+ Cute sound effects + Responsive controls + Typing game + High scores + Simplistic graphics which do what they have to do
Things that I would've loved to see (these are bullet points, not minuses :') )
- Difficulty scaling - Even a slight consistent background noise OR different pitches on SFX - Different key settings - Lower starting volume
Overall, pretty decent first entry! Well done!

I got 800! I love the little sound effects and animations you added to the crowd. Those small little thing can add a lot. One struggle I had was that I kept staring at the next input prompt so I missed all the combat above. Maybe a short delay between the next prompt so I could see the great art you made. Congrats on getting a game together in only 48 hours!!
I really like some of the sounds. I wish it dolled out the text over time rather than all in the front. It would be nice for the tutorial to be a bit more integrated. I wish I has to choose which attack to do based on what the characters were doing, right now I don't really look at them but it would be cool if I choose the word to type based on if they are red or blue or maybe I do a spell to defend before it hits me.

Super fun! I got 425, but my fingers tend to cramp right away. It took just the right amount of time to get used to the controls though. Super fun mechanic, and you could probably reuse it easily if you feel like moving away from the summoning theme
Cute entry! Love the very enthusiastic voice in the menu. The gameplay is very VERY simple. I think a system where you memorize key combos to cast different spells could spice it up, but it would need some other systems that interact with it to make it interesting. Overall this is very good for your first time! It's very hard to get something out so I am rooting for you :sunglasses:

Very nice game! Would have been cool if you could slowly unlock more letters and have to type more complex patterns as it went on.
Simple, would almost lean into the typing learning game feel and type phrases or something instead
Simple yet effective gameplay! It lacked some difficulty scaling so after a while it was to repetitive but i enjoyed it overall
I thought I wasn't doing too great, but got 1475!
Reminds me of those typing games from school, you've implemented the input mechanic really nicely.
One thing to try out, perhaps colour-code each input (e.g. W highlighted blue, S red etc.).

Works really well for what it is. Personally I'm not very motivated by scores, so I stopped playing after one playthrough. Having a timer on a jam game playthrough is pretty smart, though
Loved the sound effects, they gave so much humor to the game! For me it got a bit repetitive after a while so I wish there was one more mechanic or something added at around mid point. But it's a gamejam game and for short play session was good and engaging.
Nice 1v1 hadouken simulator! I really liked the way you showed the button combos. Being able to see ahead helped me keep up my speed. Really fun spellcasting! Did I have fun? VERY MUCH SO. Really satisfying to go fast with this. But would I wanna play another round? I think I'm good. Didn't get hit once in the whole round. Really fun for a once-playthrough, though! Nice work! The intro title sound was funny ^_^

That's really cool! If you added a bit of juice, audio effects and particle effects it could be even more fun to play and to watch. Thank you!

Fun simple game! I thought it was really fun and the announcement audio at the start was so great.
It would be cool to increase the attack of the enemies though, it never felt like I was in "danger" and more just mashing combos as quick as I could (which was still fun) Also high score of 1900

Really enjoyable and cool first entry. As already mentioned it lacked some difficulty but there is only so much you can do in 48 hours :D

That's your first jam? Very nice! Congratulations on completing something interesting. Appreciate the audio
I'll not reiterate on the challenge, but I had difficulty reading between the ASD row, I had to "read" not "identify" what key to press every time.
I suggest using a plus/cross layout in this case, with distinct shapes for each direction, even if it betrays the keyboard layout.

Nice game, the sounds really give it character, as mentioned before I have to keep focus on the keys so it's hard to really look at the graphics, tho i don't really know how to solve that properly either  So the sounds do carry that a lot  2024-04-16 00_50_50-The Wizard Games by silentgiant und 5 weitere Seiten - Geschäftlich – Microsoft.png

cute game,so simple, wish for more content of this game
Nice work! Solid visuals and sounds with simple but effective gameplay. Would be nice to have some more visual theming around the input and summons, but what you have works well!

Really cool game which reminds me of "swords and sandals"
I have a particular love for mouth dubbing. maybe there should be a progression within the game, that we feel the challenge better and why not start a typing game using all the keys on the keyboard. In any case, the whole thing is very sweet and you can clearly see the craftsman behind his game.
