@imer Yeah, agreed on the fire button... There isn't much point in not firing... We actually briefly talked about that after the fact (like for a mobile version, for instance, that could be set to always firing to make the controls better)

Nice references, I wonder what this game looks like for someone who doens't know H2G2... Otherwise was hard but not too much (I died as a whale) So good job !

My feedback is similar to @imer's; if you're going to keep the firing rate as it is, the player shouldn't have to click to fire. It might be worth exploring a different firing rate, or sacrifices tied to ammo?

Also, being a sperm whale is awesome -- are you sure it's a sacrifice? :smile:

VEry funny. I Love the Guide. You are one LDJam too late^^ Aside from the shooting thing, your gun sound is anoying as hell ;) I like the Idea to of "downgrading" your ship.

Nice game! It took me a while, but my final score was over 3 million! I kinda disliked the fact that there was no point in not firing, so maybe it's an idea to add a way to punish firing constantly, or make it impossible. Overall, well done :)

This game really makes you stop and think about the tough questions in life; such as how difficult life must be for a whale that's flying in space. Whose only means of delaying it's inevitable demise is to fling cows (much larger than itself) at a seemingly never-ending wave of enemies.

In all seriousness though I like the game, but the fast scrolling background was pretty uncomfortable on the eyes. It also made the enemies and their bullets difficult to see.

Edit: Also, slightly disappointed I couldn't fling cans of deodorant at the enemy instead of cows :)

Nice game, music is good, graphics are pretty good, i enjoyed playing your game guys =), the sacrifice is really hard sometimes ahah, well done !
