LD34 — Two Button Controls / Growing

Strawberry Trafficking by SunShiranui 2015-12-15T12:24:00

I really loved this. With a few improvements here and there it would be a game I play a lot.

The only real flaws I found was that things wern't indicated very well. I have no idea of my players health, now do I know Grandma's (I assume she has health), the end comes very suddenly with no indication of a score or anything like that.

Overall it's great though, really had fun with this one.

I love rhythm games so this was great. Blocking was very tough though. Also, is there a way to continue? I always had to close the game and open it again.

Zen Roots by nopogo 2015-12-15T10:58:00

I fidn't find the game too fun. The theme matched the Ludum Dare very well though.

I also found the graphics far too bright to the point of it hurting my eyes.

The music was by far the best piece of the game.

Too spooky for me (plus I suck and couldn't get past the second lot of enemies)

Reloading seemed off, but that may have been me just panicking.

Very VERY good for 3 days work. You should definitely expand on it later.

Great game. This is the kind of thing I can imagine being very popular on mobile, you should release it there after Ludum Dare!

Android:
Missing some options (the h and b options), Highscore is broken

Windows:
Found a glitch where you can "lock" into a lane that is off the screen. This meant I could just pass everything. I can't replicate it though, so I think it was just perfect timing with pressing l+r and making the screen shake from hitting the side.

I think this would be a great game on Android/iOS, but on Windows I just couldn't get the controls to work.

They worked sometimes but not others. Maybe I don't have a steady enough hand...

Flobe by Skinny Jean Death 2015-12-15T11:39:00

I really liked this, the controls were very different but still a lot of fun to use.

I think it would have been better if it has gotten harder faster, because it seemed like it went at the same pace the entire time, though it may have been increasing very slightly and I didn't notice (I got to 2666 points, or something like that)

Garbage Run by Dege 2015-12-15T12:46:00

This has the potential to be very good, however I don't think it quite gets there.

the art and music were great, however I feel liek the sound effects were a bit off. Especially the "dumping garbage" one, it sounds so negative, I thought I was playing the game wrong until I realised that you only dump the correct coloured garbage automatically.

The spacing of the garbage is also not that great. It's impossible to get too far without missing tons of garbage because you arn't fast enoughto go and grab it all. Sometimes pieces spawn dirtectly opposite of each other, they are impossible to get then.

If those things were fixed I think this would be very fun though.

Sprouting Magic by Dakutau 2015-12-15T15:59:00

Lovely music and sound effects, they really fit the game well.

Puzzlerun by velddev 2015-12-15T15:07:00

I liked the music and the graphics. I wish there was a way to move forward without waiting for the timer though. I also seem to get stuck with no path to go forward without running into "those" or falling down a hole.

My Dino by Reggianito 2015-12-15T15:21:00

Was way too hard for me to get into, but it looked good. I didn't like that you fell off of ladders, I'd have prefered you stick to them so you can avoid bullets on both top and bottom.

Other than that, good job!

Problems:
Start and End screen's scale gorribly on my monitor (1366x768)
Dino scales outside of it's tube (maybe that was intended?)

Steve's misfortune by AdamsMcCall 2015-12-15T12:04:00

Very nice mechanics. I couldn't get past those things firing red balls at you but up until that point it was good.

I think having a delay of a second or two after each death would be much less jarring, or maybe a "click both left and right to continue" message so that you can see how you died and whay you collided with.

Overall very good, I especially liked the story at the start.

EDIT: I accidentally added the 64bit version. I uploaded the 32bit version onto itch.io now, SORRY!

Not loading for me (Firefox). Could you add a download link for Windows?

FlowerPower by limered 2015-12-15T12:32:00

I absolutely love the graphics here. It reminds me of those cheap toys they used to make that they gave away in McDonalds and the like. (I think I have a handful of Sonic games like this where you basically just avoid falling things in various scenarios)

I also had a lot of fun with it. Unlike those cheap toys this one had a challange to it as itgets faster and faster.

And as for the theme, it combines the two perfectly. Well done on that especially!

Overall, great game for this Ludum Dare!

Wings of the World Tree by hydancer 2015-12-15T10:50:00

Really fun, the flying felt very good. I was a little confused about my objective for the first couple of minutes, so it could be made easier to understand your job (even a block of text as you start would have helped)

Overall once I got the hang of it, it was very fun. Good job!
