I've been up to 5 years old. I didn't see the option to start the game again. It was a nice implementation for the theme. Quite successful.

Delicious crayons.

I succeed until year 13. I found the game a little bit repetitive, but funny. I only find 1 star, I don't get how to find them!

Really interesting spin on card games... at first I was confused about how to succeed, but realized all I need to do is save "discard" cards for last in my hand. It was very easy to win by just using all my discard cards last each hand. It's an awesome concept, but needs some tweaks to be a little less easily abused.

@hermbit Thanks for playing!

Yup, I didn't really have time to balance things, but there's a little fun to be had in what works. :)

I succeeded in playing until I was seven years old, and the picture of the game was very comfortable to watch

Year 20 and collect 6 stars, this game is cool but cards but the cards lack a little visual :)

Surprised that this game did not get more attention so far! Loved the mechanics. Obviously it could be a little bit more polished, but for a jam entry this is already impressive. I would definitely play a post-jam version of this game! (and stop eating crayons until I'm 34.)

This game is really cool ! I win life at 21 ahah ! The idea of mechanics is really good, maybe a bit too simple but it's quite good for a jam entry !

Congratulations !

Lots of fun with a ton of humor! It was kinda tricky at first to figure out how the cards worked but after a few tries it kinda started to make sense so a tutorial (even just in the descriptions) would be a nice addition to the game. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to eat an ungodly amount of crayons or pet the dog for over a decade but if that's how you win at life then I won't question it too much.

I liked it! Two things were confusing for me: 1. Never figured out what made me draw more cards. Some cards said "Draw 1 card" or the like, but sometimes I drew cards without using one of those. 2. I "won life" at age 21. Don't know why I won.

imphenzia 2019-05-20 17:19

I got 5 stars (I think) at year 19 and I go the "won life" message too, but I'm not quite sure what I was doing in the end =) I think the feedback of the cards and what they do could be improved with some player feedback but maybe there is some standard solitare mechanic that I should be aware of maybe?? =) I'm also not sure why "Rainbow poo" is a tragic event?

I ate crayons all the way into my thirties 10/10

karai17 2019-05-21 00:10

Interesting little game. I managed to confuse it though and I got soft locked~

ian-kettlewell 2019-05-21 01:47

@karai17 Sorry about that! There are a few bugs I didn't have time to fix :(

karai17 2019-05-21 03:28

No worries mate, that happens to all of us. :)
