: **
- music is a little bit annoying with the time - the games feels a little bit slow
Keep developing it. It has potential.
Hi! Great idea!
But I would change few things. Active character should be the only one losing "health" and also I would like the game to be more dynamic!
This could be also great game for two in couch coop mode!
PS. Ow and the music is really annoying :c

Wow, what a unique idea! I liked it a lot! The graphics are simple and cute. It was just a bit hard and unforgiving for the first level haha, but kept me want to keep going :D The music with it's simplicity and 8bitness fits perfectly. Good job! I feel like you could also make a great puzzle game with this if life doesn't drain over time but much rather every action (step, jump etc) drains energy and you need to think of the perfect amount of actions to complete each level or something like that. either way, well done!
Also, you provided a webbuild, so that's an extra plus lol ^^
Nice game concept. Switching characters could add a lot of mechanical complexity to the game, but I feel it would be better if each character had different traits and required working together to solve a puzzle.
The controls felt a little slippery, almost like walking on ice; the heart and coins got stuck in walls quite a bit. Aside from that, I love this concept! Probably one of the most interesting ideas out of the games I've played so far!

I like the overall concept, but the implementation feels a little clumsy. Mechanics feel a bit arbitrary: why do I have to "unlock" the ability to heal by picking up coins/hearts in each level, and why do I have to go to a specific platform to do it? In the time it takes me to get both the heart and the coin to the green platform, I lose about as much health as I recover. I'd also prefer a stronger indication of the level exit.

Very interesting concept. how reasonable would it be for one character to be controlled by arrow keys, and another by WASD?

Overall: Interesting gameplay mechanic but more careful level design would be needed to make it shine through.
Fun: I think the healing mechanic is a clever one but I only needed it in level 2! Levels 1 and 3 can be completed by just getting the keys and going to the exit, which kinda defeats all your hard work implementing this interesting gameplay twist! (Like others, I also thought the movement could be sped up.)
Innovation: Yeah! the healing mechanic is quite unique.
Theme: Yes
Graphics: Looks pretty rushed.
Audio: It grates a bit so I turned it off.
Humor: N/A?
Mood: I don't think there's much of one. But I never really know what it takes to make a game with good "mood". Maybe textured platforms, background art, and animated character eyes & legs? Maybe a story? I dunno.
I have to agree that the game is too slow. Since the energy-drain mechanic is basically a time limit, the game would feel more engaging if the whole thing felt more frantic.
This would be really interesting with couch co-op play. There's a kernel of a really good idea in here and you could make something big out of this.
