I liked the music, stick man and his animations. The jumping was a bit unresponsive. Died many times because i pressed jump and he didnt jump for some reason.

This game definitely needs a coyote jump system. Much like @helekopeter I died many times due to unresponsive controls :(
The controls feel sticky? No pun intended, hehe. It is very hard to perform the jumps accurately, definitely worth looking into the coyote jump mechanic neon shark mentioned.
Yeah, I could not get past the trampoline level, lol. Got stuck on the platform ledges a few times too. I also feel like you could have had the instructions as part of the background image, and have the character either enter with the parcel or pick it up by walking over it, rather than making them sit through a little mini-cutscene every time they have to restart the level.
Enjoyed the black& White art and the vibes. As others have said, the jumping was a little unresponsive and I couldn't manage to get the trampoline to bounce me high enough to reach the second. Solid idea though.
Very good, however the jump was a bit unresponsive like other people have mentioned, i also had some issues with the UI. Still a very fun game though!
it took me like 8 tries to get passed the tutorial portion and here's my main observation: when the player is on the edge of the platform they are still colliding with it but it's treated as falling and you are unable to jump. this happened to me multiple times making it near impossible to keep up with the movement of the level. Still, I enjoyed the challenge :)
I like your art style and the music was fitting. Unfortunately I had to give up at the trampoline level. It's frustrating when you have to wait at one point to learn a "hard" gameplay element.
nice game, idea is like doodle jump, its is old, but who knows, maybe it will be better than overhyped delivery themes, good idea!
The music was pretty good. I feel like it would of been better to introduce the mechanics of the game in levels without auto scrolling. With the autoscroll, it ended up being pretty tricky to get a grasp on how the trampoline works as I kept getting booted back to the start after a bounce or two.
The sound track man was slapping, loved it! Enjoyed playing this quite a bit! Good game!
Maybe it's because I'm terrible at platformers in general, but I couldn't get past the first level due to the jump not always working. I agree that the first level maybe shouldn't have autoscroll. Cool music and sounds!
Liked the character design. Hope you had fun participating in your first jam. Was our first one, too!
Idea is good, but i couldn't reach high enough to contunie the game after the 1st trampoline :(
Then janky animations sure made me look twice. This game has a special way of being incrdedible. And i have to git gut :(
I feel like I can play this in my TI-84
The idea is there but I think you should spend more time fixing the controls. It all dependes on those. Keep going on <3!
Nice game!
The decision not to be able to jump at the edge of a platform is a bit frustrating. I think, the control is quite responsive, even if it feels like otherwise.
Also, in the first level, it feels as if running before jumping actually makes the jump less high. At least I was not able to reach the first platform this way. It would probably feel more natural if these jumps were actually a bit higher than the jumps without prior movement.
I quite liked that the hands were hitboxes of the character. It probably makes the game more frustrating but I enjoyed clinging at the first platform from below :-)
thank you for the comments, actually I did not know how to do the jump mechanics well, so I just try and error on the jump mechanics with some value. But from the comments above, I learned something new, which is the coyote jump system. Thank you very much
I agree with the sticky controls, I think fixing that would really elevate this game. One thing I really did like is how integrated the tutorial is with the gameplay. That makes it feel really organic!
It's a nice idea, but unresponsive controls and tutorial blocking movement are really frustrating.
Cute character (and dogs)! Nice music too, just wish it didn't restart every time you died 😅 Did feel a bit janky sometimes tho, like when you got stuck on the edge of a platform. Could use a bit more polish but neat!
