The difficulty is a bit random across the waves but overall it's a nice idea for a game. I like the graphics and the ambient sounds (birds, barking dog etc.) - it adds to the mood.

Nicely implemented game! I like the dragging of the bug target idea! I also like the transitions between the waves. Nice job!
Very fun idea. Love the ambience sounds, and the effects when shooting. In some levels the AI targeted almost all correctly, that was fun. Felt like I taught the AI. But then it got bad again later on :) Starts getting hard after wave 20, made it to 29.
The explosions are cool. Nice litte Crazy Chicken Hunter with bees.
The way you had the player start the game by playing the game was clever. It was a fun game and had cool sounds. ty :)
This would be a perfect mobile game! It reminds me of Papers, Please and that game was easier to move objects around on mobile (tablet).
Excellent game! Very creative and fun. Each wave is a different challenge. I really like the simplicity of the game. The graphics are interesting, and the sound is pleasant. Good job!
I have to agree with other in the comments section. I think this would've been a better touch-screen game. Flailing about with the mouse pointer like a mad man never really works for me, I just haven't got the precision for it  Other than that it was an interesting take on the theme. Well done!
At the start its a bit slow but after some waves it makes fun :)Screenshot 2022-10-05 211618.png
I feel like the earlier levels were designed by hand rather than just random assortments of the two types. I like that. Though, I do wish it got difficult faster, since I had the game pretty down pat by round four, but it wasn't until round 22 or so that it actually started to get difficult. Cool idea!
@zungryware, Well spotted, the first 25 levels are designed manually, after that the levels are dynamically generated. Although it is not very clever generation: All it does is add one more pre-targeted bee and one more un-targeted mosquito each dynamic level. Thanks for playing!
A simple game concept which fits perfectly within a Jam, good job! My main complaint lies in the fact that with such a cool presence, the background audio and effects just don't fully sell it for me. Additionally I want to say that the opening segment where the player has to prove they know the core mechanic to play the game is a very clever and effective tutorial, so kudos there :)
Had fun with this one, died on wave 28. I could tell the pressure was increasing by about 1 additional targeted bee each wave later on since I missed 1 bee, then 2, 3, and 4+ on consecutive rounds. There's just too many to re-target at that point. Still, not a bad way to force an ending on an otherwise endless game. Very satisfying shooting/zapping sfx, circle of light, and particles to really sell the impact of the targeted bugs! Great tutorial to start the game too. Shows that even a super basic game can shine with the right polish, nice work!
This game is really fun! Fresh idea, and great use of the theme. This is the funnest compo game I have tried so far. You should consider adding a bit more to this little game and releasing for mobile devices.
Fun little game! it is much harder than what it seems at first. I really like the feedback you put in place : we can really feel the laser zapping those poor insects... Good job!
I would have liked if the hitboxes were a tiny bit bigger, I had some trouble clicking them sometime. I'm bitrreally precise with a mouse however 😅
That is an neat little game, weirdly addictive  I liked the levels that were basically a "Where is Waldo" type of game !
As others have said, having slightly bigger hitboxes would have been nice, though.
Still, good job overall
What a unique idea. The core gameplay is solid and it gets really hectic trying to find all the targeted bees in time. I think the difficulty curve as the waves go up was a bit inconsistent, some of them being way too easy too far into the game. I think the hitboxes could also be bigger to put more focus on visually identifying the targets instead of having precise aim.
This is a fun and very polished game. I feel like there was a nice difficulty curve in the first five waves, then it disappeared for the next twenty waves, and then showed up again and shot me in the face.
The gameplay was solid, and I like the sound effect + the smooth transitions between the waves. I also like the intro, immediate taught me how to play the game. I would tune the difficulty curve a bit though.
A super simple little game idea, and it is pretty fun to play. The difficulty could have been increased a bit more over time. Overall a good compo game.
Amazing Idea and game was full of fun .
the feeling of zapping bugs with the effects you put in is so satisfying when I was doing good and made messing up much more impactful, really good job with this game.
That's a great game! Very cool idea and good execution. Could be fun to play on phone too
This game is really cool. I like how you variety waves and what theme you choose. Also i can describe graphic and particles.
I like watching mosquitos die, especially with nice particle effects :joy:, nice job!
Really polished, I especially like the mini-tutorial where you can't progress until you've shown you understand the game. I think I agree with some of the comments that it starts off a little slow, but once it ramps up its really fun! I guess this would be breaking from the theme slightly, but it would be good if the level auto progressed if you successfully removed all the bee targets. I had a lot of fun playing, great job!
