I absolutely love the concept of this, and the humor in it is really great. I'm struggling a bit with the gameplay, but I immediately clicked on the game because of the ridiculous concept and the fact you named someone Johnny Baseball, lol.

looks awesome and is definately ok to play but its a bit too final fantasy fighting for my liking. love the name.

diabolically funny theme and pretty interesting gameplay. Extra points for naming Johnny Baseball

Funny concept, I really thought this was going to be normal baseball lol. Maybe it would help if there was some UI indicator to see which character you're controlling?

Funny game! A tutorial would be helpful, though.

I love how much you committed to the absurd idea nonsensical baseball turned into turn-based combat. Pentagram as the baseball diamond? Perfect. Main character named Johnny Baseball? Art.

Gameplay made sense as the game progressed, very much like I'd expect from the premise of making up rules on the spot. The art and sounds all combined for that early-90s quirky PC game vibe. Nice work on this.

Absurd and off the wall, this was cool! Had a good laugh playing this, it was definitely a unique game! Maybe to the point that I didn't entirely understand what I was supposed to be doing half the time - some tutorials could have gone a long way. Still very satisfying melting demons with a buffed explosive baseball though!

I like the humor in the game! It took me a while before I knew what I was supposed to do, and I wish there was some UI indication about who is who, because now I could keep attacking demons who were already dead. But the explosive attack was very fun to watch!

As soon as I entered, I was immediately drawn in by the visuals. This five-star grid layout is quite novel and appealing. Haha! There's also a hint in the top left corner. The setting and gameplay of this game are very interesting!

I think the style and take of a guy named Johnny Baseball is very funny! I also really enjoyed the dialogue at the beginning. I didn't really understand the gameplay so perhaps in a post jam release a tutorial would be nice. Tho interesting concept

The graphics in this are great - and the concept is interesting, but I am not sure I understood very much of the gameplay, so some tutorial for people like me would have helped :-) I am also not sure if this is just me misunderstanding the game, but the theme feels a bit shoe-horned in - not a big problem though.

Love the dialogue and premise, and the visuals are very fun. I was pretty confused initially but the tutorial video was enough to start playing properly. I think an in-game tutorial would help a lot if you're wanting to expand on this post-jam. Beyond a tutorial some more UI/UX things to help show the state of the game at any one moment would make it a lot more accessible, like maybe current character indicators or an indicator appearing when you're selecting your target. Overall I had a lot of fun once I figured out what I was doing!

It had fun atmosphere and I like the aesthetic. It also started to be more fun when I understood the mechanics, and it basically reminds me of JRPGs' turn-based fights. And with that goes my suggestion that we need to be shown what demon/human we are currently managing as it wasn't clear to me what I'm doing at first with signals. It could be as simple as highlighting them during their round. Also I would prefer in-game tutorials / instructions over recordings but I understand that maybe time-constraint made it impossible to make proper tutorial or maybe you didn't want to overwhelm us with a lot of text. Other than that it would be great to have option to go back if you change your mind what you wanna do before choosing person or swing type
