YES! YES! YES! This is great. Everything about this game is great. The visuals are well made considering the time, the mechanics are simple but well implemented, there is a backstory, a goal, and some challenges and the thing I liked the most was the music. It reminded me of Rebel Galaxy for a moment, not because of the style but because it gets you hyped for the fight. Congratulations, a well-made video game.

Very enjoyable! Thank you for making and sharing this
Overall, everything felt great from the start. The atmosphere, the music, the controls. All wonderful. Only issue was combat could of been a bit more intuitive, felt like I couldn't aim at my enemies before they shot off somewhere else, but all around just awesome!

Wow! That was awesome. I missed the part on first read about Hostile forces ... took me a bit by surprise. Loved this. A "weight" display may help. I assumed my altitude would just keep dropping, but I figured it out, so not 100% necessary. Music and sound was amazing! Thanks for making this.

I really liked the concept and the shooting was quite satisfying, great job!
That was awesome! I really liked the dynamic music when you go into combat, the music and sound effects in general was great. Well done!
I did notice that quick mouse movements will jerk the ship a crazy amount but it was actually useful in combat haha
PS. add a barrel roll
other than maybe needing mouse sensitivity settings this is an awesome compo entry

if i had any feedback its have the enemy trails red
Very fun, polished, and stylish!
I love the music!
The most impressive part to me is how the ship controls. It's very intuitive, which is something that's quite challenging in 3D. The art, music, and sfx are all really great, the look and feel of the game is excellent.
The only improvement I would suggest is a radar or some other way of telling where enemy ships are. Sometimes you're just flying around living your best life and suddenly you're in a laser light show. I think there might be an audio cue for it? But it's quite subtle.
Fantastic work!
Such a cool vibe, the graphics are amazing! I really liked the use of the music to indicate danger. It would've been nice to have an indicator on the HUD to tell which direction I'm being attacked from. It was also a little confusing that the crosshair was green on the enemies, I thought they were my friends at first. Overall super fun! I couldn't stop playing until I got to the bottom.

Cool game. Movement was super smooth and great feeling. Visuals were impressive, I have not seen many low-res space games like this but this looks awesome.

Very impressive gameplay and amount of small details for being done in 48 hours!
Very good game! Good job!
Beautifully done - polished, nice graphics, solid gameplay. Stunning accomplishment for 48 hours.
You made the simple graphics look really awesome. Love that dynamic music when the battle hits.

NICE! I really love the art, music and gameplay! Controlls are nice and intuitive, and the autoaim was a delight with the mouse :) Initially I was trying to go down and collect stuff, but quickly got rekt by the green guys. On my second attempt, I collected as many stones initially as I could before proceeding. That seemed to do the trick!

I think this is probably one of the better integrations with the theme I've played - the goal was specifically to go deeper, rather than just something that occurred by happenstance. I also really like the low poly graphics. Lots of fun!

Great job. Art and music art fantastic. Would love some ability to do a barrel roll
Really well made, simple 3d graphics yet well polished, great music, good controllers. Good job!! =D
Fantastic. Really polished, looks great, fun to play, great music (love how it picks up when you get into the action). The change in pace between mining asteroids and aerial combat is very enjoyable too. Heck, even the little bit of backstory is well thought out.

Such a cool game! I liked that when an enemy ship aggro's onto the player the music intensifies.
Amazing game! Love the bloom FX and the trail is super satisfying to watch! :D

Oh frick yeah. You did something very clever with the music and I'm not sure what it was exactly. The game just felt nice. Good job.
Wow dude, what a compo submission. Fantastic music and fluid flight mechanics. Great job dude!
The music is really amazing! Especially the switching between normal and combat music is well done! One thing I would love would be a timer/score at the end of the game.

Enjoyed playing. The blocks could have been something else, thought they didn't really fit the scene. And shooting while holding the mouse button would be highly appreciated. Good job.

Truly a gem. This was fantastic. That song was also awesome. Audibly said woah when I first started playing.
Very comfy, relaxing music and gameplay.
A little bit laggy on web... Maybe build a windows version afterwards?
Nice job!
As I said on the game's itch page, excellent ld48 game. The dynamic music and post processing effects give the game a level of polish few other ludum dare games have.

Such a simple idea but it works so well and the spaceship controls feel so satisfying :D I love how you have achieved a very pretty look with the little art you had on hand!

Very nice, lots of fun.
Love the dynamic music! I was so surprised when the music picked up and then an enemy started blasting me. Controls felt great, good aesthetic to the game.
My only suggestion is that when clicking on the how to play button, you present a giant wall of text in the same font color, same size. No one has time for that! It's better to give info in bits and pieces during the gameplay if there's more to digest than just the controls.
I love pew pew game, the music work very well !
Fun game with a lot of potential to add more content. I enjoyed how the ship was flying and fighting other ships. Would be great if the game had diffrent kinds of enemies. The mood of the game was great, felt like a real spaceship pilot.
what an entry - satisfying controls with great player feedback, amazing graphics, audio design, and atmosphere (pun intended) great job!
This is really fun! The flying controls nicely and it looks clean, I really like it - an option to invert the y-axis would be much appreciated! :)
Nice lighting - thruster, laser effects, light reflection off cubes. Very pretty.
The controls are smooth, but maybe player lasers could be a bit faster for better feel, while the enemy lasers a bit slower for more opportunities to dodge (them being very visible and kind of slow-ish is nice change for a flight game where usually bullets are super fast and you just have to avoid being in the enemy line of fire - I really liked that I could actually see the projectiles and was kind of able to dodge). Then could add more enemies to increase difficulty.
Lock-on crosshair is a nice touch, adds some good game feel.
Music is really good, and the change after descending felt very appropriate. But then it glitched out, got cut off, then a while later continued playing slowly with glitchy noises. Then was fine for a while. So yeah, very nice when it isn't glitching out :)
By the way the crashed smoking enemy ships at the ending screen is a nice touch, added to the feel of victory.
Overall, a really nice game, felt quite polished, I enjoyed it - actually wish it was a bit more challenging so I would have a reason to play it more.
This. This game I absolutely love everything about, from the sheer aesthetics to the premise, the dynamic sound, and all as part of the compo it seems absolutely surreal to play. Playing with mouse had some weird side effects, but WASD worked out plenty fine. I wasn't expecting AI to be thrown in and having to do little dog fights to dodge and mine asteroids was awesome. My only criticism is I wish there was even more of this that I could play, simply amazing job!
This gives me great ideas for graphics! So simple and so effective. 5/5.

Very nice vibe to it, the hype change to music during battles is a really nice touch! Nice visuals and audio work all around.
I used mouse controls, which was a little bit awkward (maybe should have used keyboard). The lock-on seemed to actually make it hard for you aim towards the movement during dogfights. I'd kinda like to be able to boost my speed a little bit too in case you get dogpiled by several enemies at once.
As a compo game it's very impressive. Well done!

Game comes together nicely and the music is great. The sky background could have used some tweaking to make it look like space.

Great game! I really liked the controls and the audio.
I did feel like if you wanted you could just farm the metorites at the top and never be in danger of the enemies, which I guess could be a playstyle (more stealthy), but it did feel like cheating a bit. Maybe have less metorites further up and make it denser as you get closer to the planet?
All in all, a really good, solid entry! I liked it :)

Wow that combat music is so cool ! The controls of the ship work really well too, as well as the graphics that are simple yet done with great taste ! The only thing I think it lacks is that it felt that there was nothing interesting to do, shooting asteroids is not that fun, and enemies are quite easy to kill. And during the gameplay, it is not that obvious that what you have to do is shoot asteroids, maybe a bit more feedback on that would have helped. But that's a great compo entry, well done !
