incredible experience, my only complaint could be that it was too short!

red-horde-games 2026-04-20 09:24

Surreal experience lmao

mdotedot 2026-04-20 09:45

Yeah TOO SHORT; What a trip. Good entry on those signals from the world.

Short and weird, real shame there's not more or much interaction, I can see the potential! Thanks for unleashing this onto the world!

The initial twist got me good, that was very cool! I think it got stuck though, after I flew through the layers, I ended up in this broken-looking state and I could hear shooting sounds (I think?) which made me think maybe there's more but it's not working.. not sure!

@graebor keep shaking the mouse!

Love the 4th wall breaking effect, very fun!

A very bizarre, surreal game—I like it. I couldn't figure out what exactly I had to do, but maybe that's part of the experience. It takes imagination to make a game like this—it needs to be fleshed out, but there is a lot of potential here. I hope you develop this.

@binroot oh geeze, I don't know why that didn't work before! I'm glad I came back to see the rest, there was a lot more chaos beyond that point

Very cool intro

We had a great time playing your game [on stream](https://www.youtube.com/live/AsrUFSHAVx4?t=2144s). Check out the link to hear our feedback.

first go my mouth was open in gasp the whole time how cool!

aweskybear 2026-04-26 08:11

xD LOL! Definitely out of the box experience. That is not that often seen here. Unfortunately, from what I have seen, this is not the type of creation that is appreciated enough.

For the feedback, I wish it was longer, as anyone else. But also - I would like to believe there are some deeper references with the pages the skull went through. And ofcourse, more interactions. BUT AGAIN, I *do* know how hard it is to do all of this cohesively in a way that makes sense!

All in all, appreciating the meta-ness of the game! So congrats on the effort.

Twist at the start was fantastic. I probably got to the last part in a unique way: I was confused about getting past the first part (EDIT: same as graebor), and I still think maybe something is off-screen for me. I was trying to zoom, and ctrl-mousewheel didn't work. So then I hit ctrl-shift-+ but that didn't work, so then I tried ctrl-shift-0 to set default zoom just in case, and poof to my great surprise I was teleported into the battle scene. Later I found that 9 takes me to the second scene. After that, I figured out how to progress through the game normally (just wiggle the mouse and hold the key at the end of the first part, something seems to be happening but I don't know what).

So a wild ride. Love the crazy unique/experimental entries you come across in LD. Again, that first page is a masterpiece in misdirecting my expectations and then subverting them. Well done!

Wow, what a trip! Took me couple of tries to fully grasp the gameplay and couldn't make sense of the "ratings" at the end, but those are minor nitpicks. Thoroughly enjoyed this! 👏
