Reminds me of an old Flash game I used to play.
Unfortunately I found a column that seems to have nothing in it. :)

I survived! It was difficult to tell how the placement of the objects affects the wall movement.
Very nice overall mood. Had trouble understanding whether the space mechanic influenced anything.
Awesome concept! Reminds me of Crypt of the Necrodancer :)
It looks cool, but where are the download links? D:
I love this. Excellent concept and execution. Remember that old SNES game Actraiser? This reminds me of that! Great artwork and great fast-paced gameplay! Only thing is.. none of my buildings got destroyed! I ended up running out of health eventually but none of the giants ever made it to my town!
Got 6700 points. Blobby is really cute. :) I had trouble getting his happiness meter up, compared to food which seemed pretty plentiful.

Incredible. No idea how you pulled this off in 48 hours! Love the black/white/red palette. The symbols remind me of when I was first learning to program in QBASIC in DOS. :) That last room is brutal.
My only complaint is I couldn't figure out what the hearts do. I picked them all up anyway but I'm not sure if I needed to.
Awesome! One of the most polished games I've seen so far! Got to round 10, ~71k points.
My only complaint is that I was frequently really low on cards. I spent a few rounds just dodging to try to collect another from my desk. :)
It turns out I also made a "card" based bullet hell game, but with a pretty different feel. Try it out? :)

FYI, the Windows download is missing the Unity player DLL. Can't start the game without it. I grabbed what I assumed was the correct DLL from another game, but it didn't start with that one either. :(
Interesting idea! I normally am really bad at sliding block puzzles but this game actually helped me understand how they work better. :) I managed to complete the small map!
Interesting idea, and it could definitely be fleshed out into a new type of genre. I liked the idea of queuing up moves.
I played two rounds. At first I died by being outside the circle, and it was really hard for me to tell where the circle was. The second round I made it to final three, but once I was in the circle I had to just mash both enter keys for awhile waiting for the other enemies to show up. :)
Super hard! Seems to require incredibly tight timing. I was just holding the "up" button most of the time and trying to fly up the level before the blades closed up.
I love the mellow graphics and music. I also laughed out loud the first time my shot bounced off of a wrong answer and came back to hit me. :)
SPOILERS
I actually went like HOLY SHIT when the ghost flew into Space Intruders and then popped out of the machine. Very cool idea and you're right, it was very coherent!
It was a good call to use the same "ghost" sprite throughout, because even after only seeing it twice, it starts to take on the feeling of a real lurking nemesis!
Interesting idea, using rhythm game elements to charge up abilities! I'm not sure I understood what the last (purple) ability was. I guess it was a shield? I was also a bit confused about the ladder to the hatchway. I eventually turned around and figured out where to go but that seemed like a red herring!
Got the horrible buzzing noise constantly until I muted my machine. :( Couldn't figure out how to fire my gun so I died immediately at night.
Very fun! I also made a turn-based bullet hell game :)

Awesome puzzle format idea! I don't think I've ever seen any other puzzle game with this concept before. My only real gripe is that you can't see all the bullets at the start of each level, but that's a minor thing.
Oof. Hand hurts.
Bleh, Google Drive is a pretty bad interface for grabbing multiple files. Not really your fault though. :)
Overall, cute little game! I think I kinda cheated a bit by multi-jumping a lot (it's easy to spam j, enter, j, enter..) I like the simple graphics. This sort of interface reminds me of another game I played recently called Duskers, where you control drones with typed-in commands.
I got stuck in the tutorial and couldn't complete it for some reason before starting the game, whoops. Should have read the instructions. :) Oh and having to click into the text box was a bit confusing at first. I thought focus would be put there automatically.
@limered Thanks for playing! It was tough to balance this game because I didn't want to make it too hard for people not familiar with the bullet hell genre but also not too easy for people who are good at it. :) A couple of things that would have made it a bit easier didn't make it in, sadly.
@apace thanks for your detailed feedback! I definitely made the game a bit too difficult. Originally it was a little too easy, but I over-corrected. :) As far as the timer goes, I kind of hamstrung myself on that front from the outset because I decided I wanted the timer to match up with the BPM of the background music. I probably could have easily made it 3 seconds:1 second (and then it would have synched up even better...) but I kinda wanted to keep the fast-paced feeling. In retrospect I shouldn't have been so married to that idea.
Huh, I never heard of TIC-80 before, but now I'm going to have to check it out. :)
Way too difficult for me. It moved so quickly I didn't have time to think!
Interesting idea! Adding in a rhythm element to a horror setting I think does enhance the horror aspect because it adds a sense of needing to keep focused and keep moving forward (and it may distract you from something lurking just out of view!). The heartbeat sound effect to indicate the rhythm is a perfect match for the horror theme. The low-key music fit very well.
I stumbled around in the dark for awhile and couldn't really figure out where I was going and ended up going in circles a couple times. Eventually I gave up trying to find the exit. I think the game could have worked well without the additional darkness handicap.
Really nice graphics and good background music. Took awhile to master the mechanics, but I like the idea of an "endless runner" kind of game like this with the concept of needing to save up moves and use them at the right time. The part that requires four jumps in a row was really tricky because you had to reveal more cards while trying to time the jumps. Would have been nice to have keyboard controls to pick and use cards instead of just the mouse.
Very funny, my first 5-point humor score. :)
