Very cool atmosphere, bit spooky too! Also nice story, it made me go on to find out more. Would have liked to know what happens when going up again - but making up the ending for myself works too :) Good job!

Nice Prototype :-) for the next step a goal would be cool. Maybe you have to build a bridge/structure to get to the next island while the current island gets flooded?
I thought the death font and font animation didn't match 100% with the rest of the pixel-Stile and there was a spooky glitch sound when I died.

Hi! Nice game, simple, easy to pick up.
My main critique is the respawn time being a tad too long.
Unfortunately I reached a point in the underwater world where I became invisible on entering a new screen. By pressing the arrow keys the camera went further down the tunnel at a high speed until it stopped. LD57.PNG
