The character does not always turn around. And the enemies take a long time before dying. Could use some balancing. Otherwise a fun game to play and explore around in rooms.

Fun fast paced Retro vibes! Good Job!
I would love to have health bars over the monsters cause I didn't quite know if I'm doing everything ok. Overall I really like art and the idea for this game:)
yeah like Bandsma said, ennemies are a little on the "Hp sponge" side, but other than that it was quite fun.
Also, that’s a lot of sprites :astonished:
The enemies are a bit tanky as other people said. The pixel art is great and the shooting feels satisfying with the sound effect, player being pushed back, and animation of the shotgun. The music feels fitting for the setting. I love seeing a roguelike in this jam as it mixes well with this theme.
Unique visual style of the game, nice work!
cool style, as others said could use a bit of balancing and i didnt really get the collecting antiques bit as i was just shooting ghosts but i enjoyed it regardless. awesome entry
Nice art! Also really like the fast paced controls!
I loved the pixel art, it was simple, clean, and effective. Lots of different enemies and rooms, but the gameplay got a bit stale after a while since the enemies seemed to all have the same behaviors, even the bosses. I had trouble following what I was supposed to do, eventually I think I collected an artifact? I didn't see a way to check my collection. Overall it played well, though. Nice entry!
Nice game, the shotgun is satisfying to fire and the overall concept is good, would be better if enemies have more variety of movement and mechanics.
Nice art! The game feels a bit clumsy because the orientation of your character only depends on his x position. Good entry overall
I was so confused before I realized the boss and antique collection mechanic. I was going through regular room doors endlessly even killed a couple bosses but then went down (instead of home) and was like wtf kinda house this guy live in? Then realized the darker doors were the boss rooms and you wanna go back home after.
Neat little entry. The shooting was addicting. I was hoping to feel much stronger after collecting items but it felt mostly the same at the end.
@wakobu You can move your mouse to aim left and right :)
@theparticularpixel My bad!!!
Love the pixels and remarkably fun! I also got caught up with the mouse aim but once it was clear, it was very smooth.
i really like it^^ The haunted house setting, where you have to chase out a ghost with a shotgun is a nice concept. And the Pixel Art Retro style is really fitting^^ Only the Progress and Balancing is a bit lacking. But for 72h a sick funny game :D
It's going so fast... everyone in this house is angry
The idea is fun and the graphics are cool! The enemies could use a bit more variety though since right now their movement and attack patterns feel quite similar. Their health is also a bit too high and it takes quite a while to kill them, which can feel a bit frustrating, especially at the beginning
LD58Finished3.PNG Finished the game! I love the art style so much! The sprites have so much personality and the low pixel count looks great and extremely readable. Gameplay wise, I felt like my shotgun was shooting rubber bullets. Enemies felt way too spongy. Would have felt more fun one-shotting multiple enemies with a shotgun, instead of repeatedly shooting bullet sponges. Seemed like I was collecting power-ups each run, but they didn't feel like they made that drastic of difference.
I really appreciated all the little visual details in the rooms, like the furniture, wall decorations, and rugs! Overall a pretty fun game!
