It’s a very good idea to include a warning for those with photosensitivity.
Personally, I find that while it’s an excellent piece of work for a "retro game" theme, it doesn’t necessarily fit the "OldTech" theme. It’s not the first game I’ve tried that explores a retro-style concept.
Regardless, it is very well executed.
Nice concept of past-era mini-games. I noticed a bug in Pong where at high speeds the ball gets stuck in the paddle and bounces back and forth. Or is that not a bug and meant to be that way? 😄
Tennis was my favorite. I was hoping there'd be something more, though. The fact you can only win Ping by breaking it made me think it'd be cool if each of the games worked that way and you get something special for breaking all 6 games.
Also I'm not totally sure but I think displaying multiple screens full of text like in the Lamentation of Jeremiah was straight up not possible on the Atari. At least, I've never seen an Atari 2600 game do that. Maybe if you filled nearly the entire ROM with font glyphs you could do it?
Takes me back. Nailed the style of the Shmatari with those non square pixels. I love how Tennis is just Ping again 😂.
it's pretty fun. I wish the hurdles game sped up over time.
That was very atmospheric and warming experience, I played every game and liked them all! Seems like you can't win in the ping pong tho. Very cool entry, good job!
