I'd wanted more enemy behaviors/types, yeah, and considered spending more time improving their tracking. (My code has a STATE.PATROL that's just #TODO!) But towards the end of Day 1, I basically imposed a feature freeze; figured it'd be better to spend my remaining time making more levels with the tools I had, and it gave me a clearer path to finishing.

There's also some *really* unfair setups I found during level design - instant deaths; zigzags through even tighter gaps that don't look possible to get through, and only barely are - that I cut for the better. Though I'm tempted to go back and release, like, a "troll level" pack someday.

Twilight Beacon by graebor 2026-04-23T16:42:47Z

Gorgeous aesthetic, loved the gameplay loop and how it gradually gets more and more overwhelming. Going up from Normal I struggled a little in quickly figuring out which dish each beam was aimed at... I don't think I ever got *good* at that, but once I got the hang of it a bit more it was pretty fun, great way to increase the difficulty.

Lock by mahalis 2026-04-24T15:35:12Z

Ah, procedural, that explains it - impressive on the one hand, but sometimes I'd really struggle with a level and then get a way easier seeming one right after, which felt weird. Got to Level 16! Pretty good puzzle, will say sometimes I couldn't figure out what to do and I "accidentally" solved it mid moving things around; other times I saw the solution but struggled rotating correctly. (Not sure if an additional control for rotating around the direction of the face you're looking at would help, instead of having to move the camera, rotate, and move back, or that'd end up taking away some of the point of the puzzle.)

Love the aesthetic, perfect vibes! Music fits that well, maybe a little repetitive but such are game jams. I do agree some sound effects could go a long way - especially for some more recognition of when you do enter a code might be nice? Would love to see more.

Signal Steve by Isaac Hisey 2026-05-01T16:01:11Z

Took me far too long to realize the doors were matching specific things it was telling me and I didn't have to match perfectly or just guess and it worked sometimes... but a lot of that's probably on me. Puzzles got pretty good! Difficulty curve felt maybe a little uneven in the middle - not sure how much of that was me just getting better, of course - but definitely still some good puzzles toward the end. Movement did feel just a little slow for some of the larger puzzles. Really liked how the sound effects fit the signal changes!

Wave Matcher by R4ndomThunder 2026-05-05T01:06:02Z

Yeah that... feels like a very tight tolerance especially given how much the keys move it, I managed to get 2 and it felt like a lot of luck making this last little adjustments back and forth. At first I thought it just wasn't reading my submit input somehow

Smoke Operator by cagibi 2026-05-06T01:26:17Z

Very charming! Bit disappointed I got too frustrated with a few small annoyances (around the smoke dodging level) to see it all the way through (previously being stuck for a while at the fan level, having not realized yet that smoke could go through walls, until I read the comments here.) Realized on the spider level that falling dead enemies can still kill you... which felt pretty bad to me at first, but on the other hand does add an interesting dodge to it once you know.

HeliRescue by darkshadow 2026-04-23T16:29:13Z

Graphics pretty nice, enjoyed the music and the signal beeps. After my first win, I'd also like to see the difficulty increased some! But hard to figure out exactly where to set that in a game jam, probably *was* best to err on the side of more people seeing it through.

Space walk by Shaggy 2026-05-05T00:56:18Z

Technically very impressive! I found extending your tether too much made it way too difficult to control and easy to get knocked all over. Eventually I managed to build and tether my way to one piece, then I struggled for a while not being able to see any others... apparently at some point bouncing around I managed to collect them by accident? Not the most satisfying way to win, but I enjoyed this.

Connection Restoration by BrahGold 2026-05-08T03:22:28Z

Cute little thing. Splitter mechanic was cool, would've loved to see more done with that if time allowed!

Fresneltic by Shoalmuse 2026-05-02T16:33:46Z

Very cool concept! Do feel like it could've used a little more explanation - also took me a while and probably these comments to realize you had to click on the ships - but once I got the hang of it I got... alright at it. Love how it gets more difficult the more ships you're trying to guide in. Simple but effective audio.

Beat the Signal by Fassenberg 2026-04-23T16:17:01Z

Love how the music goes with the action, feels pretty good to move in! I wasn't quite good enough to better than 490

Follow the signal by cupofmilk7 2026-04-20T15:28:44Z

Love the vibes here, and the gameplay once I finally started to get my head around it. Curious to see how/if it could be expanded further! Will say the "save signal for last turn" felt a little less useful than it could've been, as far as I can tell the "do nothing" signal you start each turn with means you can't directly add onto it... but wait, I guess +2 All still works, there's layers to this already!

What's Wrong With My Keyboard? by Ch1k0_9kA 2026-05-04T15:09:06Z

Lovely graphic style, nice chill music. Could've used maybe like one more tutorial level to ease in? And I was a little disappointed that, after introducing the save box, it didn't go anywhere with it after... but such is the fate of jam games, would love to see more.

Tamarid Mission by galareteg 2026-05-05T02:23:37Z

Simple but very effective, love the mood in this. The text had me wishing the resolution was just a little higher though, I had to memorize from the altitude settings I was able to read to know where I was on the less readable numbers.

Signal surfer by poddub 2026-04-24T00:57:28Z

Movement feels very satisfying when you get it working! Game overs seem delayed sometimes - feel like I'm not quite getting enough feedback on what exactly killed me or why some of those landings were fine (if slowing) but not others.
