@mgear what do you mean ? you moving downwards room by room ..if this is a bug can you attach something to show ?
The idea of the game is funny, I laughed a bit. Unfortunately, my abilities are very poor in such games, so I couldn't get very far, but I still really enjoyed the game.
Super dash wheel chair? Hells yea!
The platforming ended up being very challenging for me. I to the second checkpoint in the water level, then when I was doing the jump from the ledge I got stuck and died a few times and then it panned down and seemed to not place my character model again.
The idea is good, just probably takes someone better at platformers to enjoy it.
One thing that it did take me a bit to realise in the first room was that you need to dash then jump, rather than jump then dash.
Wow, great game! The control is super smooth. And I'm surprised by the variety of levels packed in this small game. An additional check point after the first actual platformer room might be nice, I feel that was the most difficult part of the game. The rest of the game felt a bit easier, or maybe because i got better lol. Also, I think I got soft locked in the water level in this location on my first playthrough. Can't jump out or die. Had to restart. Screenshot 2025-04-07 123437.png
I thought I was clever swimming up and falling along the whole level to speedrun.... well, time to restart everything :joy:
Loved the music change when entering different zones, and the pixelart is nice!
The pink levels are haaaaaaaaaard (but gotta love challenging games!) Maybe the spikes hitbox could do with a liiiittle bit of tolerance?

@colisan Congratulation! @absolute-garbage Thx - yeah you need to smash the jump button onground in water..thats a bit confusing..need to fix adjust this a bit. @ricesteam yeah :D
@vsha-s-kovralina hey np - this game is a bit hard :) Hope you had some fun tho.
i think its a bit inspired by celeste as i am playing currently 7c lol :joy:
I also had weak the harder levels a bit (made them more fair ..i hope i got it).
I have no idea why but the embed isn't working on my laptop, and the download isn't downloading. It's probably an "it's me not you" issue, but just wanted to give a heads up in case there is actually something funky with the download.
Either way, I'll try again with the embed on my desktop later.
The idea and execution for this game is really great. The girl in the wheelchair is a very charming character and stands out, good job. The audio is really well done, simple NES like music, fitting the game. I just wish I didn't suck so bad at these games haha. I died way too many times, and I admit, I didn't manage to finish the entire game.
Cool dandy style platformer, loved the idea of a character in a wheelchair and the dynamic descent into the depths through obstacles! The only thing is that the musical accompaniment is not too pleasing to the ears.
Realized that I had to hit space instead of enter to make the embed run... oops. But the download still isn't working for me.
I'm not a platformer person, but in terms of levels/zones:
First level seemed odd that the hardest part was at the beginning, then the rest was controlled falls.
Second level seemed similar at first, but then the last checkpoint was really nasty. I ended up getting through it with patience.
Third level: I encountered the same apparent softlock but realized that if I hit it while moving right and mashing space I could make the hop. Still, needs a tweak since the jump feels even less effective in that spot than it did in the actual water level. After that, I got stuck at within that first area, with the tight jump horizontal jump and the saw at the corner. I know that with a well timed jump dash I could probably clear it, but since I'm not a platformer person, I gave up after 10-15 tries maybe.
Other than level design, I really liked the art and the extra bits like the water effect and bubble coming from the character. I personally didn't like the music, found it a bit to grating and repetitive after a few minutes, but maybe that's just the NES style and not your fault.
Overall nice game!
The download link doesn't work
@oter @myezko thank you - i see it now and fixed it. Seems like the LDJam page screwed it. Should work now :)
Very snappy game mechanics and nice game. I liked the crazy music as well!
When I first saw it I didn't expect it to be as challenging as it was! Haha, I had a lot of fun even though I didn't make it to the end
Art is fantastic, level design was great (at least as far as I made it), the only thing that might feel a bit repetitive after dying so many times is the music, but other than that I enjoyed it all around.
Voted! Great entry ♥
Your game has a really smooth, polished game feel, I think due to controls being responsive and the punchy sound effects (especially a fan of the death sound!). As I think others have said, the hitbox for spikes feels a bit severe and I could definitely see it being potentially frustrating for some players coming into the game with expectations from similar platformers, but that did make the game more challenging and rewarding as a result! I also thought the checkpoints you implemented were well thought out.

Good art and nice gameplay! I hope this young lady make it to the home ^_^
@xpoho great :D
Nice platformer. This game takes some time to get used to but then it plays quite smoothly. I managed to get to the high-gravity (pink) part before giving up.
The pixel graphics are nice and the sounds are fun. I really liked the different environments with different gravity. The music is a bit annoying though, too many high notes and too repetitive.
Hi! Nice game, simple, easy to pick up.
My main critique is the respawn time being a tad too long.
Unfortunately I reached a point in the underwater world where I became invisible on entering a new screen. By pressing the arrow keys the camera went further down the tunnel at a high speed until it stopped. LD57.PNG
Keep it up!
@fabian-g oh thx - yeah it might be spawn on top and not correctly...
Nice! Too hard for me! restarting at the beggining of the color instead of the frame makes it a bit frustrating (maybe a "hard" / "easy" mode for jam reviewer where you restart at different depth)
also : When you dash from right to left, the sprites still are facing right
Oooh I'm BAD at this! The art is really cool and the idea too! Great work
Nice one!
Lost some lives on the pink-ish biome as well, but I did it! :sunglasses: Loved the palette, and the challenge!
Great job!

Amazing... it's too hard for me but it's really awesome. Cool character too, I love unconventional protags. Levels are fun as well.
So hard! But a cool game! It somehow gave me 'LISA: The Painful' vibes.
Awesome platformer, loved the challenge. Some of those levels were very tricky, was on the edge of my seat trying to weave through all the spikes in the falling through water section. The dash was also satisfying and had a really cool visual effect. Very cool game, thank you for making it!
Interesting game with an unusual character. I guess that this is the first time I play an invalid with a wheelchair (and why not?). Ironically, the movements are smooth and the mechanics work well as expected. It's not always easy - and I die often trying to pass through levels. I have fun playing. Just one negative point - The music is too repetitive, but I know that it is not a big problem. Thank you for this entry - and for your comment about my own project. I wish you the best ++
@geckoo1337 thank you for playing my game too :) Yeah i plan in the postjam version to replace the music which one i didnt made (i am not good in making music).
Although these game mechanics aren't the most innovative, the inclusion of a wheelchair user as the mc is pretty cool! And the level design is also very well done! Had fun playing, though I wasn't able to get past the narrow corridor with spikes, I suspect near the end.
Simple but fun game! I wished there were some more checkpoints as I felt some sections are a bit too long with a few blind jumps. But otherwise the level design was good! Overall I think the water physics worked a bit better for me than the normal sections, because falling felt a bit fast to me.
Simple yet fun little game, the hit boxes might be a bit too large, kept hitting the spikes way to easy but other than that, I had no issues, the graphics are charming and the challenge is just about right! Very much enjoyed :)
Sad to say I couldn't make it past the diagonal water tunnels.
If you tweaked post-compo, tweaking the hitboxes on the spikes would make it more forgiving , and perhaps a slower acceleration ramp for the precise moves. There were times, especially in the initial brown zone where the player didn't appear to be hitting the spikes, say if adjacent to a wall with spikes on top, but would explode anyway.

@johnnysix Thank you - yeah i am currently working on a post jam version and i also recognized this issue with stucking at the top in knowhere. Will try to fix this. The tunnel is a bit harder (like Celeste 7C hard lol).
Graphics are cute and I like the overall concept. My complaints are that some of the spikes felt like their hitboxes were much larger than others, as in there were some spots I kept dying even though I felt like I was definitely NOT touching spikes, and others where I thought I hit the spikes and I did not die.
Also, I managed to get stuck in the area where you leave the water, after dying I was spamming dash and apparently dashed over the top of the map or something, and physics just pushed me down outside the map (I assume, because the camera followed me down a bit then stopped)
Overall, still a pretty fun game. Volume settings would be nice to have, but I just turned down my headphones quite a bit since the sounds were a bit loud. Good job though :)
Pretty solid game! Controls felt responsive and snappy. Pixel art looked good, and I appreciate the variety in the visuals of the different areas. I also appreciate that the areas had different music, although I found both tracks to be kinda grating. I think the game also lacked variety; only so much you can get out of spikes and buzzsaws, and the dash doesn't do much to set it apart from other similar games. I guess this game's unique focus is downwards movement, but it could've used more mechanics that play off of that, like the gun boots in Downwell. But the game was still solid overall, and I enjoyed my playthrough. Nice work!
