I really liked the idea of combining a 2d character with a 3d environment. The levels also look great
I like this near object clipping, I'm wondering how it was made
You're definitely on to something here. It has potential to be a good stealth game.
I just love the shader you used for the walls. The controls are a bit finicky, but it somehow emanates a sense of urgency when running from an enemy in a turn based game. Just wow. Nice
I do like the idea a lot, it's a little rough, but man does it just look nice! well done~
Cool movement system, reminds me of "Card dungeon". Would be an amazing building block for a full game!
Looking good and nice concept. But very slow, its uncomfortable
It's not exactly a rhythm game, but after spending too much time on necrodancer I felt at home. Make more.
Pathing is very nice, but I don't like how diagonal movement is sqrt(2) times faster. And I appreciate the cover of Staying Alive, but it appears to be the only link to the theme.
@alaah Yes, unfortunately, I did not manage to implement all my plans and to open the theme :(
Interesting gameplay, nice graphics, thanks for this game !
Love the graphics
Very neat idea, mouse controls did feel kind of awkward, but was worth it for the rhythmic movement.
Cool entry, strategy / stealth game, you did really good for a "compo" game!
Some improvements from my point of view: Lack of sound effects, mainly for the character itself, i would like to hear more sounds like the footsteps, cloths shrugging, heavy backpack shaking, damage feedback like the attacker grunts and the protagonist pain with some sword wooshes and blood spilling!
An ambience that could reinforce the environment, like the reverberation of some sound effects since it's a cave, some cave sounds like echoes of water drops, small creatures, howling wind and some localized flames sounds close to the torchs!
@ivan-garcia-filho Thanks for your feedback!
The 3D/2D mixed art is pretty cool. You have some cool shaders as well. Maybe you spent a bit too much on those? It was a bit hard to get the game at first. I wanted to loot the boxes, so I walked to them and then I didn't get the tutorial text until I restarted. The music makes me want to stop playing LD games completely. This has a lot of potential though!
