Very cool idea making a auto attacker (survivors-like?)! I would not have guessed this would come out from this theme, but you did great. Also congrats on being a new father!

An oddly satisfying game, nice the catch that old guys flee from you ahhahaha
Good game play, actually excellent game play. Found that you can bunch up the old guys in the corners and along the edge to get big kills.
Thanks for the game play!
Nice work!
Nice! Who would not want to play as a reaper. Good job!
That's a cool result in such a short time!
Too bad it's easy to miss souls, because they "forget" to reach the player.
I like the idea! It took me a second to get into the groove and I think the game would have benefited from a slightly more forgiving soul collection radius, as I found myself needing to double-back because they would give up fairly easily trying to chase me, and then I would need to stand still. I love the theme though and it was a lot of fun to let the scythe just do its work, especially when it got busier.
e:I didn't want to let it go by without saying that it's impressive how many objects can be on the screen at once with no slowdown. Also congrats on the child!
Almost like an idle vampire survivors, but not idle haha. Nice game and cool idea
I did not expect such a game for the theme. Simple game, but feels good.
Very fun game, especially for something done in only 1.5 days ! This kind of game always get me addicted really fast haha, there is something odd though, it seems my souls counter is divided by two when the round ends, is it a normal mechanic or a bug ?
Super fun game and nice twist to a "vampire survivor"-like game. I played until I unlocked upgrade and had quite some fun.
For some reason many "enemies" (?) gathered around the edges of the map which made just running around the edges an (maybe to) efficient strategie. I would also have liked an upgrade to the collection range or soul speed. As the player gets faster and faster it feels like you are leaving all the souls behind.
Great game! Kinda reminds me of cookie clicker in an oddly satisfying way. I would love to see a soul collection speed/radius upgrade in the future!
Really great auto attacking game. I found it really satisfying. If you plan on continuing developing this game, you could add a powerup for better collection of souls. Kudos to you for making a game in 1.5 days
It's really neat and satisfying (if a little light on the challenge). The only minor gripe is that the pickup speed and radius are a little small, so you have to wait a bit for the souls to fly to you. Fine at the start, but I really wouldn't have minded upgrades to those.
Honestly surprised by how much fun I had with this. A few thoughts: 1. Souls pickup feel WAY too slow. It felt really bad when I could zoom around the map because of the speed upgrades but couldn't actually pick up the souls, because they had such a small pick up zone, and "agro" range. 2. It felt like just going around the edge of the map was the dominant strategy. Other folks have said they like it, I think I'd enjoy it more if the whole thing was a bit more free roam. 3. Upgrades were compelling, but it wasn't obvious to me that I have to spend extra souls over the capacity, instead of the souls I had to meet quota. Might be worth trying to make that a bit more obvious?
Fun Short little game! I was unable to click on either of the round timer upgrades, so my time with it was cut a little short. I'm seeing other people recommending adding some kind of soul collection upgrade, and I thought much the same thing on my playthrough. GG!
Nice to whoop out a big pack of people. Cool that you came this far in that extra short time :)
Nice little game, very satisfying to collect the souls and a clean ui, which is also very good. Can only agree to the other users, that the souls are too slow, especially when you're super fast. But other than that well done!
Fun game! I love the grandpa sprite.
As others have said, dominant strategy is to loop on the edges of the map. I also did not see the points in upgrading player speed, as even with base speed you have to slow down to pick up all the souls. You could make the souls faster or their aggro area bigger from the start, but I think it would be very neat if it was available as a purchasable upgrade.
Congrats on your entry, you did a great job for your circumstances!
Thank you all for the nice feedback. I uploaded a "post jam" version on a separate webspace containing my complete vision of the game. Link: https://soulsdeliverysystem.netlify.app/
Some of you ( @momo-hunter @bea @gametrodon @apple-dash @beefnbrocoli @nick-baggett @spiritwiz @twobitadder @obittner ) critisized the slow soul movement. I made soul speed an upgrade now. Also there is an upgrade for the collection radius.
I also added a android version, if you want to deliver some sould on the go. Can be found on itch.
Thank you all again for the comments.
