This game has a very "programmer art" aesthetic, and I like it :). The movement is a bit floaty, but once you're used to that it's fine. I wasn't able to shoot for some reason? The bow was drawn when I pressed space, but no arrow was shot. Well done!

Nice idea with the platforms vanishing and coming back. Also the customization was a nice touch.

This is really clever! I just wish it were a little more playable. The lack of feedback for firing had me confused at first; the lack of player projectiles really threw me off. ^_^;
I like the concept of the platforms constantly shifting, so you have to wait to hit certain targets. With a bit more polish and some tightening of the jump physics/mechanics, this would be *really really good.*
Arrow flying after shooting the bow would help a lot. Nice concept. It just needs more polish.
The customization screen was cool! Haven't seen that many games that allow you to do your own difficulty balancing lol. I concur with the other comments here about it being better if there were an arrow animation so it'd be easier to know what you were shooting at and how to adjust your aim. I also wasn't sure if I was jumping wrong, but I couldn't jump high enough to reach the next level of platforms? Still, fun game!

Interesting idea, but the difficulty of figuring out the arrow shooting mechanic made it kinda hard to figure out what was going on. Programmer art can be fun, but I might've added a little more color or even tried simplifying the Jeremy sprite so that it fit better with the minimalist look. I did find the music weirdly catchy, though, and will have that little riff in my head for a while!

I liked it and it was fun to be able tweak the game parameters as well. I think the jump physics could need a bit of adjustment. Otherwise a good game. Well done!
The customization of the game was a really nice touch, allowing the player to set the game to the difficulty that suits them is a good idea. The jumping felt a bit stiff, and it would have been nice to see the player arrows. But the art and concept were good so it was fun overall and obviously fits the theme. Awesome work.
good one
I really liked the idea but I think you just missed the arrow graphic when he was shooting, it took me some time to realise he was actually shooting ;) But overall a game with a lot of potential.

Cool concept. I wish I could see the arrows that I was shooting. I like the main characters visual style. I could easily see this game in an arcade machine.

From games like this classic character like Sonic or Pacman are born.
Also, game crashed when I set 35x88 map.
Interesting game idea. However current implementation has a few problems.
First of all, the game feels very claustrophobic. I constantly keep bumping my head into top platforms, when I'm trying to dodge bolts or get on the other row of platforms. Secondly, the fact that you can't see your own bolts/arrows makes it hard to understand if the shot was even made or not.
I think fixing these problems can make this game lots of fun. Nonetheless good job on making a compo entry! It's always great to see what people can make on their own in such a short time.

The idea is okay, but for me the game felt really unfinished. I was not able to jump from platform to platform, and I am not sure the shooting is working. But anyway I liked the music.

It seems like I'm just stuck. I can't seem to jump high enough to reach any of the higher platforms, and I can't jump over gaps. I'm not sure what I'm missing or supposed to be doing.

As mention before it's got really that programmer art aesthetic, which I guess is sometimes big part of LD and mostly compo games. Good job.

This game is bad. The music is annoying, character movement is clunky and not responsive at times, the shooting doesn't seem to work and instant death makes the game last only a few seconds. The floor sometimes disappears even before you start moving.
Nice character.
